Santiago came to check the dryer and quickly found the issue and repaired it. Really grateful for his swift service and friendly demeanor. He also took the time to explain what was wrong with it and helped us understand what it was going to cost us.

This was a very pleasurable business experience from the get-go. The Dispatcher with A & J was polite and very helpful to this first-time customer. Santiago (the Technician) called ahead of his arrival to my residence. The issue with my ancient GE refrigerator/freezer was diagnosed almost immediately and service was restored lickety-split. A (needed) additional part was ordered and within 2 days the item was accessed and project completed. Top-notch! Me happy!

I have used E and J for both washer and dryer issues and today it was my dishwasher. Jason was awesome, arrived on time (even earlier which was great for my busy schedule) and was honest and reliable. Fixed my dishwasher, didn't try to sell me a new one and very pleasant to work with!

I had my second excellent experience with E&J last week when I had a fridge issue. The owner, Alan, came by to see what was what and we discussed all of the options for resolution. He was the kind of nice and friendly that really makes me miss my midwestern roots. He really went out of his way to make me feel helped and comfortable. The solution was a new part that he got ordered and had Nick come to replace just a day later. Nick was also friendly and very efficient and we now have a fully functional fridge again. And it didn't break the bank! I typically hate dealing with home issues and repair people but I've got these folks on speed dial.

Jason was excellent to work with. I truly appreciated his clear communication and diligence in getting my refrigerator working again. He was both professional and personable throughout the entire process.

Brad fixed our wash machine. He was able to fit us in last minute. He was super kind and helpful! We will definitely be using E&J appliance company again when we need it. I highly recommend them!

E&J Appliance Service Company was amazing, and Alan especially deserves recognition. I put in a request for an upstream ice maker that makes Sonic-style ice. Alan was upfront that he wasn’t sure he could help, and he clearly explained that small appliance companies often don’t make replacement parts for these machines.

Even knowing there was no guarantee, he came out after work just to take a look because he knew how much it meant to me. He asked if he could take it home to dig into it further, and I trusted him completely. I’m so glad I did.

He fixed it. I have my ice back! He charged a very fair rate, set realistic expectations from the start, and still managed to come through. That combination of honesty, effort, and skill is rare.

E & J is highly recommended on NextDoor neighborhood app , and we see why. Was surprised that the owner/founder of the company Ernie, answered the phone. Thank you for your time and expertise helping to diagnose the likely issue with our 15 yr-old LG fridge, researching if parts were still available, running through scenarios of what likely would happen if we repaired it, and, rather than making a dollar yourself, recommending what you knew would be best and most cost-effective for us in the long run (not repairing it). Thank you for your patience when we called back asking even more questions, lol. Huge help, great experience.

We have relied on E&J for help with our appliances a few years back, and it had been positive, so we were confident in calling them again when we needed diagnosis/repair of our 21-year-old washing machine. Santiago showed up right on time, looking clean and neat and professional. He quickly ran through a few steps leading to his confirmation of the diagnosis. He then spent some time researching, and ultimately confirmed that parts are no longer available for this model (something which I independently verified later). Rather than leave me hanging, he answered a few questions I had regarding his experience with other brands, and his responses matched exactly what a different trusted appliance repair professional had shared with us several years ago. While we did need to replace the washing machine, Santiago's quick service and educated advice was valuable to us in making the situation less stressful and much easier to identify our best options.

I contacted Eddie in regards to a spring that was broken on our cooler door. He gave me a very fair price, though unfortunately it was out of our budget for the moment. Dispite taking the time out of his day to research what we would, need he was incredibly understanding about this. Even though I did not get to utilize his services he is one of the most polite, up front people I've spoken to in the service industry in a very long time.
