I worked for Republic West this past year and my experience with the team was enjoyable and rewarding! The team was very caring and detail oriented with every project going on. I joined the team as the new owner Van was taking over and his dedication and oversight to all projects was refreshing to see. Overall Republic West truly cares about the quality and experience it gives their clients.

These guys did a phenomenal job with the work they provided! From the drywall repair to the smart lighting controls and the interior painting, they did great work and came to me highly recommended.

I signed a contract with Republic West in June 2022 to add a bedroom extension to my house. It wasn't a terribly complicated job and the architect (Steve) suggested it would be done by Thanksgiving (but admittedly did not say which year!) Work did not start until spring 2023. Communication was poor and all I was told was that permitting was taking a long time. I even considered using another builder and suing Republic West for recovery of my $19,500 deposit. When work did start, the subcontractor was awful and botched several tasks. He even joked with me after he had failed a city inspection as if it were a laughing matter to me. I have to hold Republic West responsible for foisting such an incompetent and unprofessional subcontractor on me.

So you're probably wondering why I am not giving one or two stars for this review? The reason is that Republic West assigned me a project manager, Dakota McBride, who was outstanding. He was responsive to my calls and complaints, got things remedied, and made sure the project was completed satisfactory, albeit not until the end of 2023, by chasing the new subcontractors and even fixing any of their mistakes himself if they were slow to respond. He's exactly the kind of project manager you want to work with and a very great credit to Republic West. He alone earned them another two stars.

Republic West Remodeling did a remodel for me several years ago. Had such a great experience, I decided to use them again. The designer, Arthur, was very professional and creative and was able to magnify a very small space. Planning Department, Andrew was extremely helpful in explaining all the designer aspects so as to allow me to understand what the final outcome would look like. Project Manager, Dakota, is the best ever. My nature is to question all avenues and understand why or is there a better way. I must say that Dakota is one of the most patient, professional and knowledgeable Project Managers I have worked with. No matter how intense my inquiries were, he never lost his patience and always found a way to meet my expectations. I may have been disappointed due to the physical layout of my room. However, Dakota was able to thoroughly explain the reasons and consistently found solutions. He always keeps me apprised. I do not know the owner, Van, but he has a great team; everyone is an asset to his organization. He should be very proud of their accomplishments. I would highly recommend Republic West Remodeling. No matter how challenging, they will find a way to make you proud of the outcome.

What a great experience I had recently with Republic West. It started with salerep John going over my modifications and detailing how his company would handle it. He was very confident it should only take 3 weeks. After providing the down-payment 2 weeks later I meet Kevin, the Project Manager. He was ready to start right away and we did. Amazing what Kevin and his crew did in 3 weeks, a completely remodeled gym that I had waited a decade to do. Great job, team work and company.

Van and Dakota were great to work with! They were very communicative throughout my renovations. I converted a small shower into built in shelves and expanded the closet underneath my stairs. It was difficult to find someone willing to do this work, but Van and Dakota were very professional and happy to do it. I felt the pricing was fair and good as well.

I used Republic West to do a substantial remodel of my condominium unit. They were great at pre-planning and design and made several useful suggestions at the beginning and during the renovations. They were very good at communication throughout and the results were excellent and they stayed within budget and timeline.

Republic West Remodeling created a slat wall in our living room and built a pergola to cover our patio. They displayed extreme professionalism throughout the process and were very easy to work with. We especially appreciated Project Manager Andrew and his patience throughout the HOA approval process. We will definitely be contacting RWR them for future projects!

We were very happy with the work and staff of Republican West. Our kitchen looks great.

I have engaged RW to remodel my kitchen. Van the owner showed up himself very promptly and was very knowledgeable and professional and gave us some good ideas, unlike 2 other contractors who sent inexperienced staff and took days. They quickly developed highly professional drawings and they have a showroom where cabinets and other items like quartz can be viewed. His staff, particularly Kathy, has been amazingly helpful and took us shopping to find other items and to compare with their showroom. Kathy was excellent with color choices and researched what we asked for and found everything we needed.
Their process is highly professional and we have met Kevin the project manager assigned to the job. They might be a little more expensive but you get what you pay for, they don't cut corners and they are adept at sorting out issues that arise and you get highly personal attention. Van is always available and their communication is prompt and responsive.
Construction has not yet started and I will report on that later, but the design process has been top notch.

Terrible experience with Republic West Remodeling! DO NOT USE THEM. We had work done and they did not and will not fix the improper workmanship! LOOK AT THE PICTURES! We new flooring installed and less then 2 years later it all needs to be replaced. We went with R.W. because they had a nice showroom and great customer service. That was until there was an issue and then there was no call backs, no communication and they wanted to give us a "discount" to replace the floor IF we did the second phase of the remodel with them. Terrible business practices, ethics and workmanshiT!

Republic West Remodeling replaced our sliding doors on the back of our house. They are now energy efficient and gorgeous. The team from Republic West was great. Very communicative, clean and easy to work with. We felt we got a great deal. Highly recommend them for home remodeling.

I had reached out to Republic West to fix cracked stucco and a bowing wall on the side of my home. The outcome was wonderful, Steve came out to work on it and it was completed swiftly. I would gladly use their services again!

Republic West did an amazing job building my duel bay RV garage. The pricing was extremely completive and favorable without sacrificing quality. Defiantly stood out as a trustworthy option in a world of inconsistent and shady contractors.

So this was an unexpected discovery of this company Republic West Remodeling & in particular their associate Angela…

I have matching cabinets throughout my home that were installed 10+ years ago but a Republic West Home the predecessor company. A 3 inch chip has developed on the door for the trash cans in the kitchen… I see it every day.

I happened to find a delivery receipt for the original company & called the number on that receipt. Angela answered the phone & informed that they really don’t do repair work & that they probably don’t have records that far back; but she said to send some pictures & perhaps they could track something down, she’d talk to the owner & the designer & perhaps they could help me track down the manufacturer name or a possible solution.

Angela’s already texted back to say they’re working on it.

No matter what happens this kind of extra mile goodwill deserves appreciation!

Highly recommend Van with Republic West for their professionalism and expertise. They were a pleasure to work with and made a stressful situation much easier by being transparent and approachable. They didn’t rush the process; instead, they ensured they had a full grasp of the problem and walked me through the solutions step-by-step. A truly reliable and friendly professional.

We came down to AZ to find a winter home. We found an original 1980 home that hadn't been touched. It was a time capsule of sorts. Republic West was recommended by friends. Van Hansen, the owner, met us at the house during inspection to discuss the project and provide an estimate to see if it was worth the investment to bring it into 2024. We closed on the house in April 2024 and the renovation started after Memorial Day. Being out of state, we needed a full service contractor. We put our trust in the Company to complete the project while we were several states away. Republic West took great care of our home during the process. Our Project Manager, Dakota, provided photos and videos along the way. We arrived in early November. The house was ready in time to spend our first winter in the desert. We would highly recommend Republic West.
