Constraction reviews in Tempe, Arizona

The crew at Bakers Travertine is very professional and courteous. They’ve restored and sealed our travertine floors a few times over the last 10 years and we are very happy with their service.

Our natural marble shower was in dire need of a deep clean and seal. We are so pleased with Baker’s work. The shower, specifically the off-white grout, looks brand new again. The pricing for the work completed was very fair. We would absolutely recommend them and will be contacting them for regular shower maintenance in the future!

Prior owners of our home painted the flagstone in our backyard and Baker’s was able to strip it all off and seal the stone underneath. In addition to the work we asked for, they went above and beyond to repair grout and even stucco that they didn’t even damage during the paint removal. Overall would definitely recommend.

We had some etching on our marble floors that needed to be repaired. They completed this job quickly and efficiently and the floor looks brand new. If we could rate them higher we would!

Kyle and the crew did an amazing job cleaning and sealing my Travertine. It came out gorgeous! They took care in moving all the furniture back to where it belonged when they finished also. Will definitely have them back!

Baker Travertine takes excellent care of our floors, vanities and countertops. We have used their services twice over the years. Travis, Matt and Mark did excellent work. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a business that knows what they’re doing when it comes to any kind of stone care. They go beyond what the contract says to assure quality in all the details. My floors, countertops and vanities look amazing. We are 100% pleased with Baker Travertine (Travis, Matt and Mark in particular).

Bakers Travertine cleaned and sealed our 12 year old outdoor travertine that had never had any maintenance performed on it before. The travertine had mold, scratches, and dirt. Kyle and his partner meticulously cleaned the travertine, added sand, and sealed the stone. Now it looks brand new. We could not be happier with the result. The team was helpful and courteous the whole way through, scheduling was easy, and follow up has been great.

Myles provided a walkthrough and guidance for cleaning our large outdoor patio with well-weathered travertine tile. He gave a fair and complete assessment of the condition of our tile. Kyle and his team arrived to clean, seal, and repair grout damage for our patio area. I must say that the work performed by Kyle’s team exceeded my expectations in every way. If I didn’t know better, I would say the travertine was installed today even though the tile has been on our patio and facing the Arizona sun for 14 years. Would I hire Baker’s Travertine again? My answer is, “I wouldn’t hire anyone else!” Well done Team Baker’s!

I had Kyle and his guys out to my house to clean and treat my travertine. We beat the rain and they just finished. My backyard looks beautiful. They moved and my patio furniture (and I have a lot) and moved it all back when they finished. They were here when they said they would be and worked hard all day. They were very professional and answered all my questions. It was a pleasure to work with them. I also would like to say thank you to Ray who is in the office and Miles who came out to give me the estimate. Thanks again.

Amazing results. our travertine pavers were installed 8 years ago and were never sealed. They look better today than when new. Every step of the process was explained and professionally executed. Awesome crew. Thank you Bakers Travertine

The entire process start to finish was a great experience! From Miles whom is so knowledgeable to completion of work by the crew Travis, Ivan and Michael of whom were Professional, helpful in providing care tips and left our limestone looking amazing!

I highly recommend this company. I’ve used Bakers Travertine company for many years now, They do amazing job and their team of people are very professional. Kyle and his team came out and did job as promised on time and the results were amazing.
Their customer service is great, they promptly returned my calls and answer all the questions.
Every time they clean and polish my travertine floors they look brand new and beautiful.Thank you!!!

Really great job today by Kyle and team at Baker! They cleaned and polished our travertine floors, and did a few fixes. They were very professional from the time I booked the appointment through completion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This is our second time using Baker.

I had used Bakers in the past for several floor cleanings at my prior home and twice at my current home. The team arrived on time, and all were very courteous . They prepped and moved furniture carefully. Thoroughly deep cleaned my tumbled travertine and polished with medium shine which is beautiful. Highly recommend Baker’s for beautiful floors.

Really bad experience. They claimed to be able to repair flagstone mortar joints. They made a mess of our patio. They also damaged outdoor artwork that cost $350 to have repaired. We have to have all their work redone by someone competent.
Examples of flagstone joint repair and damaged artwork enclosed. Original mortar was off-pink. Bakers used plain gray and didn't fill the cracks.

I was very impressed with job that they did with my Travertine. Before the 3-man crew arrived, Glen had been out to my house and did a very good job of "leveling' Travertine stone that had come loose and unleveled. Glen leveled where ever necessary..

Then, Kyle and his team arrived the following week. Each day they arrived like clock-work at 8am. They were very careful in removing my furniture, and telling me what was going to be done each of the 3 days they were there. All the travertine was carefully cleaned, not blasted apart as had been the case with other power-wash operators; the dirt carefully picked up and stored in their truck. Then, sand was was brushed in between the pieces of tile to replace what time had taken away. Then, they cleaned and washed the tile again before sealing it. The final product has a 'shine' to it, like I've never seen before.

Oh, and they put back all of the furniture just where it should be!! And I was impressed how they cleaned-up the cul-de-sac area where their truck was parked every day. Kyle and his 2-man Crew were very polite and willing to answer any questions I had. All were gentlemen!

End of the day - very impressed with the work, have passed on my recommendations to others in my community. And I will be using them in the future to keep my travertine looking like the day it was installed!!

Amazing job bringing 15 year old tumbled travertine back to life. The workmanship was clean and very professional. The tile and grout were restored back to their original state and the light shine really makes the flooring pop. Not to mention having the stone sealed in a way which will reduce future cleaning effort. Thanks to Kyle and team for a nice job with 1000 sq feet of tile.

I’m very happy with the work done by Kyle and Baker Travertine! They did an excellent job cleaning and sealing my travertine floors — they look brand new again. The team was professional, on time, and took great care to ensure everything was done perfectly. I really appreciate their attention to detail and the quality of their work. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to restore or maintain their stone floors!

Second time I’ve had Bakers Travertine out to the house to restore stone. Last time they did an amazing job and this time just as great. Wish I had some before pics to show just how great these guys can transform dirty old stone to a new finish. The sealer they use is above and beyond any other sealers that other companies used in our home (prior to us using Bakers). Thank you all again, we appreciate you.

I'm totally happy with Baker's Travertine. Kyle and his team were great and very professional. The work ethics and quality of work was just why I called Baker's back. My first experience i had from 14 years ago when first called for Baker's Travertine floor care.
Again, this is a great team, Kyle, Matt, and Tyler.
Very pleased customer!

We have used Bakers Travertine before for our travertine cleaning, polishing and sealing before, and they just finished working on our travertine again today. This time, we also had them clean and seal our front and back patio outdoor pavers, we are so pleased. We are as pleased now as we were a few years ago. Really impressed.

Our travertine floors look as good as they did 17 years ago when we had them laid down. And our pavers look brand new! 100+% pleased with their service. The Miles, Kyle and the staff and crew were prompt, on time and extremely professional. They’re also clear knowledgeable about natural stone and pavers.
They were also very clean, the house was spotless after their work.

We will be their permanent customers without a doubt.
We highly recommend them!
