What an amazing team! Matt gave me a very fair quote, and gave me a date for the removal. They showed up everyone was very professional and respectful. They got the trees down, and cleaned up so good you wouldn't even know that they came besides all the trees being removed. Matt and his team did an amazing job and I would 100% recommend to anyone in need of a professional team and tree service.

Capital City Tree Service came recommended by my insurance agent! They were here late in the afternoon, within hours after a tree hit my home. They are an amazing team of true experts: Matt, Brad, Shane and 6 additional team members worked a crane and equipment to get the tree lifted from my roof without damage to my air conditioning unit or pool equipment.
They also returned after the initial emergency visit and removed large limbs and a split tree in the yard. Everything is immaculate by the time they are done. Well run company, polite and effective employees and top notch equipment - nobody is climbing trees, they have professional equipment.

Very impressed with Capital City Tree Service and the work they did at our home. Shane and his crew were prompt, completed work as promised. Very professional and appreciated that they worked to get the tree down before the arrival of a probable storm.

They did a great job and clean up was immaculate. Everyone I had conversations with (Matt, Jeff and Brad) were so friendly and accommodating. VERY pleased with the result and their professionalism. Brad was the foreman for our job. His crew showed up on time and removed the trees in a safe and professional manner. This is definitely a first class operation! I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

I don't like to write bad reviews - and I should start with the fact that the crew did show up and remove the requested tree, but beyond that...I would not use this company again.

I have a small house on a small lot. I was told by the initial person that provided the quote, that they would have to get the machinery to the back via one side, as the other side was not big enough. Their crew did not get that memo. They attempted to go down the narrower side and managed to crush the sidewalk, damaged a gutter, shifted a support beam on the carport (no idea what it is going to cost to get that fixed). All that unnecessary damage for them to pull out - so they could go down the other side was very disheartening once I realized what all had been damaged.

The kid that was driving the cat to pick up limbs in the back and take them to the front - not sure he was qualified for this job. He hit the house more than 10 times with either the cat or logs that he picked up to take to the front. And I do mean, hard felt-through-the-whole-house shuddering slams in a few cases. I watched him for a while from a window and "taking his time to be careful" is not the description I would use.

I expected the yard and landscaping to be damaged due to equipment - when you sign the agreement you sign away your right to seek compensation for any of that. But I can say I've had a few trees taken down now and multiple trimmings over the years and this was by far the most damage I have ever experienced from any tree service. I've certainly never had anyone damage my house before. Also worth mentioning that I picked up a significant amount of trash left by the crew, which I thought was pretty tacky.

Sometimes I wonder if some of these companies are dismissive of people that don't live in certain zip codes, with houses of a certain size. Considering that I paid him a down payment on a house - I admittedly expected better. Good luck with whomever you choose.

Capital City was very responsive to our call, came out promptly and got us on their schedule as soon as possible. They did a great job and cleaned up behind themselves and removed all debris. All interactions were pleasant and professional

Shane and his crew did an excellent job removing a tree and pruning 4 others.
Shane was very respectful and professional as was his entire crew and they are very proficient at what they do.
Also Capital City was very reasonable on their price. I got three estimates for the work I wanted done and Capital City was 10% below the other two which turned out to be a big difference.
I will definitely use these guys again.

They went above and beyond to take care of us. We bought an old house in December and by April, we noticed some major issues with our old trees Within a day after contacting them, the GM Matt came out to give us a quote and schedule the work. Brad and his crew came out and made quick with of removing two hazardous trees and trimming several others back. They were all super nice, and put on a great show. The mess was cleaned up before they left, and the cost was very reasonable. They kept us updated through the entire process. I highly recommend them for any tree service you need!

I've used Capitol City Tree service several times over the past 10 years for both the business, and for my personal property. They have always done an excellent job. Timely, professional, fair pricing. They were very meticulous in cleaning up after they're work was done. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys if you want it done right !

This is my second time hiring Capital City Tree Service to take care of old growth trees on my property. They are courteous, respectful, and efficient. Expect to pay a little more, but they are insured and licensed. I don't want anyone injured on my property and it's widely known that this profession is dangerous and requires operators who know what they're doing.

If you’ve got “tree stuff” needing attention, Capital City is serious about earning your business. I submitted request for estimate and Matt contacted within same day, drove to the house, looked at the situation, gave me cost and context to how he arrived at price (which I appreciate) Next step was getting on schedule with Brad and tree crew -On the day of work -Brad along with team arrived on time and communicated the plan, explained how they would tackle each tree and surrounding areas, made sure we were all on same page and outlined the details / expectations then provided me with a clear statement of work (wow, right?actually put it on paper) and sent copy in pdf format to keep in my records! Once I gave Brad thumbs up, his team (5 others) sprang into action.. the crew were all polite, appeared to enjoy the work, looked like they all got along laughing with each other (despite the unfavorable weather) Brad’s team had the tree’s out in what’s felt like short minutes but in reality start-finish was 3 hours…Brad and crew went above and beyond to keep the area clean with as little impact to the yard, despite the mud and weather there’s little evidence activity took place - when debris was collected / hauled off they took great care to clean the road and driveway - very pleased with everyone who made the job happen and strongly recommend using this group if you’re in need of service that involves dealing with trees.

The crew was not only professional but friendly. They arrived on time, got started to work immediately and finished before I knew it! You can’t even tell that they’ve been here except for the missing tree in my front yard. They were very careful with my lawn and made sure that every bit of the tree was removed! They also took two large trees down in my neighbors yard… We are both very pleased with the results! The owner and crew of this company are people you can trust to get the job done in a timely manner, for a reasonable price!

What a great experience. We knew that we had a tree that was rotting and another that prevented us from growing a solid lawn, so we had Matt out for an estimate. He identified two other trees that were going to be problems in the near future and offered a wonderful package price to do all four and trim the remaining trees (front and back yards). As promised, they arrived at 8:30 am, took a quick tour, and got right to work. They were extremely efficient and barely left a trace that they were here. I would recommend them to anyone who has tree work to be done.

Capital City Tree Service showed up on time with a large crew and got 5 trees cut down, hauled away, and debris cleaned up in under 2 hours. They were professional and quick. I have several more trees that will need to come down soon and I will definitely be calling them when we are ready for our next round of tree removal! Thank you Capital City Tree Service!

The saying you get what you pay fir is 100% true here. What a team..Matt, Brad, Shane and at least 6 more team members working expertly to take down trees. Large limb removal, roof blow off. We were also looking for advice on removal of limbs to add some extra sun to our yard. They took just what was needed based on our wants. Tons of fancy equipment needed to get things done. Cleaned up and took away all debris..absolutely recommend.

Great folks who have the equipment to get the job done safely and quickly. Did a great job in raising the tree canopy and trimming all our trees. Very courteous and do a great job with cleanup. I highly recommend them!
