I have used this company twice. First time to upgrade my electrical panel prior to having new air conditioner/furnace installed. Just very recently to replace housing in ceiling light in a bedroom. They are very professional, punctual, very knowledgeable and friendly, as well. I would definitely recommend them to whomever is in need of electrical work.

Recently, I flipped the light switch on in our kitchen. Instead of the light, there was a loud popping sound and a tripped breaker, coupled with a few sparks from the fixture above. We called Duffy Electric. Brenda was friendly, prompt, and helpful in securing an electrician to assess the situation. My wife reported that the electrician, David, arrived on time, was professional, knowledgeable, assessed and explained the issue, and took the necessary steps to fix the problem. Thank you.

Duffy Electric's electrician was clearly very experienced and diagnosed and then found our electrical problem in short time fixing other potential future issues he found along the way. They were recommended by a friend's cousin in the industry. I was very impressed and will call on them if I ever have another problem.

I am so pleased with Duffy Electrical's service. They have been the best business I've worked with for ANY of the work I've had done on my home, electrical or otherwise. They were exceptionally organized and professional at all times. They came quickly to give me an accurate estimate, Jerry was an absolute delight and both very knowledgeable and practical about the solutions for my individual needs. They're available by email and sent the written estimate to me quickly. (I love this. Brenda once replied in less than five minutes. I wish more companies were really available by email, it so helps me stay organized while traveling.) They were up front about what could and could not be done as well as what probably wasn't worthwhile, completed everything when they said they would and to a high standard. They even coordinated with another company doing work on an adjoining system - and worked around their schedule when that company was much more poorly organized. I will absolutely call them for any and all electrical work in the future and highly recommend them.

SPE is amazing! We use them for all our electrical needs. They set up new breaker panels for our shop, wired the shop with its own breaker panel, ran 50 amp lines for our rv hookups, ran a dedicated line for our laser to the second story of the house, all kinds of security lights... you will not be disappointed if you hire them to do your electrical work!

This is one of those gem companies that blew my expectations away. We had electrical issues into our home that pretty much left us without AC during 100+ degree weather. Also had family visiting in a few days. SPE was able to send an electrician out within an hour due to the urgency. In fact, I think it was more like 25 minutes. The issue was with the main circuit-breaker which isn't something you can fix in a day. It took a total of 5 days due to coordinating with TEP and everything else that goes with that kind of job. Scott was amazing, and even helped me look for a generator and made sure my proposed temporary solution would work to keep our HVAC running while we waited. They even had the parts that I couldn't find anywhere in town to connect a generator large enough for our needs(50A inlet, which I couldn't find anywhere). You can't use a 30A and expect it to work. Just for reference I'm a prior aircraft electrician. It's a different world, but I've got a decent idea how expensive some of the work is and how hard it can be to coordinate. The work was phenomenal and very competitively priced. I actually contacted 5 other electrical companies before SPE, and I'm really glad I ended up with SPE. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone needing electrical work, especially if it's an emergency. FYI, make sure you calculate for wattage if you try to run your entire house on a generator. Needed a 220 line for a new hot tub install, and our spa dealer set up the work with SPE. They came out super-quick for the estimate (only a couple of days from the initial call), even showed up a day early for the actual work. Everything was done with attention to safety & detail, very clean install. Highly recommend them.
