Excellent company..

I ordered a part from Graybar in Bakersfield on Wednesday and was told it would be available for pickup first thing the next morning. I returned Friday late morning to acquire the part, rather than returning on Thursday. After entering the store I stood at their checkout/order stations to speak with a representative and pay for the ordered part, but both individuals were helping two other customers. One of the reps asked if I was picking up a part and what name it was under, at which time I provided him the information. He asked if I was going to purchase the two other items I had grabbed while standing their waiting. I replied yes and he informed me it was going to be a while and lifted and gestured at the piece of paper in his hand that he was writing a parts list for the current customer. He also stated the other representative was engaged with another customer, hence explaining what may cause the delay. Other customers began forming a line behind me. When I first walked into the store my watch read approximately 10:20 a.m., and I walked out of the store at 10:57 a.m. I do appreciate the parts that I received from Graybar, but I am not sure if it was worth taking the thirty seven minutes out of my workday. I probably should have just ordered the parts myself on Amazon because nothing can justify that wait time and customer service to me.

What kind of a store is this? I just wanted to pay cash for a simple 4$ connector, we don't need to involve paperwork on this. Why do I have to show you my drivers license for this? Really why? I give you money, you give me goods, let's not make this complicated. You don't need to data mine me for a simple transaction. I don't need you to know my name or address or any other PERSONAL information. I just want to pay for a simple part and go on with my day.

You tell me cash is not accepted, okay then I'll pay with my debit card, which I need to enter my pin to use. Who knows MY pin number, I do, the owner of the card. I don't need to show you my drivers license to use my debit card. If it is a credit card, then yes I understand asking for ID, but not on a debit card. And why don't you accept cash, you know the stuff of legal tender for goods?

Why was what should have been a simple transaction made so complicated? There are plenty of competitors out there, I will definitely not be going back to Graybar any time in the future. You guys should be putting the customer first, not data mining. Keep it simple, you guys sell products, let the customer pay how they would like to without taking their PERSONAL information if they do not wish to divulge this information.

Wish I could give zero stars , they suck, they are rude and they take forever to do anything. I called in my will call order 1 hr ago, they said it will be ready in 30 mins. I've been here waiting for 45 mins now. Screw this place.

Paid 600$ for a job to get done and found out they did it improperly a few weeks later as the original issue was persisting. The owner backed up on his word and essentially said “deal with it” so very poor business attitude. Wouldn’t recommend this place

Unprofessional. Had appointment at 5 for estimate. I took off work early and drove across town through traffic to meet him. He called at 5:15 and said he couldn't make it until 7. Irked, but ok. Said would call when on his way. Waited around at location til 7:30. Never heard from him again.

Liscenced contractor and electricians that work efficiently and was cost efficient, Time was a factor and I had peace of mind with communication in all areas of remodel. Definitely recommend T.I.L

I had a kitchen light upgrade project. The price was sooo good and the guys he sent did a great job. One of them even donated to our #bootsandbenniesforbakersfield drive.
I would recommend them again.

Tommy gave me a prompt quote and even continued to follow up after I was injured and had to delay. When we were ready for new lights, his team arrived next day, and installed all of our hanging lights from the vaulted ceilings in 4 hours. They went above and beyond and cleaned up well.

The work was as timely as possible considering all the circumstances (applications/permits/PG&E reconnect etc). And the loan of the generator to run my husband's medical equipment as well as the refrigerator was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this company. Tommy is very unprofessional with his business dealings. We hired him for a big remodel project to upgrade our home panel. He wasn’t punctual; didn’t explain his plans clearly when I tried to clarify via text he didn’t clarify. He showed up late several times. Left my bathroom outlet hanging from the wall. he showed up early a whole day before scheduled. Resulting in him not having the county permitting office show up to issue the permit. Even worse Edison wasn’t scheduled to disconnect from the main! Tommy took it upon himself to disconnect Edison’s lines; all while blaming Edison for his error in in calendar. Then Edison showed up explained the fire danger in what he did illegally disconnecting service. Then Edison said he could lose his license for his behavior (all the while blaming his ‘secretary’ for the scheduling error), and he took our meter. We were left without power and then put on a generator that wasn’t strong enough to power anything but lights. After a couple days with no functional power Tommy came and hooked the house illegally to Edison there is no meter I didn’t want that I requested a better generator to make sure he didn’t get into trouble and lose his license. A risk seeming far too great to take when he seems to employ so many family members. It’s a shame I thought he was a good person but he is very impatient and combative and not someone I’d recommend doing business within the future.

We had collected nine different electrical projects that needed doing. Tom and his crew of FIVE certified electricians arrived ON TIME, and did all the work in less than four hours...new ceiling fan, three new ceiling fixtures, fixed the doorbell, put in two outdoor GFI outlets for gazebo lighting, replaced the light under our china cabinet, put a new outlet inside my pantry for LED lights, and ran a CAT5 line to my husband's office adjacent to the house. They cleaned up everything, and were absolutely delightful to work with. Looking forward to having them come do more work soon!

Tommy’s interior lighting did a great job on home back in July. They installed solar panels and did some electrical work. I’m very happy with job performance and communication. Job was done in a timely manner. If you’re looking to go solar or just need any type of electrical work I highly recommend Tommy’s interior lighting!

After talking with “Tommy”, the owner, about a recent need for some lighting repairs, I immediately felt very comfortable with this company. So pleased with their work! I've had Tommy's Interior Lighting out to my home for jobs big and small. Tommy arrives promptly and gives a good description of the work to be done and a very reasonable estimate. Getting on his schedule has always been to the time of my preference and then his crew gets right to work .....and they clean as they go!
Sometimes I don't make it easy for them to work around the unique spaces on the work site, but they treat my home and belongings with TLC and it always turns out great. I know I can depend on these guys for any future work I may need. I recommend them!

Tom and all his guys have been great. They did all the electrical for my remodel (lighting, fans, TV, new outlets, removing outlets, whole house fan,etc.). Great communication, always on time, and always very helpful.
