Tam, was a great tech, very knowledgeable.
But because of your policies he was not able to fix my problem because the refrigerator is no dead.
Second, why do I have to pay the $125 service fee as no service was performed? Please refund my service fee! -
John was a great technician. He explained the reasons my refrigerator/freezer was having issues and did the simple fixes and explained how to avoid the problems again. He was very nice and knowledgeable about his job.

The work performed was good! I’m giving 4 stars because I used a warranty company to source the work, and the tech felt the need to complain about working with warranty companies and claimed they don’t approve work. In my experience, Choice Warranty has consistently approved work, and I honestly can’t recall an instance where they didn’t. If an employee doesn’t like working with warranty companies, that grievance should be directed to their employer and not the customer. If the warranty company hadn’t approved the work, I would have simply found another company to fix the issue rather than deal with a disgruntled attitude toward warranty companies.

Originally I was willing to pay for the costs they quoted but in the end, the cost doubled without a clear explanation before the work was done. The original quote was $1,000. Then a phone call added $350 more, no problem. Finally, they replaced the thermostat, which may have been the original problem, and now I am paying $2,000+! I need my unit fixed so I was willing to pay a fair price but I felt blindsided by the final bill.

Our technician, William, was very polite and knowledgeable about the repair. He kept me well informed throughout the entire process. He was also well organized and kept the area he worked on clean.
