There’s something reassuring about a technician who doesn’t rush. He took time to inspect the appliance thoroughly, explained what was happening internally, and then carried out the repair with care. The machine has been running smoothly ever since, and I feel more confident maintaining it going forward.

Called for a washer issue. Got it repaired the same day. Smooth experience overall.

I have never been so disrespected in my own home. Brian came to assess our refrigerator as a 3rd opinion ordered by our property manager. He didn't listen to anything we were saying and within less than 5 minutes he says it because we left the freezer door open and to contact Frigidaire. We have already been told that the control panel needs to be replaced but he refused to listen. Brian was so rude and I would avoid him at all costs.

Alan from this company responded to my yelp review stating that Brian was trying to give us his professional opinion. He suggested we call Frigidaire, that was his professional opinion? I told him to leave because he refused to listen or even look in the fridge to clearly see the burn marks from the lights that wouldn’t go out previously causing the overheating. And just so you know, I wouldn’t have let you all back in my house even if you had come back. Brian was so disrespectful in his speech to us, I couldn’t believe it.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Brad called in advance to let me know he was on his way. Showed up on time within the scheduled window and was beyond courteous from the moment I answered the door. He got right to work and was able to diagnose the problem with my dryer within minutes. Brad was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Brad diagnosed immediately that my igniter was burnt out and within minutes had my dryer heating up again and working like new. Very reasonable pricing, excellent customer , on-time, knowledgeable employee.....customer for life and would absolutely recommend E and J Appliance Repair Company in Tempe Arizona to all my friends and family!!!! When our 9-yr-old washing machine quit recently, it was a total surprise. We had never experienced a problem since we bought it! I began looking for a repair company, even priced out a new machine, should that be needed. I'm "old school" and found them in the phone book, looked them up online and read wonderful reviews! I called E & J Appliance that Friday, made an appointment for the following Monday and they even called to ask if they could come early; as they were running ahead of schedule. Carson, the repairman was great; polite, knowledgeable, efficient and in a very short time fixed our machine. This is the only company we will be calling in the future for any repair work on our appliances. Thank you!

E and J were referred to me by a neighbor for repair of my subzero refrigerator. Brian, our technician was very knowledgeable, courteous, and punctual. He quickly and efficiently diagnosed our problem with the fan and took extra time to instruct me on how to properly clean and maintain the system to prevent further problems. He went above and beyond to try and save me on the cost of a new fan and returned on schedule to complete the repair. Brian and E and J provide competent, capable, and very reliable service. I would highly recommend them.

Extremely pleased with their services. They called me during their scheduled window and arrived within it as well. The owner was present during the appliance repair as the technician was completing his training. This shows me that everyone at every level in the company is concerned with doing repairs correctly and efficiently. They repaired both of my appliances quickly and completely. One of the appliances wasn't functioning due to user error, but they did not make me feel bad about not catching my mistake. That is my girlfriends job:)

I submitted a request through Maytag to have my newly purchased dryer repaired as my clothes were not drying. Sarah called immediately leaving a message to confirm the appointment and the issue. When I called back, a friendly gentleman answered advising to try the dryer without the vent which of course solved the issue. I called back later to let Sarah know which also meant a service trip was not needed. I was so impressed by their honesty as they could have easily came out and made unnecessary repairs just to make money. As a first time home buyer, I already had a nightmare with the previous washer where the plumber took advantage of me and the situation the first week I moved in. Sarah then gave me names of other companies they use too for other related services. While E&J Services did not service anything, they will be the first place I will call/use when I need something done based on this first experience. I got a good feeling from them which I've lost trust in other companies that just want your money rather than your trust and loyalty.

I have used E&J for years in the past and always have had great service from them! I recently had to have them check a brand new Oven for me. These guys are awesome! Sarah was one of the best customer service people I have ever dealt with. She cared, was friendly and a great communicator. Carson was extremely knowledgeable, professional and personable! A great combination of characteristics in this business! They really understand what Total Customer Satisfaction is all about. I am glad to have had them come this week. And BTW, Carson showed up wearing a mask during these trying times of COVID19! Kudos to the entire E&J Family.

My dishwasher was leaking water out the bottom. I had to call several places before I found a company that would work on dishwashers. The technician was right on time and quickly determined the source of the leak. Unfortunately he had to order a part. He was able to return the very next morning with the part. He replaced the part and stopped the leak. I was satisfied with my experience and I would use them again.

Our Samsung refrigerator stopped cooling. I called E&J and they right away knew what the problem was and ordered the parts. Theo came to the house to do the repair. He was very professional and knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem right away as ice buildup in the back of the refrigerator. After removing the part that they thought was defective, it turned out it was OK. Theo defrosted the refrig with a steamer, and with some difficulty got it restarted cooling. He was here for about two hours and said he didn't want to leave us without a working refrigerator. Not many company employees show this type of customer service. Also, I was impressed that he took back the part they ordered and didn't need. Some companies would have installed it anyway and charged us for it. The honesty and integrity of E&J is very much appreciated.

My washer stopped working after two years and a friend recommended I call E&J. I can’t say enough good about this company. The tech, Jim, was outstanding. He was friendly and professional and was able to repair the washer for a reasonable price. I’ll definitely use this company in the future.

Joey was sent out to examine and repair my Whirlpool dishwasher. Joey was very professional, and quickly diagnosed the issue. The dishwasher was repaired, and is now working as good as new. E and J was very punctual and stuck with the appointment times that they gave me. I would highly recommend Joey and E & J Appliance. I will be calling them again for my future issues, as well as recommending them to friends or family that are in need of appliance service.

This company is by far the best appliance company I have ever used. From the first phone call, to arrival and repair. Customer service was pleasant and did what they said they would do. We had some major issues with our dishwasher and we kicked ourselves for not hiring through E&J sooner. Jim was an amazing service technician. He not only got the job done, but gave us some helpful tips moving forward. He seemed to love his job and that’s what keeps us loyal to a company. Highly recommend.

Our refrigerator quit cooling on a hot Phoenix day. When I called E&J they sent someone to our home within an hour. The tech was very knowledgeable and professional. He identified the problem and told us upfront what our options were. Although we have to buy a new appliance we were totally satisfied with our experience. Thank you so much for coming so fast! Scott came to my house to look at our dishwasher. He was professional and gave me thorough instructions for my dishwasher. I was especially appreciative of the fact that although the pump isn't operating at it's fullest capacity, he didn't jump into pushing me to replace it but rather, told me how to take care of the dishwasher and what soap to use and the settings needed. That kind of service can be hard to find and when I find it, I feel I have found an honest company that deserves repeat business. I am now a loyal customer and will contacting them with all of my appliance needs as well as referring people to E&J. Thanks goes to Scott and to this company overall.

I called E&J to fix a leaking washer with a part I had bought. Many places said no- E&J said YES. They got tech out within days! Theo fixed my issue and you can’t ask for a nicer guy and so professional. EVERYONE I spoke with at E&J were so wonderful. I know I’m gushing but I thought service like this was long gone! I will never call another service company other than E&J again.

E & J is awesome. Superior customer service. Great office staff. Clean technicians. Quick service response. And fair and reasonable prices. I recently had a problem with my refrigerator. I decided to give E & J a try. My experience was flawless from start to finish - from the first contact to the continued customer service and relationship that has now been built. I could not be happier. Sometimes it is a little risky to recommend businesses to friends and family - because what it they don't do a good job - now I look like an idiot. Well, E & J has earned my trust and I would not hesitate to recommend them to everybody. These guys have been around for a long time and with this kind of operation, they will be around for many years to come.

Had an issue with our dryer which was still under warranty. E&J was the company assigned to come out. They were able to get us on the schedule the next day and they came out on time. Joey was very professional and friendly, showed me what the issue was and took care of it quickly. I will definitely use E&J again in the future if we have any appliance issues.

You will NOT find a BETTER Appliance repair company that is honest, thorough, thrifty, approachable, experienced and reasonable. My first repair was the dishwasher and Technician Brad was sent. Brad was stellar! He was very experienced, savvy, professional, he always respects cleaning up the area worked on, sharing his knowledge and/or updating me while working what he sees, is doing. He was patient, an expert for sure, and has integrity. Did I mention INTEGRITY. For the above reasons, and as a senior citizen who is not always comfortable with each company's employees, I have to say from initiating the phone call, describing my plight, to the pre-contact prior to arrival, to the repair experience, to getting the jobs done right, to reasonable and fair fees, I HAVE BEEN ONE HAPPY CAMPER with the 2 experiences I gave have had. THANK YOU E&J Appliance Service for having a perfect technician! ...and how many company's can you say THAT about??
