Very easy to make an appointment. Alex, the tech let us know his ETA and was on time. Service was completed in a good time frame, with Alex explaining some things to me about our ductwork and their testing. I am very happy, have already recommended 1st AirCo, and will continue to use them.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Trevor and his team at 1st Airco to replace my 30 year old unit. From the beginning Trevor was incredibly responsive and professional. On install day everyone arrived right on time as communicated! All of the technicians working that day were respectful of my home , worked diligently to replace my unit. Lastly, they did a great job cleaning up and made sure everything worked as it should before leaving ! I cannot recommend them enough l! A/C companies are a dime a dozen in Phoenix, Good ones are rare! If your in need of A/C services don’t go looking any further than 1st Airco!

Had my AC stop blowing cold air at a very unfortunate timing (first week it was 100 every day). Was recommended by family to give them a call and very happy with the recommendation. Alex came out and assessed the situation promptly and was able to fix the issue in 30 minutes. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. They communicate well and didn’t try to upsell, just did what was needed to fix the problem and provide knowledge on the health of the unit.

Alex came to service and repair my AC and I have NEVER had better service from anyone, in any industry. He is knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. He explains everything thoroughly and quickly resolved the problem I knew I had and then repaired a massive air leak which I didn't know I had. Wonderful experience with this company! I called at noon today and a service representative showed up 30 minutes later. He quickly resolved the problem….a mouse had chewed the wires in my compressor. My service representative couldn’t have been any nicer…. I told him that his mother would be proud of how helpful he was to this 72 year old woman on her own!

I have been a customer for several years, I have referred them to many of my friends and associates. Friendly technicians and office staff. Unfortunately, I required a major service near the $3000 mark under a year ago. The part failed, I am not unreasonable person I know things go wrong. What I did not expect was to be left high and dry when things got tough and mistakes were made.

It is unfortunate to be met with such hostility from the ownership. I am without a doubt deeply hurt by the treatment and lack of compassion and more importantly accountability.

I just had to tell how amazing from 1st Airco Heating and Cooling technician Alexwas today. Even on a sweltering day on the roof, he jumped in without hesitation, especially when our refrigerant line had fully leaked due to a loose wire rubbing on the coil, making it 99 degrees in the house. Alex diagnosed the issue right away, brazed and sealed the copper line, recharged the unit, and worked quickly, obviously mindful of how hot it was
inside with all the kids (those red cheeks told the story!). When he was done, he even surprised them with ice cream from the ice cream truck 🍦.

I can’t express how much this meant to our family. Alex and your whole company truly embody love, kindness, and humanity in their work. You're a rare gem in customer service. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We were long-time customers of the previous owner and always received excellent service. When Trevor took over 1st Air Co in 2017, we were hopeful the same level of customer care would continue.

In 2022, our AC unit needed to be replaced, and 1st Air Co installed a new system. For the first three years, everything worked fine. However, last week the unit stopped cooling properly. Trevor and his team came out four times to try to resolve the issue, and we appreciated that they didn’t charge us for those visits.

Unfortunately, the problem persists. Despite the thermostat being set to 76 degrees, our home remains around 80 degrees in the afternoons and evenings, and the unit runs constantly. Trevor has since told us there’s nothing more he can do.

Seeking a second opinion, we contacted six other HVAC companies. Two technicians visited our home and thoroughly inspected the ductwork, refrigerant levels, condenser, and coils. All of them concluded that the unit installed by 1st Air Co is undersized for the square footage of our home.

Despite this, 1st Air Co has refused to take responsibility or offer a solution. While their office staff has been friendly, Trevor has declined to provide a quote for the correct unit size and has stopped responding to our calls and texts. We’re not asking for anything free—we simply wanted a fair resolution and the opportunity to pay for the right equipment.

It’s extremely disappointing and unprofessional for a business owner to ignore a customer and refuse to address an issue caused by their own installation.

Do yourself a favor—look elsewhere for your HVAC needs.

The issue at hand is not about who paid for the unit—it’s that the unit installed was the wrong size. Any reputable business should be willing to acknowledge when a mistake has been made, as errors do happen. We simply hoped that Trevor would take responsibility for the incorrect installation and work with us toward a fair resolution, including replacing the unit with the correct size.

As for the multiple service visits, they would not have been necessary had the installation been done correctly from the beginning. While we appreciate that these visits were provided at no charge, they were only required to address problems resulting from the initial improper installation. Specifically, the thermostat and blower motor were replaced in an attempt to resolve the issue of the AC unit not cooling our entire home. Unfortunately, even after those replacements, the problem persisted. We initially paid $289 for the thermostat, but when it became clear that it was not the root of the issue, the amount was refunded.

At no point have we requested complimentary services. We have always been willing to pay for the work performed, and we take issue with any suggestion to the contrary. Misrepresenting our intentions is both unfair and inaccurate.

Incredible service! Super great pricing on service agreements. They have much more competitive pricing than anyone else I looked into. They identified two issues that I didn’t even know about and offered reasonable and honest solutions to fix them. Guys are very communicative and respectful of my time.

Alex from 1st Air came out this morning to to do a check up on our system before we needed to use the heat this winter. He was very thorough and explained in full detail about the condition of our unit. I was so impressed with this company I arranged for them to come out twice a year to check it. It was easy to schedule, received a reminder text, and were on time for the appointment. Plus my entry way to the attic was cleaner after he left than when he came. Bravo!! I will recommend your company to all my friends. Thank you!

Second time I had 1sr Air conduct the maintenance on my unit. Alex was extremely detailed and professional and went thru all the parts and what to look for. Alexander hopped up on the roof and was done in a timely manner. Both guys were just awesome. They did see that a minor part needed replacing. Fantastic company and phenomenal service. HIGHLY recommend.

I got an electric bill for $1011 and just about had a heart attack. I called 1st Air because they had installed a Google Nest thermostat on 5/2 and my air hasn't shut off since then. When Alex came today, he explained that one of the valves in my compressor has broken and since my unit is a 1979, they can't get a new or even a used one. 1st Air is going to work with me as much as possible to get the cost down and get one installed ASAP. I recommend 1st Air to everyone. They are a wonderful company and have excellent employees, techs, etc.

I've been a customer for several years. I recently had to replace my system. I got several quotes and I ended up staying with First Airco. Their proposal was well done. Gave me options and informed me of the tax credit available.
The installation went well. I am pleased with my new system.
