My tub and toilet were backing up. My dad tried to clear it, nothing worked. I called Rooter Man plumbing and they sent someone out here within an hour. The technician was extremely professional, he explained what was wrong and what needed to be done. Their prices were reasonable.Also, they left us some recommendations to replace our lines; we shopped around but I have to say they had offered the best prices. We have them scheduled for Monday to start the job. Will update after the work is done. Thank You Rooter Man Plumbing.

Septic tank pumping. Add ons and shady business practices. I agree with some of the comments here questioning the validity of the positive reviews - at least based on our experience. The person taking our phone appointment explained prices for 1,000 gallon and for 1,500 gallon tanks. We had ALWAYS paid the 1,000 gallon price with other companies so we expected our tank was 1,000 gallons. The service guy who showed up was Sako. The tank opening is precisely 31’ to the curb. The first “add on” Saki charged was adding a 35’ hose to the 50’ house that comes with the service. It was bewildering how it was necessary to use an 85’ hose to reach a tank 31’ away. Next to our surprise he claimed we had a 1,500 gallon tank and charged us a rate that was $200 more for a total of $625.00!!! The highest we had ever paid before over 20 years was $375!

When asked how he measured 1,500 gallons he said he had a bubble measure on his tank. But that was after he pumped out the tank. He did not show us the level before he started pumping so there was no way to verify. He had been to other location(s) before our house in the afternoon. In short, there was no way to verify what he was saying.

When I complained to the company I was told they would remove the extra house charge. That was a no brainer considering it was easily proven not to have been needed. They refused to budge on the 1,500 gallon price based on the bubble level excuse. When I explained that the bubble level was nonsense in light of Sako not showing us the bubble level before he started. I was told that was a good idea and they would ask Sako to do that with future customers.

Finally, Sako said there were solids at the bottom of the tank that he could remove for an extra $1,900. Talk about “ups” and “extras”. Felt like a total scam.

Bottom line is we will never use this company again and strongly advise others not to use them as well.

I was having a problem with my plumbing. My clog got fixed after Mike ran a hydro jetter through my clean out. Thank you for the fast and effective work Rooter Man! 5/5 definitely recommend and will call again for future plumbing problems.

Excellent company - was able to accommodate me the day of my call. Sent SAMMY - who was very professional and knowledgeable. Cared about providing excellent service and explained all steps of his service and price in advance. Very satisfied.

Easily the best experience I've ever had with a plumber. Called Rooter Man Plumbing OC because a urinal at our office isn't working, Daniel immediately came over on site within 3 hours. It ended up being a more complicated fix (he had to remove, snake, and remount the urinal), but Daniel tried everything he could to address the issue before progressing to the more expensive option. Finished product looks nicer than it did when he got here and the entire restroom is draining faster than before. Daniel was extremely friendly, professional and provided me with lots of good information. He is truly an asset to your company! Highly recommended.

Juan was professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Our kitchen sink wouldnt' drain, even after we tried to snake it our selves. When he met resistance in the line, he said, i woudl like to stop here and test to see if the blockage has been cleared. I have met resistance, and i am afraid i may do more damage than help if i push to hard. Luckily for us, the blockage was clear and further work was not needed. We are mid renovation, and he asked us if he could make a recommendation. He suggested, that since we have the floors ripped up anyway, that we should go ahead and replace the lines. In a 1960 house, they are at end of life and cast iron, so the bottoms are likely rusted out in places. He was in and our in 30 minutes. We had a port(?) outside our house, so he was able to access our plumbing externally.

My only annoyance was with scheduling, they didn't actually have open the time we wanted online. So their system doesn't actually align w/ their availability. We requested a 6pm slot. They called me within 5 minutes, but said they weren't actually available until 10am the next morning. So, very responsive in their Customer service, but misleading with their availability.

So Juan was amazing, the company could use a more accurate scheduling tool.

The company is a complete rip off, serene from the OC office was rude and the prices to install risers and clean my septic tank was absurd. I will never recommend this company for any septic services in Upland or surrounding areas. I had California pumping clean my septic tank and install risers for 2,700! that included everything. Rooter man quoted me 10,000.00 Horrible company....

Juan did a great job. Was very personable. The company responded to my backed up main within 45 minutes and it wasn’t a real emergency. I got the $49 special and am happy there was no hard up sell, only recommendations. Thanks guys!

Our experience with Juan and Rooter man was excellent. Although we thought the job was simple it turned out to be a bit more extensive. But Juan and his team really took the time to find the root cause of the problem and crafted a great solution. We really appreciate him and his hard work.

Called this business because it was the weekend and both toilets and showers were stopped up. They showed up and after trying to unclog them told us that the pipes were old and rusty and needed to be replaced.
After getting over the shock of how much it was gonna cost we decided to go ahead and have the sewer system replaced.
Edgar, the head guy, got to work right away and we had no problems or complications. The job was done professionally and quickly. The only bad part was having to wait for the city to come and do their inspection of the work.
Overall it was a good and comforting experience with Edgar stopping and answering all my questions.
I would certainly recommend this company.

Not worth it, their plumber Kevin left a mess，very unprofessional, couldnt get get the job done right. When questioned him, all he had was excuses. Would not waste my time and money on this company again.

My kitchen sink was backing up and I called Rooter Man. They have done a variety of repairs at my house over the last few years (including major work on the sewage/drainage system). I really appreciate the great communication with updates and schedule changes.

Prior to doing any work, they always give a detailed report, estimate and timing/scheduling and then a complete report of everything that was done to correct all issues. Jorge was my service professional today, he rectified the issue, did a great job, and luckily, it was covered by my warranty. My first call with any plumbing issue will always be to Rooter Man.

All I have to say is FINALLY I find a plumber. I've had not so good experiences with the plumbers in the past. I called this one this morning told them my kitchen sink was clogged and I needed their service. I was blown away when they asked me what time is good for me. I was like today on Saturday? I was like no way this is awesome. They were scheduled to come at 3pm Edgar the technician called and informed me he can come sooner if I like. Wow he was here at 1:30 from the time he walked up to my I then agreed to have them perform the work to solve my issues. They are professional and very neat. I am very happy with the work they did. He was very professional and very neat. I am very happy with the work they did. Now I have a plumber! I will most definitely use again.....

I made an online scheduled appointment for the next day which was my day off work and they decided on their own to cancel said appointment without any call after sending me a text and email confirmation. I waited the whole window of time ( 7 AM - 9 AM) before having to call the number on the text message to see where the technician was, ( the LA office) which told me to call the Orange county office and gave me the number as they were supposedly supporting this my area. I called them and said that the appointment was canceled as they attempted to call at 7:30am to confirm and there was no answer. Again I had 0 missed calls and never had my phone ring as I was holding it waiting for them to call. The operator then tried to reschedule the following day which I cannot due to work. Again terrible service which should be 0 stars out of 5

Jacob at Rooterman just finished a shower drain clean out at my home. What can I say? He is simply the best. Super clean, respectful, diligent, and most of all got the job done in a timely manner. The company calls in advance to let you know what time of arrival the service tech will come and keeps you posted. Jacob was beyond wonderful, and I will defnitely be using this company again, and especially Jacob. Thank you for a job WELL DONE Jacob. I appreciate your care to attention and the details of the job. You were WONDERFUL.

I called this company at 3pm and asked for a same day appointment. I was given a time frame of 4-5pm. They sent a text confirmation with the aforementioned time. We waited an hour and a half at the end of the day and they never called or showed up. I called them to ask for an updated time of arrival. The woman on the phone told me the technicians were “backed up” and said she could only get us in on the schedule THE NEXT DAY!!!!! Horrible customer service. Thanks for making me wait to the point that I now have to pay extra for an after hours appointment with another company.

Had a backed-up kitchen sink and called this company on a Sunday. The plumber showed up and said the "camera guy" wasn’t available until the next day. Same guy comes back on Monday, runs the camera, then immediately tries to sell me a $2,100 re-pipe of the kitchen sink. No other options. No real explanation. Just straight to a massive upsell.

Here’s the kicker: after he left, I poured some Drano down the drain—and surprise—it cleared right up. Sink works perfectly. No re-piping needed, just a basic clog. These guys were either completely incompetent or straight-up trying to scam me.

If you're into overpaying for unnecessary work, maybe this is the company for you. Otherwise, steer clear. Total ripoff. You vote with your dollar, and there are better options. Good luck.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
They lure you in with a $49 drain cleaning special then come out to your property and say you have a serious issue. They quoted me $6500 for a "descale" and $17000 to reroute my drains. I called another local plumber and they used a chain snake to "descale" my drains for a few hundred bucks and it fixed my issue. Not sure how this company is still in business with their fraudulent business practices. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

Orlando and the crew were amazing, since I called they treated me very professional and straight to the solution of getting someone out here to fix my drain within 30 mins! Super impressed with the service and quality with lead time, Orlando was very professional and very transparent and informative about my situation, not to mention very polite. Will recommend to all anytime.

Edit: Months later they still auto/spam text at 6am asking for reviews twice a week.

They got the job done but pretty disappointed with pricing and felt like I was taken advantage of. We were given the $49 to unplug a drain over the phone, $125 if there was no clean out so I just figured it would be the higher price, no big deal. Well the plumber couldn’t “make the turn” under the sink which is why I thought I paid the $125, so he had to cut the pipe but he said it would be cheap. He went outside to call the office to get a quote (left his phone inside, is was buzzing while he was gone) and came back in saying is would be another $100. I clearly wasn’t going to pay $125 for nothing or pay another plumber to come out so he had me where he wanted me, I agreed to the price and 5 minutes later he was done.

They got the job done, I just felt a little taken advantage of. So $225 to snake a sink drain, ouch.

Started with a clogged cloths washing drain and ended up with a new lining to the street on our sewer. Went with "RooterMan" great folks, we worked with Robert Sandoval and stayed on the whole project start to finish. Robert is easy to work with, knowledgeable, fast, and did I say expensive. Well worth it in my opinion, we have had problems with it since we purchased the house. Always knew and worried about having to dig up our porch to the street with a huge 4 story tree in the middle, new technology caught up with us and saved us probably over twice this amount and time and mess!!
