I would highly, highly recommend MAC mechanical. They’re very sharp, professional, and do great work.

I have used them at least 10 times, but never for something they have already worked on. They do the job right, in a timely manor at a fair price. I recommend them to everyone.

You can't go wrong with this crew! These guys were prompt, courteous, and worked tirelessly to replace the a/c unit and heating system for my home. Communicating about my job was easy, and the process was seamless from start to finish.

Requested an estimate for what would be two full AC systems in a large, historic home. Estimator (who is also part owner) showed up almost two hours late, announced he was just back to work after having COVID (after refusing to shake hands), and proceeded to engage in a vigorous up-sell from what I requested, telling me that it would be a major construction project, potentially including digging out my crawlspace and dropping the ceilings down upstairs to accommodate both upstairs and downstairs units. Told me that installing what I wanted (ductless minisplit systems) would make it where I would never get on the historic register in my neighborhood, which I had never said I was trying to accomplish. Kept using the phrase "I'm just trying to educate you," as he condescendingly described how he would have to run drain and copper lines around the front and sides of my house. If he had actually known zoning requirements as well as he stated he did, he would have known that he could not put anything on the front and sides of the house and would have to run everything through the attic. After this lovely walkthrough, he said he would be in touch with an estimate of what I wanted vs. a ballpark of a traditional system as he was recommending. After he walked out, I never heard from him. No call back. No estimate. Until I complained. Then I get a call saying he wasn't going to give an estimate because "I was unhappy." I guess it was my fault he never completed and gave me the estimate.

Oh, and they told me that they got an award from the historical preservation society in my neighborhood for a project they did in a neighboring city. LOL. Basically, a lie when coupled with the lack of zoning regulations.

Would not recommend. Did not hire. Think I dodged a bullet. Luckily, I got with a competitor that knows the zoning regulations, recommended a high efficiency combo system (a compromise I was willing to accept), and better price overall without digging out crawlspaces and dropping my 12 foot ceilings upstairs. Go somewhere else if you want professional and timely service.

This company also does plumbing. They have been out to my home a few times since December 2019, due to water leaks. Respond within 2 hours, always able to detect source of leak & stop it.
Did suggest that I replace 30 year old pipes throughout house, due to age & wear & tear. Did not push it when I said I was unable to afford that big of a job.

We company did a good job addressing problem with faucet leak. They even ordered free faucet using life-time guarantee from Delta. I am pleased with service and attention to customer.

When you are remodeling an older home there is no telling what you will find and what leaks have gone undetected. The team at Mac Mechanical was prompt to arrive, easily diagnosed the problem, and even removed a 1960"s cast iron tub (pink) with ease. I would not hesitate to call them for any plumbing issue.

The company was very friendly. They quickly responded. We were billed differently than we were led to believe. They quickly and kindly fixed the billing to reflect accurate charges. I would definitely recommend to others

I had a leak in the ceiling. The plumber who came was able to determine it was the upstairs toilet and pulled the toilet and fixed the flange where the seal wasn’t sealing and was able to fix it all in about an hour. I have no damage to drywall that requires more work and I’m very pleased he was able to go ahead and complete the work. Also I didn’t ask for a quote before he set to work but it seemed very reasonable to me once it was all said and done. Grateful to be done!

Do not use this company. Called them to fix my water heater. Sent the first guy out who said he fixed it and left. It was fixed for about 2 hours. They sent the second guy out who said the entire water heater needed to be replaced. Got charged $300 and still did not have hot water. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy

We had a small water leak in our master bath near the shower but couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The technician from MAC Mechanical arrived on-time and was very professional. He determined the shower drain pan was leaking but made sure to check other possibilities to confirm that was the only issue. Since it’s not a major plumbing issue, their services weren’t necessary, but I will keep their number handy for any future issues.

These guys are the real deal. Very professional and reasonable prices. They replaced a water line in my yard and left the lawn looking untouched. They do what they say they are going to do, which is so hard to find anymore. I strongly recommend them!

MAC has been an amazing company to work with, Daniel the owner has gone above and beyond when installing the entire HVAC system in our home. Every team member I've met has been kind and professional.
They're more affordable than other HVAC/Plumbing companies in central Arkansas that we received quotes from, and when we have future home and business projects in plumbing or HVAC, we will definitely be contacting them. I would highly recommend this company!

Daniel and his crew, What I like most about these guys is their honesty. Installed a unit recommended by their supplier earlier this year, well was the wrong spec. I would have never known the difference, he came out the day the unit wasn’t performing properly. Recognized the problem the installed the right one pronto.

They’re just honest people and back their work. You will never feel ripped off by these guys. Highly recommend.
