I would highly recommend Sunburst Landscaping in Arizona for installing synthetic turf in your yard. Their customer service was great. The installers were on time and completed the project a head of schedule. Our backyard looks amazing now that we have synthetic turf! My husband loves it as he does not have to mow no longer!

Worked with AJ V from Sunburst, he came out and gave a quote and explained how the pet turf worked and answered all the questions I had. He kept notes of some of the specifics about how the turf would be leveled etc., and even had the crew who came out to lay the turf also clean up a small flower bed and lay weed barrier without an extra charge. AJ was great to work with and was always very responsive and professional.

The crew was fantastic as well. Ismael was the crew lead and we spoke very briefly before the work began. When I would begin to talk about what I had told AJ (and that AJ noted) Ismael already knew what I was referencing and knew what needed to be done- it was easy to tell he and the crew had prepared for the job and did their homework. On top off that, they worked very fast, cleaned up completely, and made sure there wasn't anything else I needed adjusted etc. Ismael's crew was some of the best I've seen and can't recommend him enough.

Working with AJ and Ismael was so easy, and it was a really great experience overall working with Sunburst. Definitely recommend AJ, Ismael, and Sunburst for landscaping projects.

I couldn't be happier with Sunburst Landscaping. We bought their top of the line product and the installation crew did a fantastic job. Our representative was very helpful when we had questions and concerns. And the owner stood behind any concerns we had. Thank you AJ and Mark!

Things go wrong. How they are dealt with is the real difference. Sunburst exceeded my expectations in every way when it comes to customer service. We had turf installed, there were issues and we did not like the end result. They tried resolving, still wasn't right. They tried again and again until we were 100% pleased. It wasn't about the cost to Noelle, but all about our satisfaction as a customer. Mark and Noelle made sure they got it right in the end. We couldn't be happier with our turf and the experience. I would not hesitate to contact Sunburst again for any sized project.

Sunburst Landscaping did a great job on my front and backyard. Francisco and his crew arrived when they said they would each day, they worked tirelessly clearing and cleaning up the property and then transforming it into the yard that I had pictured in my mind. This crew was professional, organized, polite and kind. My front and back yards look GREAT! Thank you for a job well done!!!

I was raised with the phrase that it's not how you start, but how you finish. Mark and team at Sunburst are a perfect example of that! We hired them a year ago to put in the plants and trees in our backyard. We had some issues over time with numerous plants and a tree dying and the sprinkler system wasn't installed correctly. But with every call, their dedication to service is evident. They are respectful, courteous, and follow through on their promises. They did a beautiful job and were able to address all of my concerns. I would hire them again in an instant!

My wife and I had a project to complete in our front yard that included some concrete demolition, new concrete work, curbing and finally some beautiful turf. We weeded through the quotes that we received and chose to go with Sunburst Landscaping.

Rusty came out and gave us our quote and ran through a few ideas with us. We called and the office lady said their jobs were 2 weeks out and that we were scheduled 2 Fridays from when we spoke. They would start on that Friday, and finish on the following Monday.

We heard from no one regarding our $4000 project for 2 weeks until I emailed Rusty the morning of the project. Rusty called that morning to tell me they would not be starting that day and could maybe get it started on the following Tuesday if he could get things going with the curber. We had fit the project perfectly between two upcoming vacations and were disappointed to undergo the change of plans.

From there I got a phone call from Rusty's supervisor saying he would be taking over the project and for my wife and I not to worry. We scheduled another 2 weeks later when we returned home from our vacation. Mark called 2 days before the project started and we thought all would be well.

The crew came, and I had to reiterate our ideas since Rusty did not include them in the notes for his crew; my thoughts, where did Rusty go?... it's day one and I'm having to explain the details to the crew.

They worked for two days and left..... a mess.
There was concrete all over the side of my house, they cleaned out their concrete mixer into my backyard, left slurry in 3 different places throughout my property, and left a whole portion of concrete unfinished near my back gate. My neighbor's brick yard accents had concrete poured over them as well. Everything just looked sloppy.

We waited a few days to see if they were coming back to clean up, and no word. We called Mark, the supervisor, to fix things and he passed me back off to Rusty because he was going on vacation. They said they would be there Wednesday to fix things. My wife called out of work and waited all day to oversee and explain to the crew what our expectations were and guess what, they did not show up, again.
My wife called Rusty and he said "there was a miscommunication between the crew and himself because of their LANGUAGE BARRIER." My wife took another day off and waited the following day for them to come and fix their sloppy work. They fixed everything and apologized many times. We have not heard a word from Mark nor Rusty since, its been a few weeks.

My wife picks up cigarette buts from time to time from where the workers just threw them in our yard.... Just sloppy work, sloppy management, sloppy experience.

We have a blank slate of a backyard and we will not be asking Sunburst to come back to work on our property, and any neighbor that asks about our work gets told the same thing, We would not recommend using Sunburst Landscaping.

We gave 2 stars because the product (turf) used is beautiful.

I needed some landscaping done around my pool. Rocks weren't cutting it and I couldn't get grass to grow at all. I contacted Sunburst Landscaping and Mark came out and we discussed my options. He showed me the EasyTurf and I was amazed at the quality of the product. Within the week my yard was complete. Travis and his crew came out. I couldn't be home on install day but just dropped in on my lunch hour. Travis and his crew were great. They introduced themselves, shook my hand and explained to me everything they were doing. WOW!!!! Mark came by that evening and met with me and we walked around the yard. I am extremely happy with the product and very impressed with the great customer service or this company. I highly recommend them.

We hired Sunburst to do our front and back yard. Our "landscape designer" was horrible. We ended up with a front yard that now has large plants in front of small plants you can't even see. A tree over 7 feet tall that was supposed to be a small bush - that now intrudes on and blocks the walkway we can't even use. Some of the plants were obviously planted at an angle as they grow into the other walkway. We even ended up with plants and bushes that were supposed to be dwarfs - that are now over 4 times the size of what a dwarf version would/should look like. I wouldn't recommend Sunburst to anyone. Update - we have now had someone fix the 5th leak in our drip system...the first one coming after only 1.5 years after install. On a positive note - the turf in backyard is beautiful and holding up great - better than others we have seen.

Refused to work with an out of state customer with property in Arizona.

Response to owner, I was not short or demeaning. I ask the question, "Will your company work with someone managing the project manager from out of state". The customer service agent responded politely with the response of "No, we can not work with those situations." I was a little surprised a company would turn down a job that will likely be >25k and expressed my surprise but appreciated the frankness of the customer service agent. Owner can agree to disagree but is misrepresenting what happened. Have happily found a different contractor. In addition, my number does not show up as Katie Greene and so I struggle to understand how the owner "reviewed" this call.

This decision was made in the moment by the customer service agent and never referred to Management for a decision.

We had Sunburst Landscaping revamp our front and backyard earlier this month, and they did a phenomenal job!! We had synthetic turf installed in both the front and backyards, as well as masonry work in the back, and it has been a night-and-day difference. I feel like we can actually enjoy being in our backyard for once. Mark did a terrific job at laying everything out, the work team was very thorough, and the results were beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend Sunburst Landscaping, and in fact, I've been doing so to folks who stop by to comment on the property! Thanks Mark, thanks Sunburst! Terrific work!

We had a bad experience with Sunburst Landscaping after the artificial turf installed wasn't the quality or workmanship we expected. After a couple of quick fixes that didn't solve the problem, we contacted their warranty department again. This time the warranty manager came to the house with a sample of turf he thought we would be happy with and two weeks later the turf was installed by two very professional people. The new turf looks great and we are very pleased with the service and installation. The only reason I am leaving four stars is that it was so frustrating that the original turf wasn't replaced over a year ago. I deleted my one star review that was written when we were not getting anyone to call us back two weeks after contacting the company, so the response by the owner is in regard to the one star review.

Mark and the team at Sunburst were head and shoulders above other landscaping companies I looked into for Turf. They offered a better product, were professional and responsive in every interaction and ensured I was happy with the install ahead of a big family gathering. I couldn’t be happier with Sunburst and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for artificial turf in the valley!

Mark, Pedro, and the rest of the Sunburst team did a wonderful job for us. From the design consultation to the installation, we had a great experience. The pricing was very reasonable, and we are very happy with the quality of our turf. We (and our dog) are happy customers!

We are 100% pleased with everything! Alex Vetnar gave us the design and a very reasonable bid, and was so delightful and professional. Ours was a huge job but the crew completed it all in two weeks with utmost professionalism. They were awesome! We are so happy we chose AZ Sunburst Landscaping for our new backyard!!

Had Sunburst Landscaping do my front yard and it was not a good experience. I have a mature (45 yr. old) tree in my front yard, two smaller ficus trees that I planted, and some small barrel cacti (etc.) that Sunburst planted. All of these need to be on different watering schedules/durations and while I specifically requested three [3] separate watering lines, they only installed one. So either the mature tree gets over watered or the small plants get underwatered. Needless to say all the small plants that Sunburst planted are now dead, and I'm still manually watering the small trees. Not to mention I was quoted for 3 lines and that's what I paid but that's not what I got. I also had to tell them three times the rocks were not the right kind. The brick planter borders are crooked. Just wish I had went with someone else. Do not use Sunburst Landscaping.

AJ and the Sunburst CREW did a amazing job of our backyard project! Outdoor design is NOT in my wheelhouse .....YET AJ was professional and knowledgeable and he helped me the BEST product for our family and my husband and I could not be HAPPIER with the end result! Our turf turned out better than we could ever imagine. Thanks to Karlan we love our lawn and they have a great staff. Francisco and the crew were so polite and did such a fantastic job and left everything so clean. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent customer service. No pressure consultation. Super easy to work with. Very professional. What impressed me the most was the inclusion of liability insurance proof at the consultation. Speedy instillation. We will for sure use them again when we finish our yard.

Sunburst did a fantastic job removing the old lawn and replacing with new. They leveled everything out, it met up perfectly with our existing pavers and travertine. They were very clean! That’s all we could ask for. Would use and recommend to anyone.

I had worked with Mark on a quote and design. He really came through and explained what he loved about their EZ Turf product. It feels super soft and looks seemless. They did an amazing job laying pavers, and irrigation in the back yard. I did have one issue with the irrigation, but it seemed to be something from the original builder and Sunburst replaced the valve for free. Not only did they do a great job, but they got the job done in about 3-4 days. They moved quickly! This is a family oriented company, and I will definitely be using them for any landscaping projects in the future. I can’t recommend them enough!
