I inherited house this year that came with a lot of deferred maintenance. Particularly in the electrical department. I needed a panel replacement, I had several broken outlets, I needed outlets added, I needed two bathroom exhaust fans retrofitted/installed and I wanted to upgrade to GFCI outlets where necessary. Initially I was going to have PlumbSmart do this work. They completed some plumbing work and had electricians on staff. However I fired them. Their electrician was terrible. I found Simple Electric on Reddit. They have completed most of the work I listed above. I have found the office staff to be pleasant and responsive. Their quote for these projects was very fair. Sean was the main electrician for these projects. He was so kind. I recommend Simple Electric to anyone who wants an honest electrician.

I required a panel replacement/upgrade and repairs from storm damage earlier this summer. Simple Electric was more reasonably priced and easier to work with than a previous larger valley wide company I have used for other projects.

They were amazing to work with and even though the power utility company was as a nightmare to coordinate and many errors were made on their part, Simple Electric kept me in power and safe for the two months it took to get all the approvals and permits and inspections aligned to get the work done.

Shawn and Jeff were especially great. They were very thorough and knowledgeable from the bidding process all the way through to the work being completed, including several emergency temporary ’band-aids’ that were required until all the work could be completed.

Bree was awesome in her coordination and follow up with me, the utility company and the electricians.

I highly recommend Simple Electric. Even though the process took several more months to complete than expected due to the utility company delays, they went above and beyond to make sure I had power, the house was safe and kept the lights on until all the work was as done.

Mitch was a great Electrician to work with! I had a home inspection done and Mitch found an inaccuracy in the report which referred to my exterior RV outlet “as a 240v that didn’t go to ground” but said it was actually a 120v/ 30amp that was installed and functions correctly . We had a partial remodel done on our 1940’s house 4 years ago but one wall still had old wiring to (3) outlets which didn’t go to ground but Mitch swapped out the outlets with GFI to satisfy this instead of me opening up walls to run new wire. Well done Mitch! Super good dude too!

We just bought a home and we are doing some remodel. We called simple electric and they were quick to schedule. The tech Jeff was friendly and knowledgeable and made it very easy for us.

Recently had Stephen Gmeich and crew at Simple Electric do extensive electrical work at our house: new electric connections for mini-split AC units, a new electric car charger, and new electric outlets for television above fireplace, new led lights in the garage and other other work. They are excellent-- hard workers who are very respectful of the house, skilled at what they do, and showed great concern for all issues. Highly recommend over the "big chain" electricians.

I needed an outlet installed in my garage. I got an immediate response from Ash and he scheduled a tech to come out the next morning. Shawn arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done. He then arranged his schedule to do the work the same day. I am very impressed with this company and especially Shawn. I'm having him back in a couple of days to install another outlet.

Had multiple electricians by before Stephen with Simple Electric and really didn’t have great service or experience. Stephen was honest, straightforward and quick! Had our ceiling fan and new wire done with him for a more than fair price! Thank you again! Would highly recommend this company and electrician to anyone in need!

Sean was very punctual showed up right on time , did excellent work. I was very easy to talk too And answered all my questions seemed very knowledgeable with the installation process., And cleaned up like no one was here.His helper didn’t seem to have a clue, I assume he was pretty newbut he showed him different things that he didn’t know would definitely use Shawn again .

Steven came out to provide an electrical estimate, and out of the three electricians we met with, he was the only one who took the time to go the extra mile. He actually looked above our drop ceiling to understand what was behind the tiles instead of just guessing. That level of thoroughness really stood out.

On top of that, Steven was polite, kind, and very courteous throughout the visit. His professionalism and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence in his work. Because of Steven’s commitment and expertise, we’ll be hiring Simple Electric. He’s a true tradesman.

I’ve been calling on Simple Electric for small jobs around my house, like installing lights and dimmer switches, for several years now. They are always quick to respond to my requests and they show up on time. The work has always been completed to my satisfaction, and at a reasonable price.

Richard Thomas was fantastic. Helped us understand what we needed, show us how to work all new stuff. Worked quickly and efficiently. Would absolutely have him come back in the future.

Update: We had Mr, Electric (Zach and Jim) out to do some additional emergency work after our great experience last time. They were quick, friendly, and we will use them again in the future!

Richard did an excellent job. He was prompt and very skilled. He did the work in the estimated time and verified all the lights worked properly. He was clean and didn't leave a mess. This guy was great and so was the company. I highly recommend.

It was a hot day, but I appreciate Zach's persistence in finding a "hidden" burnt out plug in my circuit to help get the lights back on.

No one really enjoys having the need to have electrical work done in one’s home – the aggravation, time consuming and can be costly, but there comes a time when you just don’t have a choice! On many occasionss exorbitantly expensive – and on many an occasion you may not have a choice. An important and utterly necessary product in our home needed replacing – all five of our smoke/carbon monoxide detectors went out, almost to their date of expiration, ten years. While at it, we brought our ten-year-old home to code and add safety by also installing an air conditioner and main breaker box to code with surge protectors. To my surprise, not all electricians do this type of work! On another occasion recently we needed re-installed a nearly ten foot high, nine pendant lamp chandelier that we had re-constructed and updated – perfect job! After careful due diligence, and the help of both Google and Yelp reviews we settled on one. Mr. Electric. Our choice of electrician was excellent. We’re glad we chose them. These folks have been around since 1994, and they show it through their professional, with knowledge and expertise in the field. They are responsive, timely and considerate. Although electrical work at home that you can count on is not cheap, they softened the blow with their being conscientious, courteous and thorough. They’re highly recommended… their Technician Ryan was excellent on both his visits… they’re now on our speed dial.

I want to thank my electrician Luis for the time he spent determining the electrical issues on the home I purchased. He was on time and explained everything he did as he fixed the doorbell, installed surge protectors and fixed a problem at the meter outside. I would definitely recommend him. I found Mr. Electric to have good communication on the various jobs they did across the 3 visits.

I called Mr. Electric twice in the last couple of months. Zach installed (replaced) 3 flood lights and fixed a dimmer switch, while Ryan performed a ballast bypass so I could convert to tube LED without also replacing the ballast. Both workers were friendly, polite, and respectful, arrived on time, and did excellent work. Both also cleaned up thoroughly, which included taking old fixtures, ballast, etc., with them and leaving no garbage behind.
