WCA truck ran a red light and almost ran into me. This happened 7/29/24 at 8:10 am at the intersection of Jackson Ave and Graves Ave in Monterey Park right in-front of a daycare. You can see from the picture and my dashcam video, my light was green for several second already when their truck ran the red light. I hope the owner of WCA and their insurance company sees and handles this appropriately.

Their staff are incredibly helpful and kind. I love that they're making Anaheim beautiful one tree at a time. Enrique is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with no problem. Thank you for all of your help! 🙏🏾🙏🏾👍🏾👍🏾

We live in NorCal. This might be done through their local sub. One of my neighbors engaged them for some tree service and they blocked my entire driveway, without anyone’s permission. It is illegal. My kids were late for school. I didn’t have time to wait for police to fine this illegal company. What type of business will be conducting their operations breaching the law? Unbelievable.

These are not arborists. They shouldnt even be allowed to have that in their name!
I have 2 mature 50 years + Southern Magnolia Trees on my property.
In 2013 they massacred them! They cut them as if they were a palm tree. They did not cut them as you should cut a Southern Magnolia. They took large branches bearing beautiful leaves and took them off at the trunk!
It was horrifying. All my shade for my lawn and home was gone.

These trees are not the City of Anaheim's trees. They are on a Do Not Maintain list and they showed up again, chain saws in hand and butchered what was left of 2 Southern Magnolias trying to thrive post 2013 butcher.

Southern Magnolias are to be pruned not with chain saws, but rather just rounded out on the ends 3-4 ft. Never are the branches suppose to be removed at the trunk unless sick.

My 1 magnolia will never recover and it will take over a decade for the other to provide the shade, privacy and seclusion to my home that it once did.

The men on the job especially Solomon were rude, and unkind and didn't know a thing about cutting a Southern Magnolia.

2 young crew members showed some sympathy for me as I was beyond saddened by this.

In the 6 years since the last massacre I had devoted twice as much water and 2 hours each day spending time with the trees to help them recover.

West Coast Arborists not only doesn't know how to trim a Southern Magnolia but has people working for them who don't care about trees or the people they harm.

Mind you, on both ocassions I came running out and stopped them! Look at the trees in the after photos.. They weren't done!!!
At what point would they have stopped?

Its not letting me post the pictures, I'll do this by the week end.

Rude and Negligent!

WCA parked their truck in front of our house and were filling it with tree trimmings from another house down the road. Not only did they smash through part of the tree in our front yard, they also left a water bottle with PEE in the bushes in our front yard!! Super disappointed and upset that a supposed professional company would behave this way.

This morning i noticed loud noise so I look out my window and see this freaking truck parked so close to my car and cutting palm trees !! Really next time give a heads up that you guys are working here so I can move my Tesla nobody bother to give a heads up and work near my car if something happens who’s going to pay ?! Because am not literally am really upset especially because I had wash my car yesterday and I go and see my car all dusty with palm dust !! Make sure to let us know . Am sure if a branch or those Little Rock’s that break glass hit my car you guys would say you guys are not responsible. !! Unfortunately unprofessional works !!

This team arrived early and ready to get the job done. They were diligent and ready for the job. I am happy to say the job was assessed and the plan was executed without delay! Great job and clean up!

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve Ponce today. He was giving my Camry island date palms a preventative dose against the So. American palm weevil that is killing so many palms in my area. I learned so much and he had such a gentle nature , even my dog was at ease. A big shout-out to the rest of the WCA crew as well. You guys are always polite and professional. I love my palms. I started trimming them when they were just shoulder high pineapples. Look at them now!

Today they cut my liquidambar that was starting to rot and be a threat for our home, I met Joel and his team and the Crane operator also was excellent!!!
Was so pleased, Joel is absolutely professional and very knowledgeable he was pretty much doing everything at perfection and his team was so kind and hardworking just like him ! I wish these guys get a trophy for such a great work, it’s a very risky job. May God always protect them. I was very impressed thank you for sending the best .

April 30, 2024, they were in my Riverside neighborhood, trimming the trees. When I got home my trees looked great and my yard was clean.
I met Rigoberto Sanchez (Foreman) who was on site making sure everything was up to their standards.
Top notch professionals. I’m glad our tax money is going to this company!

Today our massive 50 foot dead tree was safely removed, and I couldn’t be more grateful! The crew was quick, focused, professional, and careful about everyone’s safety- even for passing cars. They cleaned the area and kept in touch from start to finish. Pedro O. Left his card of WCA based in Ontario,CA, which I will happily share with my workplace. Thanks to their great work, we can finally relax and not worry when the winds blow. I highly recommend this team!!

We had the great fortune to have your company plant our parkway tree today. Alexander Gonzalez, Gustavo Gomez and Andrew Fernandez came with the proper equipment and used exceptional care to install the tree the city ordered for us.

This team was friendly, knowledgeable and caring, leaving us with explicit directions, a tidy parkway bed and even showed us exactly how to water this tree so that it is properly established and able to thrive. Advice was shared for setting up its irrigation as well as the best way to mulch the area.

Today was the third time I’ve used Treewest for tree removal services and they did an outstanding job as usual. A week ago, I contacted them and Hector came out for an in-person estimate. I wanted to have 7 palm trees removed. Some of the trees were a little tricky as I have artificial grass under some of them, and one of them was on an elevated slope. He quoted a fair price so I made an appointment to have them removed. They arrived by 7:40am and set things up and by 8am they were cutting (probably didn’t want to start before 8am because of the chainsaw noise for the neighbors). They had a 3 person crew, one who climbed and cut the palms, and the other two to help as required. To protect the artificial grass from falling tree pieces, they laid out sheets of plywood. As another measure to keep falling tree trunk pieces from digging into and damaging the grass, they tied a rope to the heavy pieces and lowered them to the ground in a controlled fashion. And in the front yard where they had more room to work, they cut a couple of palms down with one cut. This way they didn’t have to worry about having falling trunk pieces damaging the artificial grass. They worked hard and fast and were pretty much finished just after lunch time. Since there was no room for stump grinding equipment in my yard, they did a good job in cutting the stumps as close to the ground, if not slightly below it, as possible. As far as cleanup, they hauled away everything and left the front and back yards cleaner than when they first started. Hector also had his guys clean up my remaining 3 palms, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend Treewest if you need tree trimming or removal.

I called 5 different tree trimming services and Hector from Treewest Co was the only one to call back. I had 10 large palm trees to get done. I sent him some photos via my cell and he gave me a reasonable quote. His crew arrived on time and did a great job. They cleaned up all the mess and the palms look great. The crew was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Treewest and will use them in the future.

Hector was very easy to work with. Came out and saw the work to do, gave me a quote, and work was done a few days later. His crew did a great job removing stumps and roots for several trees. Excellent clean-up and his crewman did a final walkthrough with me to be sure everything looked good. Recommended.
