Horrible. I would give negative stars,, if i could. Super expensive. One of the maids stole $300. The manager let me know "that when this happens" the money is usually found...implying that this happens often.
My house wasn't cleaned the way we agreed. It was supposed to be a deep clean and it was barely a regular cleaning. It took 3 days in sessions of a few hours, because one person kept leaving. One of the cleaners went to the bathroom downstairs for 45 minutes, and the whole downstairs smelled horrible, and she didn't even clean the bathroom she used. I spend about $1000 + $300 (that was stolen) to have a kind of clean house and a lot of frustration. The owner took off the 45 minutes, when the lady was in the bathroom, she gave me a $42 credit and sent me a check (that I haven't seen yet) for $100. They claim that the cleaner didn't steal $300, because they asked her. I wish I had NEVER used their services. It was a wretched experience. I paid a lot for an agreed upon service, that i didn't get.Oh, I offered to let them make it right before I wrote a review and they clearly didn't. I couldn't be more disappointed and I'm out $1000, after it was all said and done.

I am so disappointed. I was so excited for Merry Maids to come out and clean. I had used them years ago, and they were just amazing.

I spent months organizing my house in preparation for a deep clean from Merry Maids. I saved and scheduled my appointment. We scheduled 2 people for 6 hours, for a deep clean.

The day arrived and 2 ladies came to my home, Sonja and Nicole. Casey came over to the home to let me know that it would actually need to be 2 days with 6 hours each day...a total of 24 hrs man power (2 people for 12 hours total). I agreed and Casey left.

At one point Nicole needed to use the restroom. She was in the bathroom for about 40 minutes and my entire downstairs smelled horrible. I had poopourri in the bathroom, a febrezze spay and a fan. She didn't use any of them and she didn't clean the bathroom after she used it. Shortly after this Nicole had to leave. It was only part way into the 6 hours. I noticed a lot of things were done poorly, like wiping fans and baseboards, dusting etc. It turns out those were the things Nicole had done.

Sonja stayed and redid these things. Sonja was just awesome, BTW.

So, the second day arrives and Nicole and Sonja come over again, but this time Nicole came took payment (cash) and immediately left. She did no cleaning.

Here's the worst part. After she left I realized that $300 was missing out of my wallet. The only person that was near it was Nicole. It was by my front door and when Mona came over to pick Nicole up, she had access to my purse and saw me put money into my wallet when, I paid her. I also have a recording on my ring doorbell of her putting something in her apron pocket after she passed my purse and went outside.

I sent this footage to Casey (assistant manager) upon her request. Later she let me know that she asked Nicole if she took and Nicole said no. I can't believe she would just expect her to admit to that. I never expected someone to steal from me, but that was my own  naivity, I suppose. I should have been more careful. I am still shocked and upset, none the less.

The third day (it turned into 3 days), Sonja came alone and finished cleaning. As stated she was amazing and did a great job. However, this was a two person job (6 hours each day) and it's awful that she had to do it alone. She did her best, but a lot of attention to detail was missed due lack to time and man power.

I paid for a lot of extras, in addition to the deep cleaning and a lot of them didn't happen.

I even cleaned with Sonja on the second and third day. The whole point was for me not to clean.

So, I didn't get what I asked for. I didn't get what I paid for. Money was stolen from me, which makes me feel sick. My entire downstairs smelled horrible while getting it my home cleaned. Nicole did close to nothing and stole from me and I still have a lot to clean, myself, even though I paid close to $1000.00.

I gave Casey the chance to make this right before I wrote a review, but she simply didn't make it right.

I was so excited for Merry Maids to come and it ended up being an expensive nightmare.

I just wanted a clean house :(

1st, there was a miscommunication with the date they were supposed to arrive. I thought it was Wed. but after I called thinking the maids were late they said they had me scheduled for Thurs..... OK maybe my fault...... Well it is Thursday now. I called at 9:30 am and asked when the maids would be arriving. I was told between 12-1 pm. Perfect! 1pm rolls by..... no maids. I call at 1:45 pm and "they are running late, they will be there soon." Finally at 2:30 pm they are at my house. I am not happy since I have altered my day to send my child to daycare to make sure she is out of the house while the cleaning is happening. They do their walk-though and call in to the manager. Apparently 2 hours and 45 min ($290) will not cut it they need 4 hours for $460. Well considering most furniture has been removed and all the clutter is gone I am not totally sure why the quote i got on the phone was so different than the one in person. I personally cleaned the floors, the kitchen and all the bedrooms yesterday when they were "not coming" since our house is now listed to sell and is supposed to start showing any minute. Might I add that all carpets were professionally cleaned on Tuesday so they didn't need to do that. They have now been here an hour and I will post what the results were. But so far the experience has been not up to par with the price.

Merry Maids of Phoenix are reliable, thorough, trustworthy and very pleasant. They do a fantastic cleaning job. My home “sparkles” when they finish their job. I have two full baths, 3 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining room plus a large indoor porch. They finished in under 3 hours. I have them come in once a month and my home stays clean and bright.

I am in absolute awe of Azul of Merrymaids this day !
I was not feeling well & had to stay in bed.
When I got up later in the day & came out into my home I felt like I had just entered a 4-Star Hotel...everything looked brand new & sparkled !
Periodically when I would waken I could hear Azul working & I knew she was doing above & beyond !
I am so thankful foe Azul & Merrymaids & will always ask for her by name 🌺

Chelsea ALWAYS does a great job, no matter who her assistant(s) is, or even when she cleaned by herself. She listens to any concerns or suggestions and makes sure to keep them in mind for future visits. The office staff is also always very helpful and accommodating. Thank you all for continuing to do a great job for us!

Great cleaning teams. Very pleased with their work. Have been using Merry Maids for over twenty-five years. Reliable, thorough and the teams are always very pleasant and do quality work. Even in these scary times, they are extra careful with masks and gloves and continue to do an outstanding job.

Mindi and Deb did a fantastic thorough job on a not so clean apt. I was amazed with the results.. Felt like a new place again. They were kind and accommodating to my personal needs. I will request them upon my next needs from Merry Maids.

I will never hire the neighborhood cleaning lady again. Yes, she was cheaper, but I don't like having to clean what I paid her to do after she left. Merry Maids came in as scheduled, did a superb cleaning of my home, listened to direction when given, and even wore masks and gloves the whole time. Worth every penny.

Ii signed up for assistance through " cleaning for a cause", because I am no longer able to perform my activities of daily living ,so my housekeeping has suffered greatly. I was lucky to have the opportunity to have Merry Maids of Glendale come to my rescue! Stephanie and Francis were both friendly, and professional. They wasted no time and completed their tasks leaving my home sparkling and fresh!

My home looks amazing after Merry Maids team came in to clean. My baseboards look great, the shower and entire restroom is spotless, clean windows, dusting is on point, floors, vacuumed sofas and the kitchen look amazing! I am a very happy customer! Thank you Merry Maids!

The thing we liked MOST about Merry Maids is your customer service. Trisha Tully was MAGNIFICENT!!! She was kind, patient, accomodating and understanding. She was what helped us know that Merry Maids was the right cleaning company for us because she was THE MOST professional company representative! The cleaning crew was great too! They did an outstanding job. MERRY MAIDS IS BY FAR THE BEST CLEANING SERVICE EVER!!!!

Damari and the other woman who came to clean my 1 bedroom apartment were exceptionally thorough and and did a wonderful job cleaning out my old apartment. They took care in every room they cleaned, and left my old place ready for the next tenants to move into! It’s a little pricey (only because I needed to extend my time a bit outside of the normal window I was given), but honestly the work these women put into it was well worth it. I may have found my go-to cleaning service. Thank you Merry Maids!

Horrible. Absolutely the worst experience and I will never use this company again. If you want your house clean find someone else who will actually do the work you paid for.

We are in the process of selling our house, and I thought it would be nice to have “professional” cleaners come in and tidy the place up. The appointment was scheduled for Monday (5/13) and the cleaners were supposed to be there for five hours. They left a hour and a half early, which at the time I didn’t think much of it. Once I arrived to look at the “work” done I found the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed, the kitchen floor hadn’t been swept or mopped, the kitchen cabinets that I paid extra for were not cleaned.. which left me wondering what they actually did for the time they were actually there. On the plus the managed to clean the fridge and oven but even those had soap stains.

I called and told Maria what I previously mentioned and she assured someone else would come out and clean up what was missed. They would come out Tuesday morning to get this taken care of. Tuesday afternoon I go to the house and find again the kitchen floor hasn’t been swept or mopped, and the cabinets haven’t been cleaned. I paid $450 for these services... I shouldn’t have to check their work or follow up repeatedly to get the services I am paying for.

I called Maria on Tuesday night and advised I didn’t want them to come back. I would clean the remaining items myself as I can’t keep stopping potential buyers from looking at the house because they can’t do the job I hired them for. Oh yes, to add insult to the whole situation we had folks wanting to look at our house but because of them we had to turn them down. Their response to this whole situation was we will take $45.00 off the total bill.

At the end of the day I paid a total of $405 and I get to go to my house and clean the cabinets, sweep and mop the kitchen floor when I hired them to take care of this for me. $45 dollars doesn’t even cover the hassle of dealing with this nonsense. I shouldn’t have to stand over you to get things completed. The items I paid for were on the contract I signed... apparently giving their maids a list of things to do is hard. Let’s see if I even get the $45 back because their work ethic wasn’t honest, how could anything else be?

I first heard about Merry Maids when I was nominated for free cleaning services they were providing for Healthcare workers during the Corona virus pandemic. I knew right away this is a company that cares about the community and they confirmed this when they came to my house and provided outstanding service. I have used their services once again, and I was not disappointed. The staff assigned to me was professional, on time, and service was excellent. I have a lot on my plate on a daily basis, and Merry Maids gave me a sense of relief in knowing my home was cleaned with care.

Communicating with Merry Maids is easy and Mona is very responsive. Christy and Robert are wonderful. They are efficient and thorough. They are personable and a pleasure to have in our home. Wonderful to come home to fresh and clean house!
