From the initial call and meeting, Cedrick was prompt in answering the phone and keeping us posted on his process in preparing the yard and installing a French drain. Our side yard was exceptionally challenging to access and his team had trees removed (including stumps) and installed the drain which has already been tested by recent downpours. Since completion, not a drop of water has invaded our basement!! Our investment the peace of mind and safety!!!

Cedric and his team arrived at my house ready to work! And boy did they work quickly to repair, move, and adjust several heads in my sprinkler system. They explained what they were doing and overall we’re great guys to deal with. I can recommend Going the Extra Mile for your lawn care needs.

I recently hired Cedric and his team at Going the Extra Mile for a landscape update to my front yard beds and new sod for the yard. They also trimmed a small tree, pruned a few bushes, moved some heavy clay pots and enhanced a watering faucet, making it easier for me to operate. This was my second good experience with the company, the other about three years ago. They are highly efficient, promptly return phone calls, are courteous and quite talented in their profession. I find their pricing to be reasonable. Cedric can be trusted to do what he says he will do. He is a Master Gardener and has been in this business for 20+ years. I love being able to support small businesses and this small business is a winner. Give them a try.

My husband and I were so unhappy with the drainage problem we had in our backyard that we had decided to sell our home that we truly loved. My husband googled and found Going The Extra Mile Landscaping Company and gave them a call. They responded immediately and were here within 48 hours after our phone conversation. Long story short is they showed us the problem and quickly came to our home with helpers ( some of the nicest people you will meet) and started working on fixing the issues we had and also as a bonus I got a beautiful landscaped backyard! We are so pleased with our backyard now and I can’t say enough good things about this company. If anyone has any drainage problems or needs landscaping I highly recommend this company. Cedric and his team did an excellent job on our flower beds. They were knowledgeable, respectful and caring when it came to helping us achieve exactly what we wanted. They took our beds down to bare minimum and completely rebuilt them and helped us in choosing what plants would look best for our home. He also helped us remove several old stumps from our yard that were bad eye sores. Out of 5 contractors we called for estimates, Cedric was the only person to call us back. They did an incredible job and I will keep his information on hand for any future jobs needed.

We contacted Going the Extra Mile about a sodding project. Cedric came by in an extremely timely manner and after showing him what we had in mind, asked him to look at a backyard problem with a filled-in pool area. He recommended a nice large patio over the area. We had already contracted for a new fence and he indicated we needed to be get this done before the fence was installed. We loved his idea. They moved forward quickly and did an excellent job. His crew was friendly, courteous and very professional. The price was right too! Needless to say, we are moving forward with Cedric and his company to complete our remaining landscape needs including the original sodding requirement.

I called for an estimate and they came out as promised. The work was done excellently and on time. My neighbors have commented by text and in person how nice the landscaping looks. I found this company while searching for a good landscaping company that could handle a large drainage issue. I read the google reviews and was impressed by both peoples reviews and the owners responses. I emailed the company and received an almost immediate response from Cedric. That within itself is impressive in this day in time! Cedric came out to my house and explained the course of action needed and provided a very reasonable price for my project. I can't even begin to explain the extent of the drainage issues I was experiencing in several parts of my property. When I say I literally had rivers running through my back yard and down my property, due to water drainage from my neighbors beside and behind me, I am not exaggerating! And on top of this, the water was not drying up and was sitting stagnant in many locations throughout my property. After the initial digging/drainage rock/drain pipe installation, we had a torrential down pour in my area and I was able to see immediate results! Once the rain subsided, the areas that had been holding water for weeks at a time dried up within hours! So needless to say, Cedric and Corey did a great job! Additionally, anytime I had questions or concerns they were addressed and Cedric was very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this company if you are experiencing drainage/standing water issues and I have no doubt they are just as skilled and professional in all other services they provide. Should I ever need anything that relates to my yard in the future, I will be contacting Going the Extra Mile Landscaping! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I called Going the Extra Mile to get a estimate and Cedric responded immediately. I highly recommend his company for any landscaping projects. They were polite, professional and very knowledgeable. Cedric is was always available for any questions before, during and after the job was done. We were well pleased with the quality of the work they did and with the reasonable price.

Cedric was wonderful to with on our project. This was a very large project, new sprinkler system and a dry creek bed to resolve a drainage issue. His team worked very hard and made several adjustment to get the project complete and meet our needs. Cedric is great to work with, very responsive and totally focused on delivering exactly what he promised and how he can meet our expectations. Going the Extra Mile did a superb job for me. It was the first time I had built a house. Cedric looked after me all the way because I was by myself. While doing the job, he thought of things that were needed that I never thought of. He explained what it was and explained how he would do it. Both my back and front yards have a fairly good slope. Every time he got the dirt prepped for the sod, it would rain, washing the dirt to the wrong places, and he’d have to do it all over again, which he did every time. At the end of the house where the crawl space door is, the yard slopped off. The builder was just going to leave it like that. Cedric built some nice steps with an iron handrail and a stone sidewalk going right up to the crawl space. It was nice and safer for me. He was out at my house every day for about 3 to 4 months making sure everything was just right! He and his men went the extra mile for me!

This was a large project that involved filling in a 9ft deep pool.
To prevent sinking, they started with large rock in the bottom, then gravel, then a few feet of top soil.
Everything went well and communication was very good.

This place needs new MGMT, staff. And stop putting any pepper/ salt on steak it's not good. You should call it pepper steak.

We have gone there multiple times over the years to buy stuff from their inventory. They are recently moving and have a big sale going on. My husband proceeded to buy a patio set from them. However, when we got home, turns out the big bench had no backing under the cushion and the metal has rusted and bent, deeming the chair unusable and unsafe to sit in. We called back and the lady on the phone was very nice however her manager was unwilling to work with us. We were willing to return the whole set, return just the bench, or even just get a discount. Still did not want to work with us. Very dissapointed that they did not do a quality check before eagerly selling it to us. Now we have a useless loveseat bench that we have to pay to get rid of.
