Luna Electric did a full electrical overhaul at my building and delivered excellent work. Cesar and his crew were professional, on time, and detail-oriented. Communication was clear and the job was done right. Highly recommend.

Cesar and his team came out for an inspection the same day after we had lost some power due to an old breaker. They got the power back up and came back the next day to repair it. We also had work done in the garage and a ring light installed. We have an older home so we are so grateful for for Luna Electric, they a reliable company with great ethic and fair prices. We recently had Luna Electric come out to evaluate whether we needed to add a subpanel for an upcoming home remodel. Ray and Ryan were both prompt, professional, and took the time to walk us through all of our options. After a thorough evaluation, they determined that we do not need to add a subpanel at this time, which was a huge relief.

Not friendly or helpfully. Never again

I (an nationwide customer) came in to get a price on a 4 wire temporary grounding termination cable. Not an off the shelf kind of product. I went into the office to get inside sales and the Gexpro rude representative in there told me to go to counter sales. Like counter sales have the time and knowledge to look up an odd item. I tried to explain it but apparently this Gexpro representative does not want this national customer. Good to know.

I needed some electrical fuses urgently, but they weren’t available anywhere in town. My salesperson, Jeff Watts, went above and beyond—he picked up the fuses from Los Angeles and had them delivered to me the very next morning. Other suppliers told me it would take a week or more to get them in. Thanks to Jeff’s effort, my customer was thrilled we got their A/C back up and running so quickly—especially in this heat! I’ll definitely be using Rexel Bakersfield for my future electrical supply needs. Also, a big thanks to Adrian in the store for the warm welcome and making the pickup fast and efficient. 5 stars!

Ken and his son were fantastic! They installed several light fixtures in our home and did an excellent job. They were friendly, punctual, honest, and their pricing was very reasonable. You can really tell they take pride in their work and care about their customers. It’s refreshing to find a trustworthy family-run business these days. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future!

Ken just left our house and just as true as the other positive reviews, he got our electrical problem sorted out! Our home is a little over 40 years old and he knew exactly how to troubleshoot it! He looked at all 3 of our electrical panels and even identified mislabeled breakers. You can almost see the thought processes happening and he takes the time to educate you. He is a wealth of knowledge! We feel like we know our home better than ever! Ken is honest , straightforward and easy to understand. His prices are very reasonable! We’ll definitely be calling on him for all of our electrical needs!

Ken of McNamee Electric is a god sent. It looks like the google update erased a lot of Ken’s original ratings but it was because he had so many good reviews that I reached out to this company. I was so overwhelmed with my situation at the time and didn’t want to deal with getting ripped off by a handyman. Ken is licensed with decades of experience. The best part is he is very responsive, explains every step in the process and really cares about his customers. Ken had to be the one to break the news that our house had to be rewired but I knew he was being truthful and guided us throughout the process and gave us realistic timelines. The rewire was relatively fast but he was also moving our panel which triggered a bigger project with pg&e. Needless to say once PG&E got involved the process was long but Ken continued to check in with us and continued to advocate for us with pg&e. I 100 percent recommend McNamee Electric for any electrical needs. They are responsive, reasonably priced, and truly care for their customers.

Ken was very prompt and friendly. He gave a reasonable quote quickly, and had the job done within the next day. He and his son installed a couple outdoor weatherproof outlets and were done within a few hours - we barely even heard them working in the attic.

Ken the Electrician is truly outstanding. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also honest and genuinely cares about helping his customers save money whenever possible. Many of my friends and family have reached out to him for electrical work or advice, and he has always been reliable and helpful.
I originally contacted Ken because I had a power shortage issue and discovered some burnt wiring in my home. Ken and his team came out, carefully walked me through the problem, and were completely transparent about everything. He recommended a full home rewire due to the age of the wiring and the potential fire risk, which gave me peace of mind knowing safety was the priority.
Once I decided to move forward, Ken was very accommodating he gave me time to prepare the house and stayed true to his timeline from start to finish. In addition to the rewire, he upgraded my electrical panel, moved it outside, and installed a 220-amp panel to prevent breaker overload issues. The entire project was completed efficiently and with great attention to detail. He even went above and beyond by adding extra lights, outlets, and switches throughout the house.
What really sets Ken apart is his communication and reliability. He coordinated everything with PG&E and city inspectors, keeping me informed every step of the way. Before finding Ken, I had several electricians come by who either never followed up or completely ghosted me but Ken and his team were dependable from day one.
Even after the project was completed, Ken continued to provide amazing support. When I accidentally installed a ceiling fan incorrectly and kept tripping a breaker, he came by, quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it in about 15 minutes, and didn’t charge me. Instead, he took the time to explain what went wrong so I could understand it myself.
Ken genuinely treats his customers like family. He even went out of his way to make sure our pets had cold water while working around the house, which meant a lot to us.

I called them to fix a wiring issue at home and they showed up on time and got straight to work. The electrician was professional, explained the problem clearly, and had everything sorted quicker than I expected. Pricing felt fair for the service, and I’d definitely use them again if anything comes up.

Our technician (Shay) was responsive and professional while being welcoming and knowledgeable. They gave us a good price and were extremely friendly all while trying to move appointments around to get us in quicker.

Fast outstanding service. I had a mostly self inflicted issue with the electrical in my kitchen because we used an unlicensed electrician. Gabe showed up, and after we shared a chuckle at my problem, he quickly troubleshot the issue with professional tools, and showed me where we had gone wrong. We will call Electrical ASAP every time from now on.
