I hired Chilo and Susanna many years ago to design our courtyard. We loved it so much, we subsequently hired them to do our side yards. And, again, our back patio. We have kept in touch for over a decade. They still come out when we need help with maintenance or sick plants. Always delightful and reliable. I recommend them without reservation.

We have had Chilo and Susanna do several projects at two of our homes. Susanna has done a great job designing my gardens and hardscape. Chilo and his guys have done pavers and recently built a fire pit for us. We have used them for irrigation repair and yard clean up. They are our go to company for all of our landscaping needs.

We had an excellent experience with Gardens by Chilo & Susanna. After notifying Susanna of our interest via email, she got back to us the Same day. She said she would meet with us the next day and she was there at the time she said. I don't know about you, but meeting dates and times is not what I have experience with others. We went over a little of what we had in mind and the type of "look" we wanted for our yard. She told us she would have a plan for us to review and go over with in the following week. Again, right on time! The Plan was very specific. All the different types of plants were noted, as well as, the number of plants which would be required at each section. She also had the dollar amount for each specific item which was requested; landscaping, lighting, irrigation, mulch, etc., broken out and easy to follow & understand. Once we were ready, Chilo and the Team came out on the date planned and worked very conscientiously and very professionally - they worked the landscape as if it was theirs. They kept us informed of the progress and provided us updates on any changes. Also, Susanna was very flexible and easy to reach, very open to questions and providing recommendations. Overall, an excellent experience and we are extremely pleased with the work - the yard and landscaping look great! We highly recommend Gardens by Chilo & Susanna to everyone! Thank you.

They did an amazing job on our backyard. Our home is a new build so the backyard was (literally) dirt. Susanna’s design was super thoughtful and ideal for our young family. Chilo and his crew completed the job so quick, they were super clean as well. Beautiful job 🥰

We had a GREAT experience working with Susanna, her partner Chilo, and the entire crew of Gardens by Chilo & Susanna. Susanna came out to talk through some general concepts that my Husband and I were looking to do with our yard, as well as suggest various options to work with our budget. Drew up a plan & once we agreed on our desires everything went so smoothly!
We Love the design Susanna created, simple but elegant. She was so responsive, especially before and at the beginning of the project as we ironed out details.  Work began promptly at 8am as i was told and worked efficiently, and a well equipped company.  Chilo and his team delivered, both in terms of timeline, budget, and quality results. The team was awesome and attentive to detail! They did a beautiful job on a our backyard turf and boarder. The best thing of it all is, They completed the job in just 3 days!!
A few of our neighbors have complemented the work done, and we've been happy to refer them over to Susanna. This is a great team, highly recommended.

Susanna and her team did a great job on remodeling our back yard. We just needed the non-pool half refreshed, as we had a lot of bare dirt and old shrubs. They emphasize plantings vs hardscape (which is what we were looking for) and sketched up a concept on her first visit. The work was done promptly and we are happy with the results. Price was very competitive.

They are great to work with. First i wanted a landscaper who has been educated in the field and Susanna has her BS in landscape architecture. I have a very small yard patio/ yard and was not at all happy with it. I asked her to turn it into an oasis for me and i am quite happy with the outcome. She even drew out how furniture should be so i got rid of what i had and bought something i never would have bought before but i love how it works better in this small space. They are not cheap but neither is the product!!

Gardens by Suzanna and Chilo is the greatest discovery I have found in years! Suzanna did an amazing job of translating my backyard challenges and vague concepts of what I wanted into a perfect design for a landscape remodel! Chilo, and his team. Executed flawlessly toward an end result that exceeded my expectations. I have lived with the solution now for several months and wouldn't change a thing. They also provided a reasonable estimate and timeline prior to starting the project and completed the job on time and on budget with no surprises. I truly couldn't be happier!

My husband and I were thrilled with the results of the design and install for our new landscaping at an older home in Ironwood Village in North Scottsdale. We felt like the rates were reasonable and the job was completed when they said it would be. Susanna had great ideas and Chilo's install was right on the mark. Would definitely use Chilo and Susanna again!

I had many leads of various Landscapers; the minute I met Dan, I knew this was the right match. Dan was patient with me as I changed, liked, didn't like addeded and took away from the design. It turned out beautiful and exactly what I had hoped for. The crew that did the work was fabulous. They checked and doubled check to assure every item was placed perfectly. I could not be happier with the end result and with no hesitation would hire them again.

We reached out to Dan and his company and he was very quick and eager to want to come out and sit down with us, which was great. Other companies have just blown us off! He asked a lot of very good questions and genuinely wanted to get the design right. After our initial meeting he had something put together in a couple of days. He put together a very nice 3D rendition and my wife and I were very pleased. Other than a few changes we stuck to the plan and he totally understood why we made the changes, and this didn't bother him one bit. Most contractors are sticklers about changes and can wear their feelings and frustrations on their sleeve, but Dan told us that changes are a common occurrence and it was fine. This isn't our first large project and it went very smooth considering some supply issues that had nothing to do with the service. All in all they were on time and tidy throughout the process. I would and have recommended this company to people close to me.

Dan and his team are excellent! He takes such a personal interest in your design - finding ways to improve it and make it more your own. His crews are so great at what they do as well, working efficiently while still delivering a super quality build. Thanks for everything Dan!

I hired Diamond Cut Landscaping to relandscape my front yard and would recommend hiring them. The people I worked with were very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Mario, the salesman I worked with was a joy. He made wonderful suggestions as to how to update my front yard and spent many hours with me selecting just the correct product. The project turned out much better than I ever thought possible. Any issue I had was addressed immediately and corrected. I have received many nice compliments from neighbors and friends.

I personally interviewed many venders. The 3 last landscaping companies didn’t even come close to Diamond Cut! In price for what we got and design was just what we were looking for. It was a hugh area that needed a number of ponds taken out and to be designed in a completely different style. Dan took the area , made it into something so beautiful and fit in to dessert Landscape. Fountains, benches, River stream, amazing steel plants in all sizes.
Dan was always there with an answer for us right away. The community can not say enough of how this project came out , and how the workers did there work. They came in with plenty of men every day and worked hard till the job was completed. Stayed with in budget , everything was up front, no surprises. Every night things were cleaned up. Diamond Cut takes great pride in there work. When they finished you’d not known they had been here. There will always be no hesitation in hiring this company again!
