After hearing strange noises from the basement, I called in a plumber who arrived promptly within 45 minutes. They efficiently diagnosed and repaired the sump pump issue, ensuring everything ran smoothly. I’m grateful for their expertise and professionalism.

We’re so happy we found Eddie. When our 1940’s historical home kitchen sink clogged up, an hour of me plunging did not work. We called a popular plumbing business in Phoenix that we have used in the past. They could not get their rooter snake past 5 feet from the sink. They said it was the pipe under our floor that has collapsed and would cost $2700 to jack hammer up a 3x3 foot square in our kitchen to access the drain and repair it and that would take a few days of work. They told me that the plumbing is bad in the Willo Neighborhood and that it will just happen going forward. So I paid them $220 and my sink was still clogged. That’s when I decided to ask for a second opinion.

My wife found Eddie on NextDoor who had great recommendations so we called him. Eddie promptly returned our call, talked with us for about 15 mins, told us about his experience with historical homes. He sounded really confident that he could fix anything; very experienced sales pitch. I am a general skeptic, but he sold me over the phone with a no-surprises price to come out. He was available the next day and said he would text me when he was in the neighborhood, which he did and gave me an hour notification in advance. He showed up, took command of the situation, grabbed his equipment, easily got past the 5 foot block (that the other company said was a collapsed pipe), but the 50-foot snake did not solve the issue. So he grabbed the heavy artillery out of his truck, went up on the roof (which the other company did not do), worked for about 15 mins, and the drain came unplugged. He even let me make a short video of him explaining what happened and how to prevent it in the future, which I requested so that I could show my kids what not to do in the future.

In the end Eddie said my pipes were just fine. He fixed the issue for a total cost that that was less than what the other plumbing company charged me for doing nothing. I just wonder what the other company would have done if I had not found Eddie - dig up my floor, see that there was nothing wrong, pretend that there was something wrong, pretend to fix it, charge me a couple grand, move on to the next stooge. How would I have known otherwise?

Very happy with Edy's service. He had an idea what was wrong just with a telephone call. When he got here, he looked at our toilet, bathtub and sewer drain. He was here less than an hour, so very efficient, and resolved issues. Even our dog warmed up to him instantly, and she is a very high strung personality with strangers. Highly recommend.

I was very fortunate to come across Eddie from Universal Drain Cleaners. My clients ran into a nightmare the day they took possession of their new home. Their daughter had taken a shower upstairs and then noticed a huge leak, and came all the way out to the exterior of the home. Delayed review due to the holidays but they wouldn't have been near as enjoyable without the drain cleaning service Ed provided a couple of weeks ago! I called his # in the eve based on reviews and he was quick to answer, listened to the issues, and scheduled me. He showed up on time and actually did an additional drain. Great service and tons of expertise. Super nice guy who provides tips and tricks to keeping the drains clear in the future. Before you call another place that tells you they have to send a tech to even give you a price...call Ed! Happy New Year.

Eddie was awesome. After Roto Ranger came out and tried to tell me I needed a $1900 hydro jet service, I called him and he came out same day and had my clogged kitchen drain unclogged and working perfectly in no time at all. He also explained to me how to prevent it from happening again. Very great experience and I highly recommend!

I had a clog in my primary bathroom causing the sink, shower, or toilet to fill with water when water was running from one of these sources. One plumber came out and said they'd have to install a cleanout by cutting a hole in the wall 2x2 feet and it would cost $1200. I called Eddie who came out the same day. I appreciated how thorough he was in assessing my particular plumbing system at my property. He walked around my property, asked questions about the house, my past experiences, and then went on the roof (something other plumbers refused to do). He used a snake to clear my clog. He finished in about 15 minutes time at my house and not only fixed my problem, he educated me on how to prevent the problem in the future. Instead of spending $1200, I spent $200. If you have a clog and can't clear it, just call Eddie - don't waste your time with others. I highly recommend.

Running a load of wash and my kitchen sink started to back up and water pouring out from the laundry room. So glad I called Universal Drain Cleaners. Edy came out within the hour (on a Friday night when Diamondbacks were in a playoff game) and quickly fixed the clogged drain. And he explained everything about the plumbing in my 1971 home and how the newer water saving products aren’t equipped to handle the long plumbing run out to our alley- he showed me exactly what to do to help compensate so that I won’t have clogs in the future. Incredibly reasonable, highly recommend for any clogged drains you have.

Eddie's name was given to me by a friend. He is fantastic. I had a big time plumbing company come unclog a blocked drain and they said I had broken pipes and they could fix for$12,000.00. I called Eddie and he fixed my drain and I had no broken pipes. You need to call Eddie if you have a clogged drain. I wrote his name and number in black felt pen on the inside of my kitchen cabinet so I have it handy. And I will be calling the other company and having a conversation with them.

Edy is amazing and fast! We live in an old house and get clogs quite frequently. We have used him several times and have been very satisfied each time. He is very prompt, personable and knowledgeable! We won't use anyone but him!

Had two bathroom sink drains clogged. Not the first time it's happened but it's been a tough project for plumbers in the past. I was looking for a drain cleaner specifically and came across great reviews for Universal Drain Cleaners. Eddy was able to come out the next day and was done with the job in about 10 minutes. Eddie came the same day ran the snake (Roto) from my roof and cleared my toilets and showers. Not only did he do a great job but also explained the problem with old homes with newer toilets. Plus how to fix it without re-piping my home. Very knowledgeable, professional and excellent work. Also, very reasonably priced. And yay: no upselling- the price he said on the phone was exactly what I paid.
