I called Anthony James Air Conditioning & Heating because of their excellent reviews.
I was looking to replace my older units with Trane. When I called, Anthony (the owner) picked up the phone. I explained what my goals were. We made an appointment with his brother Alex. Alex was on time for the appointment, very polite and professional. Alex was very responsive and knowledgeable. The quote was reasonable with no hidden fees. Alex showed up with the installation crew on time. They installed the units quickly and the cleanup was exceptional. Alex and his brothers were polite and respectful. I would recomend Anthony James Air Conditioning without hesitation. Ask for Alex - you will not be disappointed. I have been around the block a few times and this company does business better than the old fashion way!

The installation of my new HVAC system went flawlessly. They showed up on time with a crew of five finished quickly and left zero mess. I was given a thorough instruction. All that was promised was delivered. Completely professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them

This company is absolutely AMAZING! We were told they would be at our house at 6 am to install our new AC Unit. 6 am on the dot my doorbell rings and outside were 4 custom vans full of equipment and man power to complete the Job. They were finished by noon and the workmanship was clean and meticulous. The price was even better. I have been raving about this company to everyone. You won't be disappointed.

5 STARS! I hired Anthony James AC to install the new Bosch 19 seer Rooftop package unit. Self admittedly, I am a perfectionist. No worries as Anthony and his brothers did a perfect job and cut no corners. Their prices were very fair as well. I can't recommend them enough!

Anthony James AC just completed a complete installation of new Heating & AC Units at our home.

There was a design hurdle with the AC Units as the old units were placed too close to the exterior walls of our home. They came up with a great solution by changing to side discharge condensing units in lieu of the normal top discharge condensers.

The day of installation, all four brothers: Anthony, Alex, Richie and Josh came to perform the work. These guys are all extremely personable, professional, neat & clean - a real team.

We couldn't be happier with our new AC & Heating system.

We decided not to take a chance on our 23 year old units this coming summer and took the time this winter to meet with different companies for estimates. We have been using Anthony James AC and Heating for maintenance of our old units for many years and hoped they would have a good price so that we could give them our business for the new units. Richie did a thorough job exploring our duct work and pointing out what needed to be changed so that the new units would work efficiently. He provided us with three options. Sure enough, their prices were competitive and included a multi-year maintenance program, which the other companies did not. Once we signed the contract, our job was scheduled quickly. We got our new AC this morning, and we wanted to totally rave about A&J AC. From the moment we reached out to them asking for a spring cleaning service, the communication was extraordinary. Completely transparent. Gave us options and even made sure we were confident in our decision to replace. They explained the differences in units in layman's terms. Never once did we feel pressured. They were patient every step of the way, answering all questions. The scheduling was easy. They were prompt, efficient, friendly, professional, organized, and overall great humans. They cleaned up and were great about accommodating the needs of our psycho dog. It can be stressful investing in such a large purchase, but we are confident in this company and the product.

These guys are great! I have been using them for eight years. Always on time, very professional and knowledgeable. Of course the first 100 degree day in Phoenix my air conditioner went down. They were able to fit me in that same day to look at it. It was over 10 years old so time for a new one. They were able to get me in a day later for the new one. Showed up on time, installed the new unit, a second air handler etc. If you need a new unit or someone to service your current unit, these guys are the best. I have used lots of other companies and none of them compare to Anthony James.

Each year we schedule a 'tune up' with Anthony James - Alex is our guy for each of those visits. Professional, knowledgeable, personable.

Great customer service. I was out of town and my son said our a/c was not working late Saturday night. I contacted them through their website and had someone at my house by 7:30 am. They emailed me an invoice and I was able to pay online. Will definitely use Anthony James again.

One of our AC units stopped working and Anthony James AC helped us try some fixes via text. When those didn’t work, they accurately predicted it was a blown fuse. They had a tech out within 30 minutes who efficiently replaced both the blown fuse and its unblown partner - a level of care that I very much appreciated. Friendly, fast, efficient, and effective service - what more could one ask for? Note: our system is still under warranty and there was no charge.

Good at A/C stuff bad at thermostats. This experience was rough boys.

I Had paid for a thermostat to get installed but originally I wanted them to use their own equipment obviously for warranty reasons.

The guy had 2 Sensi thermostats that didn't work so we were forced to use mine from Amazon.

Now that mine is giving me issues I had the company (Sensi) send me an upgraded unit to me house at no charge but these guys want to charge me for another service visit to install it.

Keep in mind the Sensi customer service support told me the C-wire voltage might not be where it needs to be so that's why I'm having all these issues to where my thermostat falls offline and continues to go through premium batteries like it's nothing. I've had to replace the batteries 3 times in 4 months.

The old thermostat never had this issue.

Edit: After noticing their reply I have to call them out on more stuff.

1) Buddy my name is Alan, not Allen. Can you not see it on the screen? It shows your attention to detail level.

2) The A/C was working fine when you arrived, you even complimented the temperature in the house since it's always in the 60's.

3) We agreed to pay you $404 to install your thermostat but you failed to admit you BROUGHT 2 DEFECTIVE UNITS that did not work.

4) Sensi customer service sent me a free thermostat, when I didn't even buy it from them. That's real customer service. Not you trying to get another 'truck roll' fee out of me for a subpar job where they are saying your C-Wire wasn't properly installed.

5) If you want to continue this we'll go to the BBB & small claims court. :) I have copies of all communication as I keep very accurate records and I don't misspell your name like you did mine.

These guys are a Class Act! Four Brothers running a business, not some stuffy Corporate America over-priced joke. Loyal to their customer base, on-time, honest. We had AnthonyJames Air perform seasonal AC Checkup. Strongly recommend you do the same! Josh stated we only need to do it once annually in early March; whereas, the corporate America people want your $$$ 2Xs a year. Now, that’s what I call integrity!

Just an FYI here. Because this company is so loyal to their customer base, it’s really tough to become a new customer of theirs in the hot boiling summer. They don’t always have the bandwidth to service broken down units when it’s 117° unless it’s for an existing client! Which is another reason why the preventive maintenance is strongly recommended.

We have used Anthony James Air Conditioning for several years now. From repairing our old units, to installing our new ones, to servicing them, they have always been professional and friendly. Their response time is awesome. Each time we have had a unit down they were able to get here quickly and get the problem fixed. We highly recommend them.

We had called Anthony James A/C & Heating to get a second opinion. Richie was the Technician that came to our house .
I am so glad I called them. They were very prompt when they arrived to diagnose our problem. Richie was very professional, and didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need (unlike the first Co.)
Richie even explained to us what we needed which was pretty much on point to the first Company.
Only he was here 30min the other Company was at our home 3 1/2 hours trying to explain the same diagnose but telling us we needed more work than we actually did.
The first Company even wanted over $2 grand more to do the exact same job!
I would highly recommend Anthony James A/C & Heating . From the first phone call I made to schedule the appointment they were very professional, to Richie coming out explaining how they would do the job again very professional, personable, just not trying to nickel and dime us.
Then when they came to do the job again professional , clean and the job was done in two hours .
The first Company told us 4 -5 hours and he added they would clean up their mess. Well one would hope so since you’re the ones doing the install.

So glad I made the call for another opinion and found a company so honest!

EXCELLENT INSTALL! Richie and his crew knocked it out of the park today. Showed up at 6am and completed everything by 10 am. The install was so clean that I can't wait to send them referrals!
