Without any doubt Eddy is the most trustworthy, resourceful, and professional person in the plumbing business I have ever had the extreme pleasure to have worked with. He saved us over $30,000 by showing and explaining to us an alternative and successful ways to repair and fix our plumbing problems. We were ready to commit to a complete sewer repair before Eddy suggested we wait until he could evaluate the situation. He spent over 2 hours clearing all our lines and detailing everything that needed to be done, including asking me to observe what he was doing. He even spent a lot of time explaining why drains get clogged and how to prevent that from happening. PLEASE, BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO ANYTHING OTHER THAN AN EXPENSIVE UNCLOGGING OF A DRAIN OR SEWER REPAIR, TALK TO EDDY HIS CHARGE FOR DOING THE WORK WAS INCREDIBLY REASONABLE. Yes!!! We have used Universal Drain Cleaners for many years. We live in a home built in 1955. Old pipes!!! Ed has always been our go to. Very knowledgeable, punctual, perfect communication, often comes to our rescue within hours. Ed cares about coming up with a solution for the problem. Never a "take the money and run" vibe. Eddie is Amazing! His business motto is awesome, no advanced appointments -you call him the day you need him! Truly unheard of -yet brilliant, so relieving and beyond needed. Especially when every company you call tells you they are booked out for 2 weeks or longer when you currently have water backing up in your home thru the shower and toilets, and waiting is clearly not an option. Wow! Eddie just saved us from spending thousands on a new sewer line, which we were told we needed by a large company. The expense and inconvenience would have been huge! I had a clogged sink and was referred to call Universal Drain Cleaners. Eddy was able to come out that same day. Not only did he quickly unclog the drain, he provided a ton of helpful information and demonstrated a strong foundation of knowledge on the subject. Price was reasonable, and Eddy seemed to really care about the customer by providing expert advice on preventive measures that other plumbers either don’t know about or would rather not tell you. He has many years of experience on older and newer homes alike. I would highly recommend using his services for any drain issues in your home.

Eddy is a lifesaver. My washing machine was causing a back up into my kitchen sink. The first plumber who came out did not fix the clog and tried to sell me a $1900 hydrojetting service. Eddy fixed the clog for $186. And he explained my entire plumbing system to me. He is honest, incredibly reasonably priced, responsive, and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Edy was recommended by a good friend of mine. I called Plumbsmart/Francisco who came out yesterday, didn't do anything and indicated that he would have to open up walls to get to the pipes since they are closing up. After trying to snake.

Eddie is my go to guy for plumbing and drain cleaning now. Not only are his prices more than reasonable; he knows everything there is to know about septic systems and the specifics behind the problem you’re having. He’s been servicing the valley since the 90’s with plumbing and drain services and is the best guy I’ve had come out for any plumbing issue. He doesn’t just hand you the bill and leave, he takes time explaining the issue you’re having and how to fix it properly so you can eliminate the issue. He is 100% your go to guy!!

Eddie is amazing! We live in central Phoenix and had two backed up showers. He did a house call on Sunday on Labor Day weekend and supported our house and our neighbor’s house. He was super friendly, educational, and affordable. If you have a plumber come out, saying you need to replace your pipes, call Eddie first to get a second opinion.

We live in an older house in central Phoenix near Metro Center. Our main line to the sewer was plugged and our kitchen sink and laundry drains were backed up. I called Eddy early on Monday and he said he was booked until late afternoon. He showed up around 5 p.m., and because we didn't have a clean out port on the ground, Eddy had to do it the hard way...up on the roof. The problem in the main sewer line was more severe that we thought, but Eddy stayed on the roof with his equipment, until almost 8 p.m. that night. He got the blockage taken care of, and after finishing on the roof, gave us some great tips to prevent the problem from recurring. I highly recommend Universal Drain Cleaners to anyone needing drain cleaning for a reasonable price!

Honest, reliable and really in it to make sure his customers are taken care of and beyond, he not only snaked our outside lines and explained how everything worked, he even helped us with our game plan to get things fixed correctly. Don't call anyone else! Eddie is the best! We have a unique plumbing layout for our "mother-in-law" suite addition to our 50-year-old home. The plumbing was not joined to the main home. Instead, the pipe comes from the addition and wraps around the home out to the street to the main sewer. The piping travels at least 150 feet and can get clog anywhere in this line. Eddie always gets it unplugged. He has helped us with suggestions on getting more water down the pipe to keep things "moving." He really is the best and very reasonable with his prices. Very honest guy! Added bonus is he knows the best pizza place to go to in the "hood." Thanks Eddie!

Can’t say enough about Eddie and Universal Drain Cleaners. Same day service to fix a backed up kitchen sink and very reasonable pricing. Eddie taught me more about how to keep my single family house drains from backing up that I knew in the last 30 years, all why fixing the problem.
I had one of the valley’s premier plumbing services out earlier for over an hour and the couldn’t fix the problem and wanted to upcharge me 4x what Universal did. Eddie fixed the problem in 30 minutes while instructing me how to maintain to avoid future problems. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommended!

UPDATE!! Moved to different house with major tub back up issue. Literally 15 minutes after Eddie arrived it was taken care of along with some education abiut taking care of 63 year old plumbing. The absolute best and most honest person in the business.

Eddy is incredible! Our bathtub drain kept backing up, and we had multiple plumbers out to look it. We got multiple quotes, some over $10,000, to fix it.

Eddy came out and had the drain working again within an hour! Not only that, he took the time to educate us on how to take care of our drains, how our overall plumbing setup works in our house, and things to do/fix to help the drains work better.

I’m so happy with his service, and will definitely come back for any drain issues in the future.

Wonderful experience! Was able to unclog our drain and super knowledgeable of our drainage system and proper toilet water level for flushing with our layout. Great prices and great quality work.

Had two plumbing companies come out before Eddie. Total of $1400 and hours later, our situation was not resolved. Called universal plumbing on a Sunday and Eddie asked to hear what was going and took time out of his Sunday to come over and fix our issue. Was there for no more than 20 minutes and the cost was a huge fraction of the other guys. If your looking for an honest, hard working, local company, here it is.
