In my opinion, This company will try to overcharge you!!! I had them come out to fix a refrigerator water supply valve, I was told it would cost $ 600....Really? $600 for a simple valve replacement...The tech lied and said he needed to cut the dry wall to do it....And they don't repair dry wall....Long story short, I looked at the valve, went to Ace hardware, bought a new one for $10 and replaced it myself. I didn't need to cut any dry wall, and it took all of about 10 minutes....In my opinion this company looks like they will try to take advantage of you and overcharge for an extremely simple repair!!!

So thorough and professional. Oscar got here quickly and took the necessary time to resolve why my Outlets kept tripping. Problem turned out to be an outlet outside the house.

I was given an appointment 8a-10a for a leaking HWH.
Customer service was in constant contact by text and phone.
David arrived on time and determined the HWH tank was leaking and there was no possible repair for heater.
David gave me an estimate for a new electric HWH, expansion tank and plumbing.
I accepted and David went to work. He had everything he needed on the truck including the HWH. No having to leave for parts and coming back to do the job.
About two hours later I had a shiny new 50 gallon HWH, expansion tank and plumbing.
George Brazil uses Bradford White heaters which are much better quality than AO Smith.
I have a water softener and we know softeners are hard on HWH's but my original Bradford White lasted 8 years and the AO Smith only lasted 3 years plus it had a problem with the anode rod from day one.
Lastly, if you require a new expansion tank per city code it will cost you more for the new tank and plumbing.
I will continue to call George Brazil for my plumbing needs.
PS, I did not purchase a membership and there was no pressure to do so.

While they are there in an emergency, it is not the best work and it is extremely expensive. The tech was very nice but unfortunately didn’t solve my issue after I paid $1,500 for a single main breaker replacement (which I was now told is extremely expensive) that again, did not solve the issue. After they did that, APS came out and told me the real issue and George Brazil said they would have to replace the whole panel for almost $12,000. I immediately got the issue fixed for $600 the following day with a small family company. I appreciate them for coming out all night and again, tech was very sweet, but I would recommend saving your money and going with a smaller company unless you truly cannot wait until the morning/Monday.

Francisco provided very professional service. I had several smoke alarms that needed battery replacement that were out of my reach. In recent weeks I replaced batteries for the ones on my 3 bedrooms. They had been chirping.
I asked for some additional work to replace exhaust fans in my 2 bathrooms. I was surprised that the rebuild of both was half the cost of new ones. I decided to have new ones because the old ones were installed by a plumber not an electrician. He completed the work sooner than estimated, took detailed photos and sent invoices for all work completed along with photos. I have been using George Brazil plumbers and electricians for over 4 years. I am very pleased with the quality work I have had for my home. Thank you.

We had a problem with our kitchen switch. Ritchie repaired the switch. While he was here we had him upgrade the circuit breaker panel and wire the hot water heater correctly. Ritchie was very professional and knowledgeable.
We decided to change out all the outlets and switches. Ritchie and Nick came out to complete the job. While they also wired us a 30 amp plug for our RV. Both Ritchie and Nick were very professional and polite. They are also very knowledgeable. They did a great job. Thanks guys. I would not hesitate to call George Brazil for any other electrical needs.

Troy was great. He understood our issue and went above and beyond to make sure it was taken care of.

He also provided valuable input on things we should consider, things we had no idea needed attention.

For our electrical needs we want Troy to help us.

I called them early in the morning and was told they could have a plumber out within an hour or so to take a look at my water softener (which was installed in 1998 and having issues). Ricardo called to let me know he was on his way and arrived within the hour. Took a look and confirmed what needed to be done - we sat down and went over a few options. I okayed the work and he started immediately prepping the area while they arranged for drop off of the new unit. I can’t believe they were able to have everything installed and up and running the same day. I had another company quote it and they told me 3 - 5 days - and although the other company was slightly cheaper I felt instantly comfortable with Ricardo and had decided to go with George Brazil instead. I’m so happy with them - from start to finish they made it easy and stress free. I would not hesitate to recommend them and if you can get your pick of the tech I recommend asking for Ricardo.

Francisco Ochoa did a great job. He was very professional and very helpful. He explained things well and looked for the best deal for me. He replaced two outlets. One was very old and definitely needed to be replaced.
    I would highly recommend Francisco

George Brazil came out for a paid yearly inspection that my mom has a service plan for. This was not a service call and not a request for estimates.

During that inspection, their technician attempted to sell her a $3,200–$3,500 replacement for a standard 50-gallon gas Bradford White water heater. This would have been a simple, direct replacement easy access, existing venting in good condition, nothing special.

To justify all of this, they claimed the home’s water pressure was 82 PSI and said the PRV valve needed to be replaced because it “couldn’t be adjusted.” That was false. I personally checked the pressure with my own gauge it was 62 PSI, well within recommended limits and exactly where a properly functioning PRV should regulate. The PRV is working correctly.

They also quoted $250 for an anode rod replacement on the existing water heater during this same inspection. That price is well above normal for routine maintenance and completely unjustified given the circumstances.

On top of that, they quoted $475 to replace a single easy-access toilet angle stop valve while they were already onsite. That valve costs under $20 and is a quick job. Charging nearly $500.00 for it during a paid inspection is indefensible.

For context, I already had multiple legitimate quotes from other licensed plumbers for the same Bradford White water heater in the $1,900–$2,300 range. Compared to that, George Brazil’s recommendations weren’t just high , they were grossly inflated across the board.

So during a routine inspection that my mom already pays for, your technician misrepresented conditions and stacked overpriced, unnecessary work. This wasn’t about maintenance or safety, it was about sales.

What makes this especially troubling is that this was done while dealing with my mother, who trusted that a paid inspection would be honest and not used as a pressure-based sales opportunity.

Management needs to take this seriously. Either this was a rogue technician, or upselling and exaggeration are part of the business model. Either way, this experience completely destroyed any trust in your company.

We got our work a few months ago so I’m not sure of our electricians name. I think it was John Endeen. We were losing power to half our house over and over for hours at a time. John did resolve the issue by replacing the panel. But take a look at the size of the panel and the pipe beneath. As well as the eyesore or a ground. They added an extra $2000 while on the job because it allegedly wasn’t up to code. Idk if it wasn’t up to code because of the size of equipment he put in? I live in a patio home of about 2000 sq ft. This is industrial sized panel and pipe! All of this went down while I was at work, leaving my mom here to deal with it or I would have said something. Looks ridiculous! Did he resolve the issue? Yes. Do I think my mom was swindled and taken advantage of? Without a doubt. Look at all the empty breaker slots!
