They stay in contact letting you know the schedule throughout the project.
Their crews clean-up after every day's work as if they were no even there!
The finished product came out better than I imagined.

We had a 25 year old pool that had pits and stains in the plaster, the tile work was impossible to keep clean and pieces were falling off. The cool deck was was crumbling in spots and was very unsightly.
We are thrilled with our "new" pool and deck. The price was very competitive too.

I don't write alot of reviews but I think Rick and his team deserved 5 star rating Rick has done outstanding work for us he is always a pleasure to work with ...very knowledgeable about his job and the service he performs .He has done a lot of work for us on flip homes from complete pool remodels to monthly service. He will go out of his way to keep your pool up and running.. he came out on a Sunday at short notice and helped us with a broken pool motor ..and Ryan kicks but Matter fact whenever he does our pool because they do or weekly maintenance at my own home he hoses down our whole deck cleans our patio furniture does a really outstanding job

I would recommend these guys to anyone and everyone. They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. There prices are fair and they have a pretty fast turn around to getting out to your home. Our spa hasn't worked in three years since we bought it and Eric came in out a heater and did a few other things and I'd have them back for my pool in the future.

Stop searching and call these guys already! APSR completely redid my pool, pool decking, and patio tile a couple years ago - and today it’s still looking great! The whole process was easy, smooth, and stress-free. They offered competitive pricing, and finished the work within a couple weeks. I was really impressed how fast they were, and how great of a job they did.

We have had a pool completely built by Arizona Pool & Spa Renovations and we also had an interior remodel completed by them to include some plumbing changes as well as redoing the surface and tile. They offer a competitive price and their quality of completed work is great. The only hitch is your typical waiting for the next step and having small delays or minor miscommunications, but I continue to refer them and I like their work.

Fantastic experience. Very communicative, gave us plenty of options for surfaces and tiles and professional. They were always on time, and on track with the project and were able to get it done quicker than we expected. High quality work, service and details.

We have had nothing but success with this company from installing an entire new filter system to recommending the best cleaner we have had. And the prices were the most reasonable we have had. And they are prompt and follow up quickly when needed. My son has also started using them for his pool.

I rate this company and their employees at 5 STARS ! They are honest, on time, know their products and are available anytime to answer any questions you may have. i knew my pool was going to come out looking great after the job was done, but NOTHING prepared me for the fabulous result I got.The beauty of my pool is absolutely OVER THE TOP! I had a basic plaster pool and now I have an eye popping pool sitting in my back yard!

I found this company to do not only good work, but they actually cleaned up after themselves. I had a complete re-do of my pool and deck and, at one point, there was dust all over the place as they took out the old materials. Then they cleaned up and it looked great. They were polite and helpful and quick. I am very proud of my pool and deck now.

Met with Don first, to go over everything we wanted and needed to do with our pool. He advised us that some decisions we thought were the right ones were actually not necessary. That showed he knew what he was doing, and wasn't trying to get every dollar possible out of us.
We had many estimates done, and were very confident that Arizona Pool & Spa Reno was the most honest, and reputable company to go with. We even had one well known company estimate the EXACT same reno at nearly 9k more!
Everything was done quickly, and we couldn't be happier with our decision!
After the pool was filled, Mike came to start the chemical process, and took the time to actually teach us what to do, step by step, to take care of our pool. Wonderful customer service! I would recommend Arizona Pool & Spa Reno to anyone and everyone!

Selected Arizona Pool & Spa to resurface my old plaster pool to mini pebble along with removal of of pop up in floor cleaning system. My pool service tech recommended them. From the start, Don was up front and told me I didn't need certain things other pool companies told me were necessary. For years my pool light didn't work and everyone said it needed replacing. Don reset the GIF, it worked and didn't need replacing. I also had a few minor cool decking cracks but he said it wasn't necessary to replace and even looked up the paint color for me should I opt to repaint it. Their bid came in 2nd to lowest but I did not have confidence in the lowest bid and felt Arizona Pool & Spa's quote was fair & I had more confidence in this company based on everything Don explained when he first came out. There was a minor delay for the chip out due to a truck needing repair but it was rescheduled within the week and no biggie. Mike also was very responsive to questions I had. The chip out crew worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. Got a lot of rain after chip out which accumulated in pool shell but Mike assured me it was not an issue. Had a minor issue that I reported to Don and he immediately followed up on it and wanted to address it and expressed his apologies which I appreciated and I understand things happen so no need to elaborate. Got a thin crack in my skimmer during construction and they repaired it and Don assured me if it causes me any issues down the road they will come out and address it and I trust they stand by their word on this. The pebble crew was incredible and watching the process was so interesting. They were friendly & engaged, and they did a great job. My beautiful new pool was complete and filled by Christmas Eve so Merry Christmas to me. It really is a beautiful transformation. Definitely recommend this company.

I’ve been trying for a year to get Don to resolve crack in my pool as well as my cool
decking coming up all over. I’ve only gotten the run around. Spent $15.4.k to have pool and decking done not expecting within 4 yrs to have to redo everything. Definitely would not recommend
Owners response is false as it is the cool decking coming up everywhere as well as a crack in the pool from the work they did. I have many photos to support my claim as well as the contract. Do not recommend. Note I’ve never spoken to Mike, he’s never been to see my cool deck or pool. Again company continues to deflect from their shady work. Pursuing my claim now through the appropriate channels

I could not be happier with the service we received from Don and Mike. They were helpful with advise and their team did an amazing job. They were amazing on follow up for scheduling- one instance they came the very next day! The team kept the area clean while working and were extremely professional in all their encounters with us. Don and Mike followed up after each stage was complete. We absolutely love our new pool and know if we have any issues, they are just a call away. Thank you so much for such a great experience.

If you read the other one star reviews you'll see that Don is great until he's not. I like him and Mike and his quality of work and recommendations. And then his communication was dysfunctional and confrontational. I kept trying to work with him. I had a similar experience where he was defensive and assumed what I wanted and didn't discuss options. I asked to talk to Mike 3 different times and he refused. There seems to be a different side to Don that shows up. BEWARE!

Terrible experience with Don and lack of communication and constant excuses. He wouldn’t let me talk to anybody else because he said he was the manager and owner. Finally at the end after 10 months, Mike came out to start up pool. Mike was great and told me he was also the owner. Why wouldn’t Don let me talk to Mike in the first place? Mike was personable and helpful, and I believe this whole nightmare might have been less dreadful if Mike was involved.!In the end I hired someone else redo the pool surround.

I am in the middle of trying to have work completed by this company. For resurfacing, new tile and an extremely small
concrete job to be completed- my pulls has been tore up for nearly 8 weeks. Don, who is a co-owner does not communicate well nor does he take accountability for his actions. Instead, chooses to blame the customer for everything. I am hopeful this will get their attention as I can not get any info from Don directly. He can be quite rude (and admittedly makes me rude in return), however when someone spends a lot of money with a company for a pool remodel to be done, you would think they would do anything it takes to ensure the project goes smoothly. Apparently not for Don.

Update as of 8/17: as you will see Mike (one of the owners) decided to respond after 3 months. Pretty normal response time if you wait on them by having to proactively bug them. Mike is right, he came out to do the “start-up” on the pool as I was not allowed to have my own pool guy do it. The dumping of a gallon of chemicals into the pool sure was worth the wait (literally, that’s what was done as I sat here and watched). Besides the large slope in the concrete deck the poured which translates into uneven pool tile in one spot, things are great. I didn’t bother having them come out as I didn’t want things tore up for months on end and even more angst with dealing with Don- sounds like others have experienced as well. I thought I would never have to deal with this firm again, but I needed to respond back to Mikes response after the 3 month delay it took them. I still suggest looking elsewhere for your pool renovation needs.

Don was great at scoping out our pool resurfacing project and getting it scheduled (despite weather challenges). We love the finished product.

We recently had our 12000 gallon pool remodeled. Don was great to work with and delivered on budget, on schedule and we were very happy with the final result. The various crews who did the work were very courteous, showed up when they were supposed to and left the yard clean after each step. The whole process of resurfacing the pool and installing new pool equipment took about 2 weeks.

Pool chemical readings were amazingly identical for several months! Either they did a extremely accurate job or the tech just put down the same numbers everytime. He did a very lax job of brushing and cut corners. We finally let them go after repeated calls and nothing changed.
