Arrived at 8:06 this morning and front gate was still shut. Ladies inside oblivious to us being there even when I went up to the window to ask if they were open. Husband went up to a younger guy who was bent over something near the front desk. When asked if they were open he just said, 'yeah' but never turned around. Walked around the lot looking for someone to help us but nobody about. As we were leaving my husband saw the young man again and said, "Thanks for the help" only to have the kid laugh at us. We were there to buy 2 large trees to be planted and drove all the way from far east Mesa because when we lived in Gilbert we always had amazing service and quality product from here. Very disappointed today.

Sold me a tree that died in less than two weeks. It was planted immediately in early October 2025, temps were highs of low 90s. Wouldn't refund me or replace it either. Expect the same treatment if you buy from here.

A beautiful, huge selection of plants, ground cover trees and all the accessories you’d need. Very helpful employees some more help with design too.

This place is amazing, colorful, and the people there are there because they love what they do. And they've all been there for some time. Plants are healthy, priced well, so much variety and additional garden art, knowledge is easy to gain.... I've loved coming here since I moved here a few years ago!! I built this today:

I enjoy meandering through the walk ways and paths looking at all the different plants, fauna and shrubbery. The employees are friendly and courteous. Willing to lend a hand. Whitfill Nursery has a greenhouse home to tropical plants and a pair of lovely birds. The greenhouse is a treasure! It's humid within and gloriously green!! It has a peaceful calming atmosphere. They also have chickens that may roam the nursery at times. It is a beautiful oasis to explore and a splendid choice for all your plant needs.

Beautiful nursery, would go here just to take a walk around the property. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. The plants are happy and thriving.

Prices seem to be better than other nurseries too.

Best nursery around the East Valley. We purchased all our fruit trees from here and flowers. Everything we purchased all the 15 years we have been going here all thrived accepted maybe one plant that’s it. We have had such great success we love this nursery. Their fruit trees taste amazing as well. Everyone that works there is very helped and nice too.

We love whitfill nursery! Everyone its so amazing and helpful! We don't have more spots for trees😂 its always therapeutic visit them.. especially Gabe🤍 he is like family to us! Excellent business

We loved looking around and gathering ideas for our backyard. So many different trees, plants, and decor of all kinds. Definitely will come back here...well that is when we decide to start working on the backyard or the front yard for that matter.

Colton was very knowledgeable and helped steer us - very happy with our purchase. The delivery and planting team was equally outstanding… gave us lots of helpful info on the install and how to ensure they take off.

We've been here a handful of times and the customer service has always been great so we called them recently to see if they could help us landscape a very small area of our yard & Bob came out to look at the space. He sent a photo later in the day of 3 plants he thought might work but unfortunately life does happen and we weren't able to get back with him until a few weeks later and his response was "we don't have what you want." We did call the nursery just to confirm and yes they in fact DO carry every single plant we asked about.
I understand maybe he felt his time was wasted but it wasn't intentional and also we live maybe 5 minutes down the street from the nursery & the entire interaction took under 30 minutes.

Way over priced! Bought a tree a year ago and it died. Stopped by A&P and the same size tree was 140 dollars cheaper. Customer service was great and they have really nice stuff. It definitely helps to shop around.

I have visited and purchased from this nursery several times over the past couple years after moving to the area. Generally, the staff is friendly and helpful with questions. When I saw a tree in a neighbors yard that I was curious about, they offered me a clipping and I know I could go to Whitfill to get help identifying it and purchasing it.

We were approached by an older gentleman who promptly identified the tree as a Hong Kong Orchid and showed us where they had smaller and larger versions of the tree. The smaller versions were around $150 but when we looked at the larger trees they were all tagged $125. Deciding that we'd like to get the larger tree which was for some reason less, we asked him what the process was for delivery and planting.

He proceeded to give us the pricing and we indicated we wanted the trees tagged for $125. Immediately, he said these weren't $125 and that the price tag was wrong. in his words "I could put this tag on those smaller trees." We were confused because we didn't see any other pricing on these trees at all, just the $125 price tag. He left and came back to tell us that these trees were actually $500.

Deciding that we didn't want to pay four times what was shown on the tag, we left. His attitude and approach to this situation were extremely disappointing - making it unlikely we'd ever come back here again. As we left, we watched him scurry over to the trees and rip all the tags off so they could charge more.

This is a nice nursery. They have a good selection of both outdoor and indoor plants. They offer some trees at fair pricing (not as many as Tree Land over on Arizona Ave, but FAR more than Summer Winds). This nursery has a nice selection of pottery and garden art, as well as a HUGE tropical plant greenhouse. There are lots of dinosaurs to entertain young kiddos. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is awesome to hang out at and get plants. They have a wide variety and my mother has bought like 30 of them! Our house is turning into a jungle! They also have some birds in the greenhouse and they like to talk.

Great experience shopping here - came here to buy a housewarming gift for our friend and Cally (hope I am spelling their name correctly) helped us pick the perfect one. They walked us through the nursery and helped us find a beautiful pet friendly plant!! If you ever shop there, make sure to ask for Cally! 10/10 experience because of them. Thank you again Cally💗🤩
