Very professional. Was able to get same day service on a day with a high temp of 105. It ended up being a quick fix and the house started to cool down quickly. Very friendly team; everyone that I spoke to.

Jeff did a wonderful job repairing our air conditioning system. He was very efficient, kind, and respectful of our home.. His experience and knowledge is noteworthy. He also cleaned and maintained our 2 units. We will definitely be using Island Air in the future.

This company is AWESOME, they are a family owned the employee's are the family members, they all treat you like family!!

They came and helped me because a company representing PG&E didn't correctly do their job correctly........twice now.

IAP, was called about one problem and they were very helpful and figured out the problem over the phone and knew what to do to fix the problem when they came out.

I'd made an appointment for my swamp cooler to be drained a few weeks in advance. I was promised that he would call me to confirm the appointment the day before, which was yesterday. He never called, so I called and reached his voicemail confirming it. I called again this morning also leaving a voicemail but also didn't get a reply. Can't be too professional.

Owner Jeff Gamboa was called regarding our AC not cooling this past Friday, and was at our residence within 30 minutes. Jeff had the problem fixed literally in 15 minutes.
I recommend Island Air Professionals to anyone who has an AC problem.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My AC went out so I gave island a call to get it diagnosed and they came out the same day. I was at work but my wife was at home when they showed up. They then replaced a $40 part and tells my wife after it’s already done that it would be $400 ( for a $40 part and 20 mins of work) and we would receive an invoice. I contacted the manager telling her next time they should get consent before doing the work and she proceeded to call my wife a liar and was very rude over the phone. Do not use this company

My AC went out and Jeff from Island Air Professionals came out for inspection on the same day. He was able to fix the problem quickly and explained the issue in terms that I was able to understand. I have used a few different AC complanies over the years and Island Air Professionals is by far the best one out there! They treated me like family. Will definitely be using this company for all future AC needs.

I’ve used this company twice in the last two or so years. Both times they were very responsive and quick to come out to help me in a jam. Last week my AC started squealing really loud when we were out in the pool. I immediately contacted the owner Crystal Gamboa which gave me advice on what to do and what could possibly happen in the mean time before they could make it out the next morning. When they came the next morning they discovered that it was only the insulation that had came lose and was getting caught in the fan I believe. So it was an easy fix (Thank God). They only charged me the $99 for the diagnostic and I was very happy about that. This is a small family business with big time results! I would highly recommend to my friends and family.

Our A/C went out on a Tuesday night. Wednesday morning, I called Island Air Professionals for help. I called at 8:38 am, and they were able to come to our house and fix our A/C by 9:55 am. I was very impressed with their response time and appreciative they were able to fix our A/C so quickly because it gets hot in Bakersfield, and we have dogs. They were also fairly priced, and law enforcement friendly. I will be keeping their phone number saved in my phone in case we ever need help with our A/C again.

I had called out another heating company and the technician clearly had no idea what he was doing. He basically tried to over charge me for something I didn't even need. So I sent him away. I called island air and was greeted by Crystal. Who was very helpful in getting an apartment set up for the next day. Jeff showed up and diagnosed the issue in no time. He had our heater working properly within an hour. Very kind and knowledgeable in his field. The price was very reasonable didn't try and over charge for the service. Thank you Jeff and Crystal. The tech came out within 30 minutes of calling on a Sunday when the temperature was over 100 F. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and he clearly explained what the issue was and how he was going to fix it. He then provided advice on how to better maintain my AC unit to prevent failures in the future, and my AC was up and running less than an hour after initially calling dispatch. Very positive experience, I would recommend Island Air to any of my homeowner friends in Bakersfield and Shafter.

I contacted IAP today because my AC unit wasn't cooling properly. Jacob, who was extremely kind, helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone -for free, and it actually resolved the problem. My water heater went out and Island Air was able to squeeze me in almost immediately to replace it. We replaced our old heater with a tankless and the job was done in only a couple hours. Knowledgeable staff able to inform us on the pros/cons of tankless heaters. Call Island Air if you need fast and reliable service!
