Constraction reviews in Peoria, Arizona

Would give no stars. Only reason is that when my husband went he talked to the girl on the phone to see if they were hiring and she said yes that there are positions that they are really needing guys for. We went the and he went in got an application came outside and filled it out, he said "babe this is just going to be a waste of time, the way she looked at me I think she thought I was going to rob the place or something". Unfortunately my husband made a bad mistake when he was younger and had gotten tattoos on his face which he is having removed. Then the girl came outside and spent about 20 mins on the phone as she watched my husband walk back inside to turn in the application; he came back out to the car after 10 mins and we waited for her to finish up talking on the phone. My husband went back in there and turned in his application. She said she would give it to the hiring manager. Which the guy before him was already waiting to see the person in charge of hiring and he spoke to the woman on the phone 5 mins before we got there and she said they needed several workers for the position he applied for and I am sure his app went to the bottom of her trash can. Bottom line my husband was discriminated against based on his appearance not off his credentials, skills and experience. This is a late review as it happened like almost 6 months ago but it's something I will never forget. It was their loss in the end and an experience I wish to never go through again.

Was in Queen Creek this morning behind one of their employees driving a white Chevy truck. Not sure what he was doing in there, but at one point, almost drove-off the right shoulder of the road and wasn't consistent with his speed at all. If this is how their employees drive, I can't imagine the work they would do to my home.

I grew up with the CEO's son, Clint Younger. Matter of fact, the CEO, used to baby sit us. While Clint Younger and I used to ride his quads in there back yard. Having a blast. And playing pop-warner football. A long time ago. Time flies! Great family! Great business as well.

I bought a new house from a builder for which they did the plumbing installation. Their plumbing services are bad on so many levels:
My tankless water heater that Younger Brothers installed went out on a Thursday and I called Younger Brothers. They never called back — not even for an “emergency” repair. I finally got a hold of someone on Monday. At first they said it was not covered under warranty even though I had just moved into the house, and then when I explained the situation, they realized they had to cover it for another year. Their installers never connected the condensation drain to the unit during the installation. They scheduled the service appointment finally for the following Tuesday to finish their faulty installation. This is absolutely the worst customer service imaginable. -
Left a message on day 1 and NO RETURN CALL. Called the next day, day 2 to be answered by the receptionist who sounded like she did not want to be bothered then transferred me to Andrea who also sounded like she did not want to take the call. If you do not like customer service maybe you should speak up so you do not have to take customer calls and be rude. I read all the reviews and it seems the worse of this company are the ones who actually take the calls not to mention the bad drivers.

I want to recognize Sergio Luna as an outstanding Pest Control professional in this company, He is an excellent and knowledgeable communicator. Professional but also friendly and takes a personal interest in his clients.
I recently had a request that required him to adjust his schedule to accommodate me. He accomplished this even though I know it caused some difficulty.
I hope Younger Bros. realizes what a good employee they have and compensate him appropriately.

Very disappointed with the customer service and the first point of contact. I called to get some information because I've heard great things about this company but unfortunately the women on the phone who answered my call was short, rude, and didn't listen to what I needed. I was trying to explain what I was looking for but she didn't care to listen or hear me out and cut me off. I didn't get a chance to talk to anyone about a quote but if this is who is representing the company I can find someone else in Scottsdale who will take my business.

We recently discovered termite tunnels at the rear of our home. The house is 4 years old. We called a couple of companies out who gave us the treatment plan to include the areas that were paved. We also called the builder who told us the warranty was expired but we can call the original company who treated for termites, Younger Brothers, to get a new treatment. They gave us a lower price than others so we agreed to have them come out. Big mistake. Even though in the contract they marked the pavers area when they arrived to do the treatment they refused to drill between the pavers , only where there were tunnels. Two months later more tunnels, right at the pavers the company refused to treat. Again, they only drilled and spot treated where the tunnels were located and refused to treat the entire paver area. Tried to speak to the manager, Jennifer, who was no help. Her boss, Dave Shirwood did not even return my message. I am now waiting for more termite tunnels to pop up in the untreated areas. What a poor customer service experience. Sorry to go with this company for anything. I know they also do construction, concrete and other trades but don't trust them.

These guys have to be one of the worst in the business. We bought a new build that these guys worked on and their work is tremendously shotty. I feel bad for my neighbors that don’t know anything about construction. I am an amateur at best and these guys make me look like a pro. They use the wrong tools constantly. They have had to replace my entire master shower because they can’t figure out how to level a shower pan. 2 cheap plastic shark bites had lines that were cross threaded. Stay far away from these guys, even if you are on a budget. They don’t pay attention to any details, very sloppy subpar work.

I had a scary experience with one of their drivers yesterday. I was at a 4 way stop , it was my turn to go. I proceeded to go when A young kid driving a very large truck for this company decided to pull out in front of me as I was in the middle of the intersection. I had to slam on the brakes to keep from hitting him. He threw his hands up at me. Could have ended badly. If he can’t drive safely and respectfully he probably shouldn’t be driving for your company. This occurred between 10 and 11 am at Glendale and Cotton lane. I did not get the truck number or license plate unfortunately.

One of your drivers that likes to put people in dangerous situations just because they can’t drive! Acting real innocent like he didn’t try to run me off the road! Tailgating drivers, reckless speeding!

They don't care about the customer...
Complete Lack of Customer Service! Multiple service calls to get them to fix the problem.
They did warranty work for two different plumbing issues in our new house (shower; bathroom faucet) and showed complete disregard for trying to fully "fix" the issues. They were absolutely more concerned with getting out of there with a minimum of work and time.
I strongly recommend against using this company for your plumbing needs. Go anywhere else! I'm truly surprised at how unresponsive they are to the real issues and how they justify NOT fixing them.
Example: Saying there was (no bigger than) a pea-sized piece of grout left in the drain, and they refused to release video footage of the drain (to me as the homeowner, or to the builder) to prove their assertion, so they called the issue fixed. Finally got the builder to strong-arm them to come out one more time (builder accompanied them on this third visit), and the amount of grout that came out of the drain was large with one of the pieces being at least 1" in diameter.
Buyer Beware! -
We use the pest control service, and I couldn't be more impressed. Sergio is always very personable when he sends me a text to let me know that he is coming to spray. He asks how the family is doing, and sends well wishes each time. He is extremely knowledgable about the creatures living in our area. He gives us a thorough run down of the insect/rodent, and the best way to get rid of them. He seriously has the best customer service out of anyone I have ever dealt with. The reason I am giving 4 stars out of 5, is the fact that I am not crazy about their billing system. If they would change that a bit, then I would be 100% satisfied.

Specifically, the service provided by Younger Brothers Plumbers has been unsatisfactory. They repeatedly promise to fix the issue within a week, but they have not responded or taken action up to this point.
Younger Brothers Plumbers have visited my home a few times. Despite it being a new home with plumbing work done by them, they've mentioned that there was a mistake in the installation, and it would require breaking into the home to fix the error. I'm unsure who to contact to resolve this issue. -
We had Yonger Brothers come to our newly purchased home for a termite application. The appointment was easy to schedule. The service person was polite and he did a thorough job. We were pleased and will definitely use them again.

The main office has very friendly and helpful staff. I immediately felt welcomed. The front office is very clean, in order, and very professional. Lots of parking if there for employment etc.

FROM HUBBY -
My first 1 star review.
Been dealing with termites for a year since I purchased my brand new home with Pulte.
Unfortunately have been dealing with this company that I am under warranty with.
They have came to my home 4 times since the initial treatment and I currently still have termites damaging my walls and home. I called to express my frustration with the situation since it will be the 5th time in under a year they will be coming out and I was met with immediate attitude from their General Manager Jennifer.
She was extremely rude, wasn’t empathetic with my situation and basically told me to bring it up with Pulte if I have problems with their service. At no point did she highlight that they are doing everything in their professional toolbox to prevent the situation from continuing, all she explained is they do whatever is labeled on the bottle of foam the pump through the walls. To me that seems like they are doing the minimum effort to just fulfill a warranty.
Now I am stuck with active termites and a whole bunch of damaged drywall and potential beams (we wouldn’t know since this company did not do a thorough inspection of where this infestation is occurring) -
I am writing this review because of disrespect and ignorance. I live in a new community development Lucero. Young Brothers employee continues to play his music very loud. My wife and I have spoken to the Young Brothers employee several times about his loud music. I was awaken this morning at 7am to his very loud music. I live a street over from where Young Brothers employee is working and I'm sitting in my living room and i can hear his music.( yes my window is open).Currently the Young Brothers employee is working on Thurman in Lucero in Goodyear AZ. I spoke to the construction supervisor over the development this morning about the loud music and it has been turned. This is a ongoing problem with this Young Brothers employee. After the employee has been spoken to several times about his loud music and still continue is disrespectful and ignorance on his part. Play your music but turn it down to a respectful level.

Younger Brothers were the installer of the RO system on my house. So I thought I was doing the right thing by using them for basic RO filter replacements. But I was wrong. They are terrible.
The first time I scheduled with them, they failed to show without any explanation. Rescheduled. The tech that showed was great!
The second time the filters needed replacement, a different tech came and replaced them. He failed to refill the air tank - so we had no water pressure.
The third time the filters needed replacement, one of the filter housings was leaking. So I scheduled replacement of filters *and* inspecting the canisters. The most recent tech returned. Once he left, another filter was leaking immediately. I asked to schedule again and *inspect the canisters* and have them replaced if needed. I was happy to pay for it. The same tech came out but sat in his van for over 30 minutes dismissive of our work schedules or time. He couldn’t be bothered and later said he didn’t keep canisters on hand. He simply tightened the canister until it stopped leaking. This was in May. No inspection of anything.
I spoke to a manager and asked what the results were for inspecting the canisters. He said they were not inspected. Filters were replaced and tightened. I asked to have the canisters replaced, but I was refused this service since they no longer service these units beyond the filters. Essentially trying to sell me an entire new RO system. Mine was barely 5 years old *which Younger Brothers installed*. I simply asked to pay for inspecting the RO system and canisters - and determine if the problem is the canisters or the entire system. He refused.
This morning, a loud noise came from the garage and whatdya know? The most recent filter the tech cranked down ruptured below the seal spraying water all over the garage and dry wall.
Extremely disappointed with this company and their on going apparent incompetence. Will never recommend them and caution anyone considering them. -
My new build used them for most of the contract work in my home. I had an issue recently with my tankless water heater and they came out same day. They were a little late for expedited service, but the fixed the problem and waived the $100 extra fee. They also let me know I had a 6 year warranty which I didn't know about! I also had an issue with a few of the door handles and they took care of them with now problem. I can't recall the name of the guy who came, but he was friendly, conversational, and worked hard.
