I gave 3 stars just because Christ looked like a very nice person. He came to our house, took a look at the project and told us he will give us an estimate within 1 week. But, we never got a call or text back and he didn't respond to my text. He could just say he is not willing to work on our project.

Excellent work, completed quicker than expected. Mel was great to work with.

Chris has a very bad habit of not responding to left messages and or e-mails. He has promised to call me back within 24 hours several different times, but never follows thru. I've been phone chasing him for almost a month now regarding work that he did for me. At first I took this very personal, but now after reading other customer reviews, I see I'm not the only one he ignores. Chris needs a class in profession reliability and time management.

I had nothing short of a sprinkler emergency and was desperate for help. I reached out to Facebook friends for help and several recommended Stockdale Landscaping. They were the utmost professionals, arrived promptly as scheduled. I was so pleased with their work I used them on a rental property with a complicated system. Their prices were competitive, the work was completed on time, they worked around my tenant’s schedule. Polite, professional, and skilled. Thank you Chris and your team. You saved the day: Twice!

The landscaper repair guy (Mel?) saved me by repairing a sprinkler line leak that was a headache and difficult for me to do. Great job and quickly! Thanks.

Had trouble with my sprinkler system and called Chris out. They came and gave me a quote to fix it that was very reasonable for the work needed. They came out and fixed everything including a few things they found not working and now my system is working great. Really appreciate there work. Workers were very respectful and got the job done in a timely manner.

We had a bunch of trees planted and some ground cover put in along with having some sprinklers repaired. They did a good job with the sprinklers, but the ground cover died within a couple months even though we did everything they said. The biggest problem though was with the trees. They kept falling over even with the stakes. We asked them to come back out several times to fix them. They would ignore my calls and emails for weeks then would finally get ahold of me. They then charged me to come back out to restake the trees that they planted. I had spent thousands in this job and they couldn’t restake the trees without us paying again. We now have three more trees that the cheaper stakes they used broke and now they are falling. The few they used the better stakes on are still standing. I would not use this business again. I am now having to call someone else to come fix their problems.

We couldn't be happier with the job done by Alex today! He worked real hard and was very personable and did a great job putting in new lines, new timer and new valves in our sprinkler system! Thank you so much!!

I had Stockdale Landscape do my backyard and I'm very impressed with the finished result. They took their time and made my yard a place I want to spend a ton of time in moving forward. I highly suggest Stockdale Landscape for your landscape and artificial turf projects. They also did a wonderful concrete walkway for me!

Stockdale Landscape did and excellent job. I used the services for irrigation repair and timer replacement. I called on a Wednesday and someone was out to do the job on Friday. Chris was a great communicator and the front office was helpful with scheduling. The service technician was professional, knowledgeable and fast.

Eddie came out for an assessment of our 30+ year old irrigation system. We knew we would go with Stockdale Landscape as soon as we meet Eddie and observed him building a plan to use the current infrastructure to upgrade our irrigation system. Eddie and his irrigation crew were professional and made sure the job was done on time. They were great about answering questions, and very respectful of the property.

Whether it is a complete landscaping project or a small irrigation fix, Stockdale Landscape is professional and great to deal with. I have had experience with them on both types of projects and couldn't be happier.

Chris is great! Very responsive and helpful. We had a bad valve in our sprinkler system that was flooding our yard. We couldn’t get an appointment the same day, but he was kind enough to quickly come by and help get the system turned off until his guys could come out the next day to replace the valve. They’ll for sure have our business again.

I had an extremely poor experience.

We had to call them out multiple times after an extremely unprofessional install.

As you can see below, the owner is trying to talk his way around it, but expected to be paid in full for work that he did not complete, or work that was found to be of sub-par craftsmanship after Chris claimed the project was complete.

He complained about it every step of the way.

They made a mess of my yard, sidewalk, and pool deck--left dirt piled everywhere and me to clean it up.

He tried to bill me for work he did not complete because he underbid the contract and didn't want to lose any more money than he already had.

The entire episode is basically me coming to the realization that Chris and his team cut corners to avoid having to professionally deal with his numerous and ongoing mistakes.

We now have to take him to court for taking money for a job that was not completed--the full removal of the old sprinkler system, which Chris insisted was necessary for the install of the new system.

There are still exposed cables running everywhere and dead sprinkler heads from the old system all over the yard.

The compliments he's mentioning were early on, and from a cursory glance.

The longer the job went on, the fewer the compliments became, until finally all goodwill was expired and I had to threaten them with legal action to get anything done.

The 'many trips' he's referencing below are for all of the repairs to the system he installed, or the damage that was done to my property.

We paid them for additional work, including concrete work, which I highly recommend you don't use them for--the entire project had to be ripped out and redone.

The gate installation was apparently, at least according to his foreman, completed by an unlicensed contractor.

There were several holes left in the wall of my home from the gate installation and the old sprinkler box removal.

Chris initially came out w/ some time of bonding agent instead of stucco, and I had to make them come out and redo that job.

They destroyed several of my plants during the installation and removal process, and I had to make them come out and fully remove those as well.

Chris even screwed up buying us fake rocks.

He didn't measure the stations he was trying to cover, so the rocks did not fit.

He offered to go get different ones.

We told him not even to bother.

Additionally, there was the matter of some concrete work that he said needed to be done on the driveway, which they didn't do, but he still tried to bill me for.

I highly recommend against using this company for any of your home or commercial construction projects.

Pay close attention to what he is claiming below.

The extra work was him having to come out and install more sprinklers after multiple complaints that the yard was not fully covered, or repairing the damage they did to.my home or plants.

They apparently consider it a discount if they have to return money for work they did not do.

They were paid in full several weeks ago by the financing company, so the claim about not having an issue until it was to to pay them is an easily provable lie.

The guys that did our sprinkler valve replacement were fantastic. Came out even in the hailstorm and kept in touch as to arrival time. They did the work, tested everything afterwards and showed me how to program the new control box. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards and it was really muddy! Hosed it all clean. Would definitely use them again and highly recommended them. Thanks guys.

i moved into a 30 year old custom home we bought from the original owner. the system was functional but had been neglected for at least 15 years. Chris came out and first replaced our sprinkler timer, then checked all the sprinklers, fixed what he could on the spot, and got me a quote for the rest of the necessary fixes within 2 days. i thought it over for a week and decided to have the work done. within days the crew came out and completed the work in one visit. I'm only giving 4 stars because a handful of the drip irrigation needed additional work by myself, but i would certainly use Stockdale landscape again.

I was looking for a local company to install artificial turf for my Sister Rosemary and I came across Stockdale Landscaping on google. They were close by and came over to talk with us about our needs right away. I really liked the friendly service and professionalism of the manager I spoke with Eddie Mangey who understood what was needed for my sister. It was exactly what we asked for. It was done so quickly despite weather issues and permits from HOA causing slight delay. The professional and courteous service was top notch. It looks fantastic!

The work was done on time and in a very professional manner. Could not be more pleased with their work.

Chris and his crew at Stockdale Landscape did an exceptional job from start to finish in transforming my yard. The artificial turf,rock, and cement not only looks amazing, but add values and efficiency to my home. I can maintain the yard with a leaf blower, which eliminates the need for a gardener. I am conserving water with the new drip system and saving money as well. Chris, the owner, was involved the entire process, from drawing a plan, measuring, helping me choose type of turf, and resolved a minor issue with an exposed hose. I would highly recommend Stockdale Landscaping.

I can count on Mel to do a complete job from start to finish and more!! He cares about the work he does!! My garden appreciates the work effort he put into the hours he spends to improve my garden!! And I appreciate it tooo!!
