What a great company with great people! Read this 100% true story. I called the other day because my water softener wouldn’t stop backwashing. Houston answered and even though it was late in the afternoon, he said he would be in my area that afternoon and would be happy to stop by on his way home. No service fee, dispatch fee, or other ridiculous fees just to come out and see what’s happening, he just wanted to help.

Houston showed up right when he said he would, did a quick evaluation and said it’s a great unit I have, and if something isn’t broken inside the “head unit”, there’s likely only two culprits, he told me the exact price for each of the two parts, said he wasn’t sure which one it was, but he had the parts on his truck and he would try both of them to see if either fixed the problem before even charging me. Amazing.

He explained that spending several hundred dollars for fixes may not be worth it on a unit that is almost 20 years old and explained why. I knew, of course, he was right. He took apart the gear pack and installed a new one. The problem didn’t go away. He checked the other part, that didn’t fix it either. He determined, and I was there with him the whole time and he was right, that something broke inside the head unit.

He put the old parts back in, put the system on bypass, told me the options for the new system, and he even shared which one he uses in his own house and why. He told me his schedule and encouraged me to shop around to see that his prices are excellent. I already knew his service was fantastic. So I did.

I found a company that was a few hundred dollars less and had good reviews. I reached out to Houston to share what I found. He said he’d love to earn my business and would match the price. He’s also a firefighter, found out I was too, and gave me a first responder discount.

Houston’s company is family owned and operated. His nephew is a licensed plumber with years of experience, he came out just a few days later to install the new system. The install was perfect and his nephew was friendly, competent, professional, and detail oriented. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Just a solid, honest, family-run business I’d gladly recommend.

I am a retired senior and my wife was out of town when our water softener went bad. Gilbert water Softeners was my first call and they were fantastic! Will was quick, professional and personal. An added benefit is this new system uses a fraction of the salt our old system used!

Great service. I received a quote from another company that told me I needed a new system, but when Gilbert Water Softeners looked at it, I only needed a tank charge. Honesty goes a long way.

I highly recommend Gilber Water Softeners for any plumbing needs. I had Will come out and give me a quote on a whole house water filtration and softener system. He took his time and answered all of my questions and even went in the attic to make sure everything looked good for the installation of a new loop. On installation day, Houston, Cody and I believe Tyler came to work on the project. They were all wonderful and also willing to answer any questions I had. They went above and beyond installing the system and cleaned up very well. You can tell they take pride in there work. I also had Will back for some other plumbing needs and he did a great job. I would not hesitate calling them again for any future needs and if your thinking of getting a whole house filtration and water sofenener, dont hesitate. I dealt with ezcema for 8 years here in the valley and it all cleared up in 2 weeks.

The plumber, Will, was excellent! He was professional, efficient, and friendly. He answered all my questions. I highly recommend Gilbert Water Softeners for ALL your plumbing needs.
He took out the broken softener, installed the new softener, removed the filtration system under the kitchen sink, disconnected the r/o connection to the refrigerator, and ran a line from the existing house faucet behind the refrigerator.

Houston and Will were great to work with. They were both thorough and answered all of my questions. Will showed up on time, was easy talk to and did a great job with the set up. We have a unique situation where we park a large truck in the garage and will ran some longer pipes so we would still be able to park in the garage.
