I’m quite disappointed with Splash Plumbing.

Our HOA uses them, so I decided to hire them for what I believed would be a simple issue at a condo I rent out. My tenant reported that the shower water was not hot enough, while all other taps in the unit were functioning normally. Based on that, I reasonably assumed it was a cartridge issue.

Splash Plumbing attended the unit and charged $354 for what was described as a “cartridge repair.” However, my tenant couldn’t clearly explain what was actually done, and more importantly, the issue was not resolved — the shower water was still not hot enough.

Splash Plumbing then recommended a full valve replacement costing $1,725, which immediately raised concerns for me.

I went to the condo myself, purchased a new cartridge for $25, and replaced it. The issue was completely resolved in about 15 minutes.

I have a serious issue with tradespeople recommending expensive repairs that are unnecessary, especially when dealing with tenants and absentee owners who are relying on their expertise. This experience felt misleading at best.

I would not use Splash Plumbing again and would caution others to seek a second opinion before agreeing to major work. I will also be contacting our HOA to look for a new local plumbing company.

Dylan Ogle at splash plumbing went above and beyond, he put a camera thru our main sewer line all the way to the street and checked my 75 foot back yard drainage lines with his camera.
He has very good communication skills, keeping us informed and gave us excellent advice with a fair price for his two hours of time.

We have had another plumber from Splash and he was also very good but Dylan was excellent!!!!

Customer service was excellent— they followed up with me and were able to get me an expedited quote for my water heater replacement. I had an urgent situation and they were able to get my new gas tankless water heater installed quickly and beautifully. The tech was great— he was clean, professional, and knowledgeable about the pipes in my building and was able to answer all of my questions as well as provide additional communication. I’ll definitely keep splash plumbing at the top of my list should I need professional plumbing services again!

The customer service and the helpfulness of the tech were exemplary! They were so nice to work with and explained everything as they went, which is what I wanted. Frank was the tech who came out and worked very hard. I was really impressed with him and his knowledge and his skills.

First and foremost Plumbing Solutions Specialist delivered on all that was discussed and agreed to. The Repipe was completed in a day and the patch team also completed their part within the timeframe discussed and agreed upon. Both of these crews were amazing professional and efficient. They did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend. Five star service! Some back story unfortunately we had a leak and were placed in a bit of a pickle. We originally had a different company come out to fix the leak and do some water damage control and the cost of that was pretty pricey so we had to decide do we take a chance with the 40 year old pipe and plan on another expensive repair or do we bite the bullet and do a repipe? We decided to do the repipe. We did our research and obtained 4 quotes. All basically offered similar services and used the same type of material PEX instead of copper so basically it came down to price and also the rep-ore I had with my contact/Sales/Project Manager. The price ranged from each company with the difference being between $1000 -4000 I read all the reviews and understanding that again they are pretty much all the same good stuff and bad stuff. Anytime you have work done on your home there are going to be some issues that arise. In my opinion it’s how you handle and approach those situations. In our case we had some timing issues with our availability to be present we also had special circumstances because of the previous unfinished work unrelated to the repipe job. There were some bumbs in the road but at the end of the day the Project manager and I were able to smooth everything out and in the end I was very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the whole team at Plumbing Solution Specialists and I am happy that I choose this company.

Company came out on Thanksgiving. Marcos and crew diagnosed issue. Found other issues that was a concern to us. Stopped the leak and came back first thing next morning to complete all repairs

We went with Plumbing Solution Specialist for a copper repipe in Laguna Niguel. The quality of work is excellent and the price was very fair compared to other repipe companies.

I would never call or use this company again. I had a cold water line leaking somewhere under a 25 foot concrete slab and they couldn't tell me exactly where it was then they cut and capped a line without my permission. They where at my rental home from 5 pm until 10:30 pm. Around 9:30 pm they drilled 4 holes in my concrete driveway trying to find the leak and punctured the hot water line. All I asked them to do is tell me exactly where the leak was and I would fix it myself. Since they made a small problem bigger I was forced to pay them over $2,000 to run 25 feet of Cooper above ground on the side of my house something I could have done myself if the hardware store was still open. Don't call them you'll be sorry. $475 to detect a leak that they couldn't find. These guys cost more than what it's worth. Ivan I understand that you're trying to change the story after the brief phone call you made to me after I wrote this review. Do you really think that those Copper lines are from 1918? And that driveway is from 1918? Give me a break! Houses back then had galvanized pipes. My house had been repiped with copper at a much later date! The driveway is only a few years old. The hole in the hot water pipe was caused by your guys drilling holes trying to find the leak. You win some and lose some, guess we both lost on this one.

I was super impressed with how quickly they came out cuz it was a late call about 7:30pm and on July 3rd. They arrived within the hour.
