Had a running toilet and Barker and Sons was the first service I called. Set up an appointment to get an estimate - the rep was friendly and focused on my needs. When the plumbing tech Bo arrived he was extremely helpful, identifying exactly what needed to be done. The whole process was top notch! Thanks Bo for your superb work! Barker and Sons is highly recommended.

Todd came out to install a new water heater in my home. During the installation he identified a large amount of sediment in my system that required him to flush out all the water lines in the house. He took the time to address each area to make sure they were clear of the sediment and left the areas spotless when he finished. Todd was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Barker and Sons Plumbing and Todd.

Barker & Sons is by far the best plumbing company in the business. We arrived home late on a Saturday night to find our 20 year old water heater leaking, which likely indicated it needed to be replaced. To avoid further leaking, I shut off the water and gas line to the heater and connected a hose to empty the tank to avoid any further leaking.

We figured no plumbing business was open on Sunday but sure enough B&S was open and attended to us immediately. I gave them a call first thing in the morning and within a short time, they sent a technician to my home to provide a free inspection and gave me a few options to consider. Once it was determined it needed to be replaced (which the average life span of a water heater is 10-12, so I got extremely lucky to hit 20), they immediately got to work and all my problems started to disappear.

Todd my technician was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! He was very polite, knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail where it made you feel like you were talking to a friend. It was really refreshing to experience outstanding customer service from start to finish, the moment you call and get a real genuine staff member, to the final installation and running hot water. My entire experience was very smooth, professional, and stress-free. If every business operated with this level of care, with great management and technicians who are passionate about their job, highly skilled, and very confident in what they do, the world would be a better place.

If you’re looking for a plumbing service who will treat you like a person and not just a number, a company who is at the top of their game and will take care of you and make your water issue feel trivial, this is hands down the plumbing company to go with. I highly recommend Barker and Sons for major plumbing services! I recently encountered an emergency with my plumbing and sewer main, and immediately looked for plumbing companies. Ivan and Josh from Barker and Sons were available to investigate in the evening and explained to me the entire process from investigation, to exposing the existing main, replacing with new pipe, and cleanup. The work was completed in less than a week, and I am satisfied with their work.

Orlando was my technician. He is, very kind, professional, communicates and clear on what needed to be done. I trust his recommendations and appreciates the time he gives if anything is unclear. He is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him.

Todd has provided excellent product knowledge & explained entire repair process & educated me regarding my gas line that was leakingt explaining the expence really went above & beyond so that l fully understood the repair to be dine.Todd also showed me where the water shut off is on my home & how to tell if a gas line ess on or off. Three technicians (Jonathan, Julio, and Bany) came to our house to fix a clogged kitchen sink, and they did a fantastic job. They were professional, friendly, and worked very efficiently as a team. They quickly identified the problem and fixed it, and they left everything clean and working perfectly. We really appreciated their professionalism and great attitude. Highly recommend their service!

Your web page stated “provide common courtesy, respect, quality work and professionalism” and your team provided me all these qualities. From the first call to the end of the project (and it was a major project) the office personnel and the entire repair crew were fantastic. I was kept informed throughout the project, with the what and why something was being done by showing me and/or with pictures. They calmed my anxiety from the initial visit. I have dealt with many plumbing companies and I can honestly say you have the “cream of the crop”!

Iggy was a great help. He stayed for an extended period making sure the job was done to an above par level. There was no attempt to half ass the job and made sure to do their best to not require another visit.

Great service, friendly staff, work completed in a timely manner. Shout out to Ricky, Pete, Ricardo, Ivan, and Connor who did an outstanding job on the install and clean-up. They were polite, answered all my questions, were easy to work with and worked efficiently. A little better communication from the timing on arrivals and getting back to me from the office could have been better but overall I'd highly recommend working with this company.

I gotta say, Orlando our technician was great! Fast, friendly service and very kind. Replaced our water heater cleaned up after (Even on hands and knees) and really cared about his work. He’s been to our home twice now and you won’t find a better technician!

Nice surprise!! We received a call from Barker and Sons that they could send a technician out to look at our issue this morning (Sunday on a Holiday Weekend) and it would not be considered an "emergency" call. We didn't expect a call until Monday to set up an apppt. Alex from Barker and Sons arrived and looked at our issue. He was polite and honest in his feedback. We appreciate that Barker and Sons sent out a Tech on a Holiday Weekend and didn't treat it as an emergency because it was not. Very happy with their service. We were happy with their previous work. The quote we received for the work that wasn't needed at this time was less than the previous plumber that came by on Friday. We will be calling Barker and Sons in the future!
The work was to look at a Water Heater Ball Valve that we were told was rusted out and needed immediate replacement.
Reasonable price....less than previous estimate. There was no charge for the visit.

Water Softener + Conditioner Installation
Cory and Jesse were great!! I had a tankless water heater, and the heater treater scale protection filter started leaking. Cory initially came and inspected it, I decided to upgrade the whole house water system with the water softener and conditioner. Cory was very knowledgeable and offered great price, was very responsive, flexible and quick to schedule.
Want to give a shoutout to the entire staff at Barker and Sons, i contacted various plumbing companies and got different quotes. Barker and Sons not only offer great price, they are long standing reputable family, from every point of interactions even the initial calls, you can tell the difference and they really care about customer experience and satisfaction, and stand behind their service.
On installation day, Cory and Jesse did a super swift and thorough job. Installed the water softener and descaled the water heater and unclog the drains in my bathroom too.
Want to give special shoutout to Cory, for going above and beyond, after they left, my recirculation pump started leaking for some reason, it may or may not even be related, Cory returned the same day and worked late into the night to ensure it’s not leaking. Really demonstrated high level of professionalism and high standard of excellence, not taking short cuts and making sure the job is well done!

UPDATE: J&G returned to troubleshoot an issue that arose post heater installation—they spent a lot of time digging in on a tough issue, all with a great attitude and considered it part of the original installation. I’m extremely pleased with the service levels of this company and their desire to make the customer satisfied! Highly recommend!!

I discovered a leak in my upstairs toilet drain and searched for a plumber online. Barker and Sons Plumbing &Rooter had excellent ratings, so I made an appointment with them right away. Both of Bo and Rudy are friendly and so nice. I’m glad I did—they were incredibly efficient, completing the entire repair in just half a day. Iggy and Chris did an excellent job cleaning my kitchen drains.
They explained everything very clearly and even used a camera to show us the heavy grease buildup inside the pipes. They patiently flushed and cleaned the drains again and again until everything was completely clear.
