Extremely poor customer service. They claim to provide system monitoring to ensure efficient operations. My system was not operating properly for 2 months. When I alerted them to this fact it took them 2 weeks to get a repairman to my home. They told me that they don't monitor systems despite what they tell you during their sales pitch. So apparently the homeowner is supposed to check the monitoring system on a daily base . As a result of their incompetence, I have almost a $1000 worth of electric bills that I have to pay..

Clayco took on a job many other companies did not support. I needed to work on my roof, so they pulled my PV hardware off the roof till I was done. Then, they came back and put them back up better than they were.

The entire Clayco team was great to work with for my solar installation. They kept me informed every step of the way. I'm very pleased with Clayco and would highly recommend them for your solar installation.

I had decided to go with Clayco to install Solar Panels on my home because the company's Project Manager Mike Kirk was well informed, professional, and instilled confidence in the quality of the work. However, throughout the couple months work, promised phone calls from the office were often late and had to be prompted by me to communicate. At completion of installation, I had over 2 dozen lag bolts driven down through my ceiling. The owner Clay Maudlin was extremely brash, rude, and blamed me for not having informed Clayco I had beamed ceilings. There were also 3 solar panels which were not secure on the roof and I had to hire another company to fix them. This company caused me months of ongoing stress ultimately resulting in my reporting them to the Arizona Review of Contractors.

Trustworthy & competent solar contractor in Tucson. Clayco Electric impressed us from cost estimate to completion. Each member of their team had the right expertise to understand our individual solar needs. The cost was reasonable, the installation high quality, and they completed our project on time and within budget.

We installed a 10 kW Tesla Powerwall system with Icon Power earlier this year. System has been working fantastic with keeping the Trico bills low. The crews also did an awesome job, and helped with any issues that popped up in a really timely manner. Very pleased with our decision!

I signed up for the Tucson coop with SUN. ICON Power was selected as the vendor and deadline was in Spring. I couldn't make the deadline, but by January I was interested in pursuing solar. I contacted ICON power and they agreed to do an estimate and honor the pricing given to the coop many months earlier. I was impressed. They sent out a representative who took us through the process answered all our questions. After more research on them as a company we decided to go with them and signed a contract. The contract was simple and straight forward.
The process followed the steps that were outlined. It went fairly quickly through all the steps. Installation occurred without any issues and took only 2 days. We were there one day but not the other. Coordination between ICON and TEP and our Town was very good and activation of the system was completed . The price was the original price that was quoted and no changes occurred.
All in all it was a painless experience. Our representative was very responsive to calls and questions. We are now generating power. Thank you TEP for such a positive experience.

I researched and talked with at least three solar companies. One had dishonest reps and was the absolute worst. The second one’s rep was not very knowledgeable or at least couldn’t communicate it. And then there was ICON. Zach Sweety was our rep. He did a fantastic job from the get go. He ALWAYS kept me informed, every step of the way as to what the next step was. The installers were very pleasant and did a great job. I was very, very impressed with ICON throughout whole process and would highly recommend giving them a call for your solar needs.

Icon power was just awesome. Any question we had was answered quickly and with professionalism. From the first meeting with Drew to the last chat with him the time seemed to fly by. We were approved quickly and the installation began. The animals in my house didn't like the noise but it wasn't as bad as we thought. A few days later we were getting our meter and producing power. If you are looking for solar you must give them a call. Just fantastic.

Ivan was exceptional throughout the sales process, shepherding it thru the approval process, and the post install process. He is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The install team was very professional, the install was quick and clean. The whole process was effortless on our part, the Icon Power team took care of everything.

We are so happy we chose to work with Zach at Icon Power. He is incredibly knowledgeable and very patient with people who have a lot of questions (us). His team was on time and great to work with. ICON Power installed a 51 panel solar system at my residence. The installers did a great job and I'm satisfied with the mechanical and electrical work they accomplished.  However, I had several questions during the project, and never got any help or answers out of their customer service.  At the beginning of the project, I was assigned a customer service representative and his signature block on emails said he was a "customer service concierge". If I asked a question by email or text he would either say I'll get right back to you, or not answer at all.  Never got back to me on most correspondence. "Concierge" is definitely the wrong description of that person's job. I called their customer service phone number several times.  It usually rang off the hook, but someone did answer twice.  With the first call I asked to speak to a manager, but none were available, so the rep said she would have one call me back.  No call.  I called the number again some days later, and that rep said she was a manager, so I told her my current question, and she gave an answer. No one had given me an answer up to that point, so I asked her to put in an email, and she said she would do that.  No email. In summary, the installation was great, and of course that's the most important aspect of the project.  The customer service is non-existent and they could save some money by deleting the customer service group since they don't do anything.
