The installation was quicker than expected. The system is outperforming the projected model and I am seeing a better return on investment than anticipated. Also the app monitoring of the energy makes it easy to see what the system is doing and provides confidence my investment is always working.

I cannot recommend Cal Contractor highly enough. They installed upon the agreed date, left the roof in excellent condition and it worked just as they said it would. We owed nothing when true-up time arrived. In fact PGE sent us a check for over $300. You cannot go wrong using this company. Five stars plus.

November 2024- This is our second experience with Cal Contractors, and once again, they exceeded our expectations. We were notified by PG&E that our solar system might be underperforming. We tried to contact our installation company and the manufacturer, only to discover they had gone bankrupt. Having previously worked with Cal Contractors, we felt confident they would inspect our system and provide us with an honest assessment of the situation.

We called them, and they arrived promptly within a day. They conducted various calculations from both the roof and ground level, thoroughly explaining the condition of our ten-year-old system. To summarize, our system is performing at its optimal level. They elaborated on how various factors, such as sunlight and temperature, affect performance, and I learned more in that visit than I have in the past decade of owning a solar system.

While they could have easily suggested additional services or equipment, they were transparent about the return on investment (ROI) regarding our current equipment's lifespan and our PG&E NEM status. At this time, the ROI is not advantageous for us. However, when the need for more equipment or services arises, we will undoubtedly turn to Cal Contractors.

With so many solar companies out there, it can be challenging to find a trustworthy one. If you seek a reliable and professional company, look no further than Cal Contractors.

June 2024-On a hot Saturday in June, we realized that our solar was no longer generating power and we were (OMG!) using power from the PGE grid to run both air conditioners. We contacted Cal Contractor Services and received a message that they would contact me the following Monday. They were promptly on site early Monday morning, tested our system thoroughly, and resolved the issue. We have found Cal Contractors very professional, kind, and courteous. A pleasure to work with and highly recommended.

Our experience couldn't have been better! They were great to work with. And the installation was superb. Esthetically pleasing. Needless to say we're totally pleased and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

After getting the run a round from the original installers of my solar I reached out to Cal Contractor. Very responsive, quickly found the problem with my system and made the repairs. Felt like a valued customer which was greatly appreciated.

Nick and Chris were great. Our updated wheelchair accessible shower and bath came out great. Changed hinges on does so didn't have to change out all the doors. Cost was reasonable for all the work they did
