The couple of hiccups we had were quickly remedied as John went above and beyond to make it right. A company, especially a small business like Rincon, that owns up to any mistakes and goes out of their way to make it right deserves five stars in my book. Especially in today's world. Our new ac is awesome. Nice and quiet. Keeps this old house cool even with constant use of the front door being opened and closed all day. If you're in need of anything ac related, give Rincon a call!

I have called them several times and they are always quick and ready to help! Ivan is the service tech that has been at our house and I can’t say enough great things about him! Other companies have left us in heat or not come at all, some scheduled us weeks out. Rincon has the techs to back up the times needed and did I mention they are quick!

These guys are affordable, fast, professional HVAC engineers. Our AC failed on Saturday, and they were out the next day. Got our AC back up and running within an hour! Cannot recommend them enough

Rincon Air installed my new A/C unit several years ago and has maintained it since via a service contract. The folks who come out to do the service have always been conscientious, clean, polite, and knowledgeable. The one time I had a concern, I had an immediate response. I'm so glad I switched from the other company.

We "Highly Recommend" this company !!! Within a couple of weeks of moving to town and buying our new condo...the AC went out. We started calling around various contractors and it became clear Rincon was the most professional. They didn't just "give us a bid". The helped educate us about the problem and also the new replacement they recommended. They showed up on time for all phases of the process. Perfect clean up afterwards and their "after the sale" process to make sure we were happy was excellent. We can't recommend this company enough.

Not sure the name of the tech you sent but THANK YOU. My AC went out back in 2018 in July and it took 3 visits and 3 1/2 weeks for my home warranty to get the compressor replaced. I called your company at 10:30 AM today, which is undoubtedly your busiest time of season and it was fixed by 4:00 PM this afternoon.  Your tech even checked and cleaned the ceiling filter. Not to mention he had the compressor fan assembly on the truck. 1 and done same day service. My family and I thank you. I called Rincon because we needed a new AC unit in a hurry. The owner was great, he provided some much needed information and advice. The house was outside of their normal service area and we had to use a different company, but the customer service was above and beyond. It was such a relief to have a company be honest and helpful even though we were not able to work with them! Strongly recommend giving them a call.

I've been using Rincon for many years, both for inherited HVAC and new installations.....They are responsive, (very important in our desert climate) courteous, will explain what you need to know, and with minimum fuss, get the job done. Their services are thorough, and the guys in the office are long standing team members. The service techs are a pleasure.

Rincon Air Conditioning & Heating was a breath of fresh air when we needed an HVAC system installed in Tucson. We had just experienced a horribly unprofessional situation with another HVAC company in Tucson who removed our AC unit during the peak of summer and THEN told us the next day that they did not have the unit we had ordered from them. Rincon came to our rescue and not only had the equipment we wanted in stock but provided responsive and thorough service from start to finish. Our Rincon sales representative, Neil Chamberlain, was fabulous to work with and is still responsive to answering our post-installation questions. The Rincon installation team was also polite, conscientious and thorough, from the removal of our old system to installing the new one.
Rincon may not be the cheapest company to go with in town, but we learned our lesson that cheap doesn’t mean good quality. Rincon was worth paying the extra money.

Very happy with Rincon. We bought our unit from Rincon and today Ben did a maintenance check-up under their 3-year warranty agreement, all is well.

Highly recommend Rincon. My 25-year-old HVAC system failed on one of the coldest mornings of the year. The company I had been using did not come through. I called RIncon and they sent a tech that afternoon, got the system going and kept it running until could install a new unit (this was during the holidays). Installation was very smooth. As noted, all their techs are very professional, knowledgeable, always punctual.

Awful Customer Service, Unqualified, Dangerously Poor Workmanship

Rincon sent Ben to check on problems a new AC unit in my friends home. From the start, there were major red flags. Neil claimed to be a certified technician, but his responses to my questions raised serious doubts about his qualifications.

My sweet, trusting friend thought they were honest because they were friendly and were recommended, but these guys repeatedly shot down our patient, numerous attempts to do what were considered simple fixes to embarrassing install short cuts, by other HVAC professionals we hired and consulted.

Dismissive and Intimidating

When I pointed out significant issues with the installation, both Neil and Ben became dismissive and even intimidating. They insisted these problems were "normal," despite clear evidence to the contrary. I felt pressured to accept their non explanations, but I have documented everything with recordings and video.
I couldn't get my friend to file with the Arizona registrar of contractors or take them to small claims court as she's not in the best health and is busy caring for others.

Health Concerns and Incompetence

The improper installation not only compromised the unit's functionality but also led to tremendous mold, creating a serious health hazard. This situation could have been avoided with proper installation techniques and a genuine concern for customer safety as one example of several they bestowed on my friend. Others included frivolous diagnosis, system sizing, and removal of existing equipment that was in excellent condition.

Look Elsewhere for True Professionals

If you're looking for a professional and trustworthy HVAC company in Tucson, I urge you to look elsewhere. My experience with Neil and Ben were appalling, and their complete disregard for customer service and quality workmanship is unacceptable.

We bent over backwards to give you the benefit of the doubt and ample time to fix the huge problems that should be foundational basics of any quality installation.

We understand people have problems in life that add to mistakes but this was over a long enough period with such demonstrable proof, you made it clear you were set in your dogma.

I rarely give negative reviews to small businesses especially, but i feel it's our duty to help our neighbors with such blatant disrespect of our hard earned dollars.

I'll refrain from adding reviews with links to my evidence on Yelp, Facebook and Next Door, in hopes you become more interested in quality control for everyone, but give made it very difficult.

I hope you give good reasons for me to revise this review by treating current and future customers repair, maintenance, and installations with a lot more care, but it's going to take a while.

I chose Rincon mostly out of a hat, given how many AC places there are, but I was happy to support local to replace my whole AC system. My choice was rewarded, as the team here put customer service at the front for me. No upsell, timely, fast turn out, professional, no fuss. Recommended.

Can't recommend them enough. Had the best quote for completely new system at primary residence. Quick install within stated time period, and when a manufacturer's defect caused issues on a Saturday, they had it fixed asap and gave us a portable unit to use while they waited on the part. Had another problem at a rental property, and they came out within 3 hours of my call. Took care of the part warranty so I didn't have to deal with the company/pay for it. They're great value and amazing service.

I get my AC and heat checked every year and Rich is my guy.He knows my unit which is extremely old and does a great job maintaining it.He is very professional and explains everything in detail.I give Rich 5+ starts and recommend him and Rincon air.
