I needed a 40' trench dug in some tough soil for a drainage system installation. Steve with HLC came out and looked everything over and presented me with a FANTASTIC quote and was there the next morning and completed the job.
My fiancé and I were so impressed with their quality of work. We will be using them in our new house when the need arises.
VERY affordable and professional company. I highly recommend them.

Horticare just finished a fairly large project for my wife and I (a retaining wall on a very sloped front yard, beds, drainage, and irrigation). We are extremely happy with the results. The Horticare team was professional and kept us up to date with everything. The project took about 5 weeks, which was over the estimated time. However, rather than rushing to complete the job, they took their time to make sure it was done correctly. We worked with Kevin Brinkley as the designer. The majority of the work was done by Jose and his crew. You could tell that they really took pride in the quality of their work and we won't hesitate to recommend them.

We have used Horticare several times. Each time we have been terrifically satisfied and pleased. All their personnel are nice, friendly and accommodating. Their work crews come to WORK, no lost motion..We WILL use Horticare again.

I contacted Going the Extra Mile and was very pleased with their service. They responded quickly to my inquiry and their work was excellent. The crew is very polite and they work quickly. Very satisfied!!!! My neighbor even got an estimate from them after they finished my yard.

In late February 2022, here in Little Rock we had ice. I was iced in for several days. Finally I called Going the Extra Mile. The gentlemen there came out the very next morning, early, and assessed the situation. Then they went to the supply store and bought de-icer. They came back and took care of 22 wooden steps and three landings leading up to my second floor unit. I am 70 and had no help. These fellows saved the day for me. They responded quickly, showed up right on time, did the work perfectly, and really went the extra mile. The fee was perfectly reasonable, and I was glad to pay. Call these gentlemen for whatever you might need. They are reliable, pleasant, and effective.

These guys came out and cleaned up our flowerbeds, placed a drain and buried another drain, trimmed trees, and even made a new flowerbed plus mulched all of the flowerbeds (and there are A LOT) and did such a great job! They are quick and professional. I would recommend them to anyone! It is like a different yard!

They were able to get to us quickly to repair our sprinkler system. They work fast. We had a leak in the line repaired and some sprinkler heads that were too short replaced.

I emailed the “contact us” with a request for an estimate with pictures. 2 weeks, no reply. Emailed the main guy directly to check up on it. 2 weeks, no reply. I call, I was told “next Tuesday we’ll get out there. Tuesday came and went, no answer. I call again, they say “later today we’ll definitely get out there”. No answer, no call saying they got busy or something, nothing.

Their reviews show they they’re supposedly the best, but no customer service for me to just get a dang estimate, who knows how long the work would take.

Updated info: gentleman came out, very nice, took a look, however no estimate has been sent yet.

Going the extra mile has been handling our yard service for well over a year. Outstanding customer service and excellent work at a great price. Any additional work needed, they have been quick to respond and very reasonable on prices. Best yard service I have found in my 15 years of providing maintenance to any of my facilities.

Although I had a "not-so-great" experience initially, Mr. Cedric did come out, as promised, after my review.

I had top soil delivered and grass seed spread in my backyard. Cedric and his crew do great work and they also get the job done quickly. I will definitely call them again.

I am having two projects done by this company: a landscaping of my yard (3 sides) and a realignment of the sprinkler system. The first project is nearly done, and it is a significant improvement over what I have ever had. I am particularly pleased with the south side work, which was terribly eroded. The landscapers have built a retaining wall, back-filled with soil and eco-friendly plants, and thus created a lovely area that will be maintenance-free in the future. The second project is underway, and it corrects (and improves upon) a sprinkler system I had installed more than 15 years ago. This one includes a drain so that my yard doesn't drown in heavy rains as well as a repositioning of some of the sprinkler heads so that the plants that have survived our combo freeze/drown are encouraged to flower and thrive. I'm very excited to get all this work done so very well.

Update: After reading my review the owner came back out and we worked out the price. They are truly customer oriented.
My fault for not asking about pricing before they started the work. I had a sprinkler head replaced and all sprinklers adjusted about 2 years ago and it was $130 so I was expecting around that price.
I just paid Going the extra mile landscaping service $300 to replace one sprinkler head. The original invoice was for $355 and after a discussion about the unexpected cost we agreed to $300. They were very professional and responsive and would use them again if not for the price.

Cedric is a great guy who really takes care of things in a timely manner. He is a can do guy with a winning personality, and a pleasure to do business with! Would highly recommend Cedric and his company!

Cedric and his crew were amazing! I have a large, cumbersome yard and they whipped it right into shape. They worked efficiently and professionally. I am going to schedule them to come back quarterly to maintain our lawn. I highly recommend them to everyone!

I had a French drain done by Going the Extra Mile Landscaping. Cedric, the boss, kept me up to date of the progress, so I had good control of my schedule. He and his crew did a good job, and “going the extra mile” by laying more sod than he should. The sod was beyond the original estimate. Thanks a lot!
