The people at Able are great. They go the extra mile to supply super service and keep customers happy. A few have proved short on training, and once or twice it has looked like they were installing new equipment they were not yet familiar with. I notice the business needs a website, and the website should tell us what lines of product they carry so we can check possibilities out beforehand and get us all a better deal.

They worked on my non functioning unit in a new house I bought and charged $750 , which I had to pay in advance . After they did the work it still didn’t cool properly and was very noisy. They then told me I should have never worked on it in the first place as it was old?
It then quit completely 2 weeks later and when I called them I was told they didn’t guarantee their work anyway and they refused to come back out to look at it again - told me to go elsewhere

I have been using Able Refrigeration since the 1980's and obviously have been more than satisfied with them. My recent experience was, as expected, excellent. They are very thorough, knowledgeable, do the job right the first time and leave the area as good as or better than it was. I highly recommend them. I have used them for my personal residence as well as two business.

Of course the old unit died on the hottest day of summer as expected. We paid the gold price for relatively fast (3day) replacement new unit. We asked for some documentation and warranty documents TWICE, and have yet to receive a thing. We did get the Spanish instructions for the new wall thermostat thank you very much. So, do we have any warranty? Was the unit itself actually a NEW unit? We'll never know. It's still cranking so six grand later I guess we're good. Oh and the quote promised drain connection to the existing drain that never happened. They did stop back briefly to channel the drain water off the slab over to the gravel so I guess?

Granted HVAC service during a historic hot August is not easy. Not sure at this point if I would recommend them to friends.

The condensation pump on my air conditioner was plugged up - water backing up in the closet. Called around 3PM and they were there within 3 hours - fixed everything, cleaned up the water - they were great as always. I highly recommend them - have been using them for 22 years - and never once was disappointed.

My air conditioning was not working properly and they had two technicians come out. The first technician did not wear a face covering but replaced a part. I had to call them back several hours later as the AC unit was still not working. They came out the following day . The second tech determined our compressor was not working properly and suggested we needed a whole new unit for over $6000. We had another company give us second opinion and they found two wires had been chewed by pack rats . They were repaired and the AC working great! I find it amazing that two of their technicians came out and either on notice that two wires were chewed down ...you think they would’ve checked that our first. So glad we got a second opinion we will never use Able refrigeration

I have used Able Refrigeration Multiple times in the past 3 years due to the exceptional service!
I had splits installed in my home, which reduced my utility bills so much that I added another to the guest house a year later !
Just recently I had them install a tankless water heater. They did this at short notice due to a leak in my propane water heater. They worked late to finish the job. I would not hesitate to refer them and to use them for all future services!!
Always a job well done!

Been with Able since the 1990s and have always has good advice and service.insalled a new high SEER heat pump which I am very happy with.

The technician that came to my moms house, was friendly & professional & showed up right on time as scheduled. He did a full inspection on the A/C & made recommendations to make our system more efficient. I experienced world class customer service & friendly office staff. I highly recommend this company to all my family & friends.

Ron and his staff helped me choose a new energy efficient system and made sure everything was installed to my pickiness and liking. He offered an extremely fair price that other companies couldn't beat. On top of this, Ron made extra trips out to inspect the work of his staff and another trip just to come out mark my breaker and teach me how they were set up for my house. I am having a problem getting a part for programming my AC unit and the front office has contacted ME regularly to keep me updated. They return my calls very quickly and respond to emails quickly. When I realized I had not gotten the programming component, they ordered it and will install it at their cost despite it not being an original component because Ron promised me a programmable AC. They deliver what they promise, are professional, responsive, and personable and I feel genuinely blessed to have found this company. My June AC bill was 105$ for an 1100 SQ ft house and I am cool and comfortable in the room I want cooled!

P. S. I was sceptical about the part being delayed and called the AC manufacturer myself. Everything Able Refrigeration said about the part was completely correct. I appreciate Linda staying on top of the problem from the manufacturer!!

After limping our AC system year after year (bought our home in 2011 and system now 15 years old) we decided that we were no longer going to sink thousands of dollars year after year at the recommendation of an overpriced company with tv commercials and look for an honest company that genuinely cares about their customers.

Our good friend recommended Redington Renovations Heat and Cooling. We asked them for an estimate and within a few days they dropped by our home and gathered the necessary information. The next day we got the estimate and we could not believe it! We replied immediately with a “hells yes please” and the very next week they came to our home with all the needed equipment!
This company is EXCELLENT! Everyone was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. They took their time and did things right, both inside and outside. They took the old systems out and redid it all. Again, using quality parts!
Their folks were always willing to work hard to get this massive job done, no complaints! These poor guys had some challenges due to our original ac contractor who took a few shortcuts unfortunately.
In the end, the vacuumed the entire area, carpet, attic, floors. They even swept outside on our stepping stones and near our gate! They don’t leave until everything was working perfectly!
We want everyone to know that paying those TV commercial companies is a total waste of money and time.
Please consider gives this company your business, they are all hard working and honest. Hard to come by these days!
