Scott Knight, and his colleague Bob, from Arrow Seal in Tucson did a fantastic job yesterday cleaning and sealing our air ducts. The leakage was equivalent to a 101 square inch hole on their initial test. After they finished sealing both manually and then with the Aeroseal product leakage was down to a 3 square inch hole.

That equals a 97% reduction in leakage (and 97% reduction of dust/allergens, etc getting pulled into ducts)

I was interested in having my ducts cleaned and sealed just as maintenance for my home and due to the never ending dusting that I seemed to be doing. I was not ready for the level of leakage that my house showed when Scott tested it. No wonder the upstairs never cooled down in the summer months and the AC never seemed to rest. Since having the ducts cleaned and sealed, the upstairs of my house cools down and I can actually feel the air coming out of the vents upstairs when standing at a distance. Before I would find myself putting my hand up to the vent to see if air was coming out. The air quality is considerably better and my son with severe allergies isn't coughing and sneezing constantly. Scott went above and beyond by disconnecting my swamp cooler that hadn't been used in over a decade, sealing the vents where it entered the house, and repairing the rusted portion. He checked all areas of the system and hand sealed the larger gaps that the sealant cannot remedy. It was a very involved process on Scott's part, but my son and I just stayed out of the way and remained home enjoying our day. Scott Knight was professional throughout the day of work, wore a mask the entire time, and his dedication to doing the job right was clear throughout. Scott and his helper (Bob) did an excellent job at my townhome cleaning and repairing all the leaks in my duct system. They also sprayed in Aeroseal which really helped. My husband and I are very happy we hired Scott of Arrow Seal of Tucson for cleaning and sealing our air ducts. We first had considered another company but when I sought a second opinion and estimate, it was obvious Scott is a true professional who knows his trade and takes pride in his company as he is the owner. He and his associate Bob, are very friendly (my pups even loved them), and they are conscientious about doing a professional and clean job at a fair price.
The following day, I remembered our dryer wasn't operating efficiently and thought the air duct needed cleaning so Scott returned that day. He found the metal portion near the roof exit was broken in two parts and sketched me a picture. He made recommendations for a metal fabricator to come out and make repairs. The fabricator said his sketch and recommendations were 100% correct. Scott then came back and cleaned the duct at another fair price.
Now the air loss in our air ducts went from a 230 to a 3, and our dryer is operating better.

We have a 30 year old swamp cooler duct system that went from double digit percent leakage to under 1%. The work went off without a hitch and was cleaned up nicely afterwards.

We decided to look into duct cleaning and sealing due to health issues. Scott, the owner, came out on time for a site visit and quote. He provided one that seemed reasonable for 3 people estimated to spend pretty much a full day. We agreed to and scheduled the work and they arrived, on time and as planned. I was surprised at how much time and equipment it takes to do the job properly. Scott and his crew did a totally professional job, working hard and continuously but carefully, with no nonsense, covering floors and rugs as needed for protection. When done, he provided a before and after leakage report. He had also gone above and beyond in properly sealing up the heat pump connection on the roof, which had never been done properly by the equipment installers. Their dedication to doing the best possible job is rare in today's world. The improvement in the quality of the air and the improved efficiency was noticeable and worth the investment. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic work from Scott and his team. Scott came out to provide a quick time and cost estimate. They did the work faster than expected and didn't add any surprise charges. The team was very timely, professional, and friendly. They were cautious of our cats during their work and cleaned up after. They cleaned decades of dust out of the vents, filled small gaps with aeroseal, and repaired a massive gap which together improved our pressure by a factor of 10! Can't recommend them highly enough.

Steam Smart did a full carpet clean in our three bedrooms and they did a great job of cleaning the high traffic areas ... The rest of the carpet looks nice too! They arrived when promised and were efficient with the cleaning. Will definitely use them again!
