We had our backyard done in May and had a wonderful experience with Hawkeye. Kelly was great to work with as we created the layout and Dave was an incredible foreman that always checked in to let us know what was happening. We had sod installed on one side of the yard an artificial turf on the other, along with 5 trees and about 10 plants. One plant died right away from shock and we were added to the schedule right away to have it replaced once the weather cooled off a little bit. There was one other plant that was damaged during the turf install and they immediately changed it out when I made them aware of it. The plants, trees and grass are all doing great and now the backyard is something we can enjoy instead of avoid at all costs.
Hawkeye will be our go to in the future for any new projects. We loved working with them.

We are so pleased we are with our new front yard and walkway and have received so many compliments on our new look. The work was done in April 2019 and has matured very nicely!

Kelly's design perfectly suits our home and the neighbourhood. Kevin, Hector and the rest of the crew were fantastic to work with. Everyone was courteous and accommodating and the crew made sure the area was tidied up each day before they left. The job was finished on time and on budget and we couldn't be happier. With 1,000 Phoenix landscapers to choose from, I looked into several companies and then Hawkeye specifically because I went to Univ of Iowa. This random choice fortunately led me to an excellent company. I had a rather small job but was treated as if it were a large, important one. As a snowbird, I was under pressure to get the job done quickly before I left for the summer. They got me scheduled almost immediately and done the next week. Although they were quick, the quality did not suffer. Conner was very attentive to detail and fulfilled my quirky requests, hunting down the exact rock and hybrid Mangaves. I was particularly pleased with the Silver Fox mangave he found. A small planting in the front was also done that met our HOA requirements.

Hawkeye distinguished themselves at first contact. Every aspect was orchestrated perfectly, on-time and with extra care. The removal of grass, installation of fabric and rock, installation of irrigation, planting of trees and plants then follow up after went smoothly without delay or chaos. Every interface with all staff members was a sigh of relief. Thank you Conner, and crew for such a professional and pleasant experience. It all looks so good.

Hawkeye (and Connor especially) were so great to work with. They originally came out to do an estimate and the pricing was very fair we ended up committing to the project! The team worked very quickly and we had a yard in 1 week! Can’t wait to work with them again on future projects. Super honest and fair guys to work with.

Hector, Allen, Miquel and Estevan were part of their crew and all of them took pride in their work. We spoke to two other companies. The prices were all similar, but Hawkeye really stood out. We cannot say enough good things about Hawkeye Landscaping. Everything about our experience exceeded expectations. After calling to set up a free consultation, Gordon was able to come out and do a design concept and estimate within a few days. He was patient and open to changes that we made after the initial estimate, and his costs were all clearly stated and itemized. After we finalized the design, work began in less than a week, and was completed in 3 days! Gordon returned all of my texts/calls within minutes and was on-site each day to ensure we were happy with the work that was being done. His knowledge of plants that would work well in our backyard (kid-friendly, low-mess around pools, evergreen during the winter, etc.) was invaluable. Angel led the actual team that installed the hardscaping and plants. He put a lot of time and care into making sure everything was laid out well, and was responsive to the small modifications that we requested during the actual installation. The crew worked SO HARD, and we could not be happier with the final result.

Connor & Kevin AND TEAM were amazing to work with. Extremely responsive and willing to explain throughout the whole process. Went above and beyond to give us the backyard we desired. Helped us make color choices and suggestions where needed. Price of work was the same as other contractors around town. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. We love supporting a local small, family owned business and will surely be calling them back for anything additional we need.

These guys did an amazing job. Very easy to work with and very flexible. I changed my mind a few times on what to do and they were able to accommodate the changes very quickly. I was also really impressed with their turn around time. They were able to get all the supplies and do the work in under a week for me. I would 100% use them again and recommend them to anyone. I added some before and after photos.

I can’t write enough good things about Connor and Hawkeye Landscaping! Connor came to the house and we walked the back and front discussing what I would like done with the Landscaping. Connor was very attentive to what I wanted and also made very good recommendations and options for me. I would consider what we had done a major landscaping project that included removing two large trees that were damaging the driveway because of the location. Removing some bushes and replanting bushes, plants and a replacement tree. Hawkeye also installed a new irrigation system, new landscape lighting, a courtyard pergola, a backyard pergola, and constructed a built in grill from ground up that included a drawer, a door and ran the gas line and electrical to it. There wasn’t anything I asked for that Connor couldn’t do. It’s obvious that Hawkeye Landscaping has very skilled landscapers who took their time and did above and beyond just a good job. If I could give Hawkeye Landscaping more than 5 stars, I most definitely would! I highly recommend calling them for any Landscaping project you have! 👍😁

We were finally ready to redo our front yard after living in this house for over 10 years and never liking the yard but not having the funds for such a project. We met with a couple of landscaping companies before deciding to go with Hawkeye. They weren't the lowest in price, but Connor was very personable and quick to respond, and we loved the story of the company and really wanted to support them. Connor provided a quote and 3D mockup the same day he came out to meet with us (other companies were taking weeks and didn't offer 3D images). He listened to what we said we liked and did not like and did his best to incorporate it into the design. He helped us get the approval from our HOA and the team was ready to begin work immediately after. If you want a company that will handle all of the planning and decision making and get the job done quickly, they are the ones to call. We were more hands on because this was a big spend for us that we've been waiting a decade to do, so it was important to us to have it be something we love. They were understanding and patient with us, answering our many questions and addressing concerns, and allowing us the time we needed to decide on rock colors and plant types, design changes, etc. Once we felt good about it, they were very quick. The entire job was done in two days. Dave and his team were professional and courteous. Dave was extremely accommodating and truly a joy to talk to (his wife and I share a love of rocks and I kept discovering unique stones amongst the Palomino Gold rip rap and pointing them out to him). He made sure he chose boulder colors that we would like, he caught a leak that we didn't know about, he even brought a little sample bag of the gravel before bringing the truckload because he knew I was worried about it (the sample I picked up was from a different rock yard and I know Apache Brown is one that can change quite a bit) and my husband I loved it more than the sample we already had so that really put us at ease. I just can't say enough great things about Dave and how much we appreciated having him on the job! Everything turned out really gorgeous. The gravel and rip rap, once they rinsed it all off, are so beautiful. Connor was spot on with those color suggestions! We were limited on where we could put boulders and plants because we have multiple boxes in the yard (such as cable) and an underground battery for the solar streetlight which occasionally has to be dug up and I think it's the best it can be considering the limitations. The only two constructive criticisms would be that we didn't know the plants would be quite as small as they are and it would be helpful to give the option to upgrade to a larger size for the slowest growers (like our agaves & golden barrel), and that there could have been a little more rip rap to fill in a couple areas where you can see the dirt between the larger rocks, but I think we can shift around some smaller chunks to fill the gaps. Still, overall, 5 stars and highly recommend! We will refer everyone we know needing work done, and we would not hesitate to use Hawkeye again down the road. Thank you Connor, Mary, Dave and team! ♥

My experience with Hawkeye Landscape was amazing. Connor did a great job understanding exactly what I wanted in my yard. I found that their prices are the best in the industry and the work is far beyond anything I expected. Juan and his team arrived early morning and knocked out the project in two days to include clean up. Juan, Connor and team communicated with me daily and I was very impressed with their customer service. The Mary and Cheryl at the office were very nice and answered each question with ease. We hired Hawkeye for a major amount of work around our property this year. We had them do multiple aluminum pergolas, extensive hardscape/pavers, path lighting, landscaping, custom garden beds, turf, fire pit, BBQ installation and new plants. Everything they do is custom and no request that we had from start to finish was too large or too small. The sales process was very low pressure and what sold us was the quick turnaround on design mock-ups that confirmed they understood our vision for our new yard. Their pricing on everything was transparent and it was quick and easy to add or change parts of our project through to the end. We enjoyed working with all of the foremen and the subcontractors because they went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the end product. Everyone that worked here had exceptionally good attitudes even in the hot summer months. We love our new outdoor areas and are very pleased we went with Hawkeye.

We recently hired Hawkeye Landscaping do a renovation in our back yard (travertine pavers, new artificial turf and replaced our 20+ year old irrigation system) and they did a fantastic job! We recently hired Hawkeye Landscaping for a comprehensive yard landscaping project, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They completely replaced our irrigation lines in both the front and back yards, replaced the majority of our backyard plants, and added beautiful lights to walkway and plants. Additionally, they broke down an old wall, built a new one to create a new patio space, and applied a similar stucco pattern to match and fix our existing walls.
