We had a huge yard redesign that we wanted to have done. We contacted Dave Goodman and he was at our home within a day! He had great ideas, the plans were very detailed and his crews were awesome!!! Our yard is beautiful!!! It’s a desert oasis!!! Bo keeps us informed of any issues and the response time with any problems is quick! The ladies on the inside are awesome! They respond quickly and with smiles!! We will continue to use Goodman’s…and highly recommend them!!!

I've been a client of Goodman's Landscape Maintenance now for over a decade. In that time, I have had crew after crew come and perform the landscaping maintenance I am no longer able to complete by myself.

Neighbors and strangers alike ask, Who did such a terrific job on your landscaping? "Goodman's!" is always my reply.

Today was no different. I had a new team, Mario and Jason performing. Their attention to detail was great. Everything I discussed with them up-front was executed flawlessly.

Goodman's has provided us with excellent desert landscaping services for many years. We especially appreciate our current crew--they are efficient, responsive, responsible, and reliable. On several occasions, they have identified and fixed problems before we recognized them. They have done an outstanding job maintaining the trees on our property. Matt and his crew recently came out to trim our trees in preparation for monsoon season, and they did a terrific job. The trees look fantastic—healthy, balanced, and beautifully shaped. Before leaving, they made sure everything was cleaned up thoroughly. The property looked manicured and spotless, which we truly appreciated.

We also want to recognize Gideon and his regular crew, who come twice a month to care for our shrubs and cactus. Our landscape has never looked better. Everything is neatly trimmed, healthy, and thriving.

A special mention goes to Bo, the team leader, who is a true pro. He isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty and personally jumps in to fix things that need attention. That kind of pride and care in his work really sets the team apart.

Behind the scenes, Amanda is always responsive and friendly, making scheduling and communication a breeze.

All in all, we highly recommend Goodmans Landscaping. They’re professional, reliable, and deliver excellent results every time.

We loved working with Goodmans. They made everything so easy. We had a general idea of what we wanted for our whole yard renovation, but they helped us create a plan that fit inside our budget and was easy to maintain. Joe and is crew were great. Demo and construction were quick and smooth. We would recommend them to anyone redoing their landscape.

Amanda & Teaira in the front office are so responsive, enthusiastic & friendly. Bill, who did my initial consult, is the most knowledgeable expert you could imagine. He knows every type of plant, tree & flower; it was like talking to a professor of botany.
Goodman’s fantastic team put in new Winter grass — I’ve never felt any grass like it, it’s incredibly soft and beautiful. Our guinea pig is enjoying it immensely!

Goodman's did a great job with our landscaping work and I would highly recommend them. They are clearly experts in Arizona landscaping and I would trust them with any future job. Cory helped us with the best plant selections for our needs, and has been responsive and very helpful with any questions or concerns that have come up and addressed them promptly. It's nice to have the peace of mind that they will help guide you through things even after planting is finished to ensure the best quality result.

Lone Star has done an outstanding job again! I would highly recommend them. Very professional from start to finish and great to work with. Thier team has great communication and kept me in the loop during the whole process.

I normally never bother to write reviews, but I have to share what was the worst customer service experience I've ever had to warn others of how they may get treated.

In April 2018, I paid in full for Chris to put together plans for my rather large back yard. Contacting him is an extreme pain - do not bother calling their business number as you will get connected with someone who seems like they could care less about your concerns. I emailed Chris roughly 15 times over the past 5 months and called countless times to try to get updates on blown deadlines, which there were 4 of them and countless excuses.

He eventually agreed to come meet at my house to try to right things and talk details of the plan, which came out to be incorrect twice (probably because there was such a long gap between the meeting and when he sent me the next drawing).

Finally in September of 2018, after missing the deadline for the 'final plan' twice, he sends me a drawing with no dimensions, no renderings, no estimates, and no water/power/gas line configurations like I had asked for. When I asked him about it - the drawing is 'to scale'. Now nobody can do any work without converting the plot plans to what a PDF hopefully correctly converts tiny measurements to.

All of this to say, I highly warn anyone who doesn't have money in hand (do not pay in full before the job is done, or this may happen to you too) for a specific job and dimensions ready to go to work with Lone Star. They really need to work on their communication and committing to promises. I am now out almost $2,000 with no workable plan. I am hoping they will now bother to call me and correct this imbalance.

We have a small backyard that needed some major work, we are so glad that we hired Chris with Lonestar landscaping. This is definitely a company I would recommend!! He had a great idea for the layout of our yard and six months later it still looks great.

I hired the guys from Lanestar to do clean up in my yard. They did a great job and went above and beyond. They cleaned everything up and trimmed several trees and bushes. Yard looked great. It was very reasonable price for amount of work they did. It saved me a couple days off well worth the price.

Will defiantly use them again.

We used Lone Star Landscaping AZ for a complete redo of our backyard and we are so glad we went with this company. There are many things that impressed us, especially the friendliness and professionalism of the personnel and the ability to translate our ideas into viable results. For example we found a fire pit online that we liked, and they were able to simply take the photo and build it exactly as we requested. They also solved a problem with our pool that others had been unable to address. We added extensive hardscape including pavers, planters and a large barbeque. This was an important project for us, and the quality of the work done exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a high quality result and friendly, professional interactions this is the place.

Lone Star just finished my project today. The work is exceptional. I had a long 3' x 40' elevated planter. They removed all of the old plants (which were overgrown and a mismatch of a mess) and placed new plants, a new water line, and granite. Couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend.

Always a great company to work with! The staff has done extensive work for me at my home and results are what keep bringing me back.

We wanted a whole backyard makeover... new walls around pool equipment, gazebo structure, improvements to the pool, new grass, sprinklers, lamp posts, etc. Not only did LSL help communicate and guide us through this process, they came in on budget and on time, too. The results still get ooohhh and ahhhhs from my friends that come to visit and the yard (some 5 years after construction on the back yard was done) still holds up REALLY well, unlike so many "I did it myself" projects tend to do.
I have been able to ask the staff for advice and small follow-ups here and there over the years and have hired them on numerous times to upgrade this, and install new that. It's always done with a friendly smile and capable crew.

The latest project was for some pavers in the front yard. The HOA rejected the proposal at first - seeking more information. The communication between LSL and myself was easy, drama free, and successfully completed in short order. The work done was - as expected - on time, clean, professional, and on budget.

These guys are not the cheapest, less expensive guys in town, but they provide an amazing value. In the numerous projects I have had them run for me, I have never heard drama or observed missed time frames like so many contractors do. I never hear "Well so-and-so's truck wouldn't start, so we had to move your job to next week..." kind of stuff. Always heard "We will be there tomorrow at 7am".... and you can almost set your watch!

These guys are MY guys... so please don't hire them.... I want them all to myself!

I would not hesitate to use this contractor again. The group of masons who laid my pavers worked well as a team and they stayed until the job was complete and clean. They use high quality material and also make sure that any drainage issues are addressed before installation begins. They did a real nice job on my front patio flagstone also. Highly recommend.

We moved into our house about a year ago and both the front and back yards really needed help. I met with Chris at Lonestar and I really appreciated his level of knowledge and collaboration to plan and then create a truly beautiful end result. Once we took out all of the overgrown plants and a few diseased trees, we had somewhat of a blank slate. Chris proposed a lot of mounding, boulders and specimens that ended up looking like a gorgeous botanical garden! It is a fantastic end result that we enjoy on a daily basis. We not only did landscaping, but also hardscape. Our bland little concrete patio was extended and transformed with travertine pavers and a custom BBQ island.

I have worked with other landscapers and Lonestar is the best by far. Great design, exceptional knowledge of both plants and hardscape and a crew that shows up on time, works hard and cleans up when they are done. I would recommend Lonestar with 100 percent certainty!

Working with Lone Star Landscaping was a great experience. We had our backyard transformed and it has been so enjoyable for our young daughter and our dogs! We love the work that was done and are so happy we went with Lone Star Landscaping for our backyard redesign.

These guys remodeled our entire backyard and built a pergola for us. Did an amazing job. Great quality and customer service. My neighbor recommended them to us after they built her a new pool. They can do it all. Really good people to work with. Chris is very creative.

Starting with the estimate process, Chris at Lonestar was transparent in setting up what we could expect from the company from pricing to quality to timing. What I liked most was that he stuck to just what we wanted and only suggested upgrades to specific items when there was a meaningful value add to our project. Because of this, of the 3 estimates we got, it was both the lowest price and best value for what we were looking to accomplish.

There was a short time where we felt a lack of communication between when we paid our scheduling deposit and actually getting on the schedule. The reality is, there's no perfect way to predict when one job ends and the next begins and once we expressed concern over the lack of communication, they were quick to keep us up to date on when our project would start.

The end result is really phenomenal for what we paid. The minor adjustments we asked for after the work was done were taken care of within a day. We got more done for less money than another local landscaper had already done in our yard, and we will certainly reach out to Lone Star first when it's time to do more work.

Lonestar Landscaping did exceptionally on a paver job that they recently completed on my garage driveway and half circle driveway. It looked as good as the picture that I saw online of one of their previous projects which is why I contacted them for the job. My neighbors stop at our corner when they see me to compliment the update. One even worded it as "breathtaking". The guys are diligent with their work and will check in with you periodically so that you both are on the same page on expectations. All in all, I am very satisfied with the completed project. It has made quite an impact on the property's curb appeal and my neighbors like me better now :)
