This company is truly BEST OF THE BEST by miles... Michael their lead is not only the best at diagnosis and solving but his communication, follow-up and work product is perfect and more than appreciated. While I don't love finding poo leaks I do feel better knowing Michael and American Leak Detection is there for support and the fix.

Gabriel and Avil/Abel(sorry didn't catch the name clealy) were excellent. They both very hard working and experienced..Figured out leaking in a very short time and rectified the issue right away. Both are very knowledgeable and answered all the questions in a very simple way.They showed up on a right time and finished the work in a short time.I would highly recommend Gabriel and Avil/Abel to anyone who is seeking plumbing issues.

American Leak did a great job with finding our pinhole leak. Jim, the initial tech, explained the problem well and identified solutions that avoiding making holes in our ceiling. David, the repair tech, was thorough and meticulous, and did a fantastic job repairing the leak at the fitting, all while making as small of an access hole through our stucco wall as possible. Highly recommend.

Jim was simply amazing. Came in with all of the tools and equipment that the first plumber didn’t have unfortunately. He found the leak with an hour, and told me what approximately had to be done to repair it with the least damage possible. AMAZING SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM. Don’t hire any other plumber first, go straight to this company and have it done correctly the first time.

Let’s add to this post and update.. had Nate Goldberg their repair technician come and reroute my entire kitchen pipes. He did an amazing job, called before coming, showed up on time and worked non-stop. Him and his helper cleaned up everything before walking out and he double checked everything again before leaving. I would happily recommend this company again if Jim and Nate represent the caliber. You pay for what you get, but if you are dealing with water, I would go with a professional and don’t risk your biggest asset to save a few dollars.

Mason was outstanding! He located our leak, figured out how to access and repair it despite natural conditions (a large boulder) limiting (barring) his access to the leak, performed the repair, and then kept gratuitously digging until he also located the buried conduit for our broken cable that the Cox repairman had given up trying to find, thereby enabling the cable to also be fixed. Thanks to Mason, a very diligent, experienced, sensible, and smart man, our large water leak was fixed and our internet, phone, and TV services were restored.

Steve and assistant arrived on time, diagnosed the leak very efficiently and quickly. They were very skilled and knew what they were doing. This was an excellent service and I highly recommend them. .

Steve and Juan were absolute professionals. They were pleasant, they conducted a thorough leak detection, and they made the repairs, which included re-routing the water supply through the attic, in a neat and effective manner. They stayed for almost 12 hours, finished the job, covered the opened walls very neatly, and cleaned-up perfectly. They checked water pressure, the water heater, and I couldn't have expected anything more. The best!!

Abel L., with American Leak Detection just left my house about 30 minutes ago. The first person that I texted was my pool guy, who I thanked for recommending this company in the first place, because they were great.

It started when I called them late last Friday afternoon, and they said they would have somebody out here on Monday morning at 8am. However, the young lady that I was talking to for the scheduling of the appointment, was going to attempt to have their Technician out here the following day (Saturday), but that wasn't necessary so I stuck with Monday. However, the offer being put out there was refreshing because they were treating my issue with urgency.

Then, Monday morning comes around, and I got a text about 7:15am letting me know that the technicians were going to be on time, as well as a picture of who would be showing up. After that, I got a call about 20 minutes before they showed up letting me know they were on their way. They were here exactly when they said they would be.

The main technician, Abel L. has to be their very best technician. I'm saying that because after him working here, I'm obviously biased because he did such a great job, but I suspect that there are a number of great technicians at American Leak Detection. There was an another young technician here who was working with Able, and obviously learning the trade from a seasoned journeyman.

I'm not gonna get into the issue too much, because it's complicated, but it has to do with my pool and a gas leak and a water leak all getting into my pool heater and causing it not to work. The person that put this pool into my home was two owners ago in 2010, and he was a pool contractor himself. So if you can imagine, it's a nice pool, but since it was his own home, we'll just say that there were some shortcuts taken. So I figured finding this leak was gonna be next to impossible, because every other maintenance item with this pool has been a nightmare.

I'll shorten it up and just say that Abel was able to find the leak, and explained everything to me. But equally important to me was, I had asked him what he would suggest if this was house; because there are so many possibilities and unknowns until I have the plumbing folks are out here to see exactly what's going on.

Of course, I told him I wasn't gonna hold him to anything, I just wanted his expert opinion. So he took his time and explained the different possibilities, and probably the best option based on all the different scenarios.

Besides finding the leak itself of course, the information that he gave me was really invaluable because a lot of it I'm gonna be able to relay to the plumbers, which should save them time, and me money, as well as letting me know how to best tackle the issue. He didn't have to do all that, but he did, and did so without wasting any time.

I say that because the company charges by the hour, and they have a minimum of two hours; both of which are perfectly understandable and acceptable. But knowing what I know about anyone who charges by the hour - even honest people - it's rare to be charged at their minimum only.

So just like my long winded review of Abel and American Leak Detection, my explanation of the issue to the technicians when they first arrived, was probably a good 30 minutes of their time here. Add to that, the time It took for Abel and his helper to find the leak, and then explain everything to me while I literally asked a ton of questions; believe it or not everything came in at the minimum two hour mark!

So to be clear, I highly recommend American Leak Detection of Orange County, and if you're lucky enough to get Abel and the technician that was with him - I apologize I forget his name - but he was also very helpful and very polite; then you'll be in totally good hands.

And I suspect that even if you don't get Abel, that you will still be in good hands.

Steve was the absolute best. We had root infested outdoor pipes in our backyard and water was backing up creating a potential flooding issue. Steve diagnosed the issue, provided guidance on how best resolve the issue and executed the repair. Thank you so much for your hard work and expertise!!!

Two guys showed up on time - went right to work- well spoken - explained everything. Fixed the problem and cleaned up and put everything back. Cleaned up and left after explaining everything perfectly. Very professional service

Austin came on time. Very polite , knowledgeable and professional. He was able to locate the leak very quickly. He is going to come back tomorrow to fix it.

We had a plumbing leak that was under the slab. Abel came in for the leak detection, and was very professional, with a great attitude and great attention. He provided a lot of information and explained things with great detail and was patience with our questions. After the leak was found he provided a quote with different repair options and pricing that was reasonable for a piping reroute. We hired him to also complete the repair, which was challenge to plan in such short notice as we also needed to get asbestos testing but he moved things around for us helped us out greatly especially with Christmas in just a few days and we are so greatful. I would definitely call American Leak Dectection again and would request Abel.

I also really appreciate the 5-year warranty they provided after the repair — it shows confidence in their craftsmanship and gives customers peace of mind. I genuinely hope my pool won’t have any more issues, but if anything ever comes up again, American Leak Detection will be my first choice.

Steve and Juan were excellent. We have a very large property with an aging piping system and since we bought the house a year ago, we don’t know where any of the pipes are. These guys found the general location and as a homeowner I dug it up, but didn’t quite find the leak, they came back and within an hour had found exactly where the leak (five feet away!) was and even dug it up for me. Steve suggested the best device for the repair (slip collar) which I could buy from a local specialty irrigation store, which worked perfectly. They saved me thousands of dollars of digging. They made finding a leak in a complicated system much more manageable, and I’m truly thankful.

Able arrived within the timeframe given. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided me with information throughout the process. Very respectful and kind. Compassionate about the servere leak I have. Plus, poor Able had to listen to two old men give their theories and "show him" what they thought it eas, the entire time! He did well interacting with them. He's a people person and has fantastic customer service!

American Leak Detection did a great job! They responded the same day. Brian was very efficient and knowledgeable in locating a leak underneath my concrete slab.
Once the leak was detected, Brian and Justin showed up promptly at the time agreed upon, and did an outstanding job of repairing my leak. They were very meticulous in their approach and leaving the area very clean when they were finished.

Mason called 30 minutes before arriving and let us know he was on his way. He arrived soon after and got right to problem solving for our leak. He found two and explained how to fix them and what to tell our plumber. He sent a detailed bill that we can send to our water company to reduce our fine. Nate came out to detect water leaks. Unfortunately found a slab leak plus another more obvious one. He also fixed a my showerhead and I now have a nice strong shower:) Nate and is crew are top notch! They repaired and rerouted the water lines in the time frame promised. High quality workmanship! Thank you Nate for taking good care of me and my home!
