This review is long overdue. I had Chris and his team at Lonestar Landscaping give my front and back yard a major makeover a few months ago. I hadn't had the best luck with landscapers in the past because I always ended up feeling that they were in a hurry to get my job finished, collect a check and generally weren't too concerned with my satisfaction. It was the complete opposite with this company. Chris took the time to listen to my overall goals and never seemed to be in a rush. He made plant and design recommendations based on his expertise which resulted in a much more complete end result. Lone Star reinstalled my grass, pulled out two huge Mesquites, fixed my entire watering system, put in new and awesome plants and installed my lighting system. When I pull up to my house I love the way it looks and don't have that "my landscaper ripped me off feeling". Do yourself a favor, pick up the phone and give them a call, you'll be happy you did!

Lone Star Landscaping did a beautiful design for our yard. We had met with 3 companies prior to them, none of which we were happy with. Our designer was professional and knowledgeable bringing things to our attention that others had overlooked. We had a large travertine paver area done with a fireplace and a barbecue with a bar. They were not the cheapest, but definitely reasonable. It was a refreshing experience from beginning to end.

Lone Star did a great job with our backyard. Tony helped us from planning all the way to completion and was responsive and accommodating. We appreciate the detail they took with our pavers especially.

Chris came to our house to look at our patio and give us recommendations for the best way to update our patio and get rid of an awful sand pit and rocks next to the existing patio. We decided on a specific project and got the ball rolling in early May, signing a contract. He said they would be able to do the project after May 21st, and they were able to start the last week of May.

Chris was in constant contact with me even before the project started, keeping me updated on the timeline. Once the project started, he was there day 1 to make sure his crew knew exactly what to do. They worked so hard and were able to get the project done in 2 days! He came by to meet with my husband and make sure all was to our satisfaction.

We LOVE our new patio and can't wait to use them again to redo the deck around the pool to match the gorgeous gold travertine pavers! I highly recommend Lone Star Landscaping AZ for your outdoor oasis!!! We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Lone Star excelled at it all. Chris and his crew created a front yard design we love, and installed it with no problem – exceeding our expectations. A natural looking landscape – not just rocks, boulders, and plants in the ground – a design.

His crew is thorough – particular – and non-stop. They did great work, bringing the design to life, stuccoing the walls, installing the plants, the water and lighting systems – all well done – a great talented team, and everyday the work area was cleaned up, organized, all hoses neatly coiled – professional.

We couldn't be happier about our choice of Lone Star Landscaping to spruce up our front yard. We had contacted other landscapers who either didn't call back or had no ideas for helping us achieve our goals. Patrick's design reflected our wishes and our budget. We cannot be more happy with the final results of the remodel of our backyard completed by Lone Star Landscaping. The detail in installation of stone, firepit, planter, turf and travertine tile was excellent. Corners and edges are clean and straight, surfaces are level, and hardscape around pool really came out better than expected. The crew was always friendly and respectful of our home and space. Our 13 year old yard now looks up to date and enjoyable again. Thank you Tony and crew for renewing our yard and creating a new space again.

Lone Star Landscaping completely transformed the look and curb appeal of my home with a beautiful landscape and lighting design. My front of house appeal went from being one of the ugliest in the neighborhood to one of the most appealing (I continue to receive compliments on the landscaping)! Since there was little to start with but a few scattered plants, Lone Star came in with a complete landscape design which included irrigation, pavers, lighting, a full perimeter wall, and plants. It was a major project - I was looking for an exceptional end product and I wasn’t disappointed. Lone Star designed an outstanding landscaping plan for both our front and back yards. The back yard included a water feature, grill island and firepit. Our goal was to complement our views of Black Mountain and the Boulders resort and Chris did a great job of accomplishing this. Well, another project and great experience in the books with Lonestar Landscaping! We used Lonestar Landscaping 8yrs ago for a big travertine, outdoor fireplace, artificial turf project in our backyard, which was a success, so when we decided to totally redesign our front yard & add a BBQ island in the backyard, I had to reach out to Chris Cadena. 8 years later, I got the same experience: professional, skilled, stellar clean up, high quality material, timely, respectful of my property and a beautiful end product. The team over at Lone Star were great. They professionally quoted our project and started work almost immediately. Lonestar Landscaping completed a few different landscaping projects for us including a large patio with a pergola and fireplace, an addition to an outdoor kitchen, and an addition to a sport court. Chris did a fabulous job in replacing our entire front yard and now working to freshen up our back yard. Responsive, listened to our ideas and implemented in a well thought out design.
