SPE Electrical was terrific. All of the work was done well and for a reasonable price. Chris, our installer, did a great job communicating with us when he knew he would be delayed. We're already planning for the next work we're going to have done by SPE Electrical.

I definitely recommend SPE! They sent one of their team members, Daniel, out within 2 hours of my call and he was able to make the needed repairs in less than an hour! I am very grateful that I called SPE and will definitely use them for any electrical issues in the future.

I own an old house with Many DIY "fixes" from the 70s and 80s. Outlets started sparking and crackling....turns out many weren't grounded. David came out to help us and my house is now safe. He also put up with my crazy 1 year old lab and was very gracious about her exuberance. SPE is the only company I've ever used, and they Always do quality work. 100% recommend them.

I have no complaints about the technician or the actual work done on my home. My complaint is with the office staff. It is frustrating dealing with them as they don't seem to interact with the general public very often, and I found the attitudes off-putting. I haven't had an older house before that needed to have an electric panel and subpanel replaced. I still need to have the subpanel replaced, but I think I'll be taking by business elsewhere in the future rather than working with them again.
SPE replaced my aged FPE panel on July 30, 2025, and I am very pleased with the outcome. They were right on time and the electrician doing the work was very professional, and left the area clean.

SPE was great at communicating, showed up in the time frame they said they would, and worked through the multiple tasks seamlessly. I appreciated the problem solving to come up with effective solutions. They left the job site clean and would be happy to have them back again.

Tech arrived on time with all the equipment he needed. He assessed the job and laid out a plan. He quickly got to work and completed the task of running a new dedicated electrical line from the fuse box to a back bedroom. He was very need a did great job without wasting any time. So far SPE has substantially reworked my house bring it up to current code, did the wiring on a garage Addison including installing an EV charger as well as undertaking several other smaller projects. I’m very happy with them and have been using them for I guess the last 10 years.

I used SPE Electrical Services for the first time this past week, and I am very comfortable using them again.
The SPE technician, Eric, replaced a very old outlet behind my stove/oven. He is young, but confident, very focused and meticulous with his work.
The office staff is respectful and efficient.
Rates are definitely competitive and fair.
I will be using them again very soon to catch up on some electrical issues I’ve been putting off.

Exceptional service and on time and very professional. Used them for a few projects at our house and business from a complete rewire in a room addition and exterior lights to installing new fixtures and fans.

We had a GFI that had been working fine but started tripping, leaving us without lights and outlets at our outdoor kitchen, patio and pergola. SPE started methodically tracing wires and conduits to/from junction boxes, switches, lights and outlets until he located and fixed the source of the trouble. Everything is working fine now. He also identified an unused outside GFI outlet that had failed.

A contractor recommended SPE. Electrician showed up on time and resolved problem within an hour. If there is an electrical problem again, they will be my first call!

SPE Electrical Services was recommended to me by a trusted source as a highly regarded company. I contacted them by phone and my call was answered immediately, my information was taken, and I was scheduled for an estimate on the work I needed done at my residence.

Ashley and Scott promptly arrived on the day scheduled. I told them what I needed, they looked over the job, explained clearly what they would do, and answered a few questions.

The estimate was emailed to me the next morning. Looking it over, everything I thought needed to be delineated was. I had thought of a few more questions by then, so I called their office and spoke with Scott, who answered them thoroughly.

When it comes to service providers, I have high expectations for professionalism: SPE has met them.

Eric was on time, professional and thorough! He helped me load an app that lets me see how my new EV charger is using power, gave me choices regarding the path conduit would follow and cleaned up when he finished the job.

As a board member for Presidio Village Homeowners Association, we discovered estimates vary widely in Tucson for electrical work. Needing upgrades to an older lighting system SPE was able to present several lighting options and price points.
They were patient with our need for multiple proposals and instructive regarding codes and best practices.

SPE did a great job on my electrical panel upgrade. The new 200 Amp panel looks great and was professionally installed. SPE coordinated with TEP to run the new wires from the pole to the house, and they coordinated with the City of Tucson for the inspections.

I had a terrible experience using SPE for my kitchen remodel.
Had a quote for the entire job from my usual electrician who has done quite a lot of work for me on previous jobs. Unfortunately he was not available for the kitchen remodel but did provide me with an estimate for $2800 to be completely in no longer than 2 days. SPE mentioned they could do the work and the cost would be close to that figure.
Well, after over a week on and off and $5100 dollars later the job was finally finished by SPE. The work was second rate at best.
Now I need a Drywaller to come out and clean up there mess.
I strongly recommend not using SPE for any electrical work!

Will was honestly amazing. He did all the prep work ahead of time, got permits lined up, started the project, and completed it within 4-5 hours. Even the guy from TEP was amazed. Plus, he carries a happy demeanor, and was pleasant to have around. Hard worker, very experienced and organized, genuine smile. I would highly recommend 2nd Gen Electric!
