I have used LaVerne & Son for the past 10 years for my heating and air conditoning unit. They are very professional and knowledgeable. Laverne & Son's contact me to schedule the routine maintenance to ensure my unit is running efficiently.

Had my AC Unit serviced by Ray, "return tech." to my home from LaVerne & Son. I have had great A/C /Heating service performed by Ray throughout the years.

I was assisted Brandon Chamblee, by far he has been one of the most profesional HVAC technician that I have encountered. His kindness and manors are outstanding. Thank you Brandon for your outstanding professional service.

Everything went well. Brandon was courteous and didn't waste
time. He called prior to arriving. Just one small thing: I noted,
on the invoice, the credit card says "Mastercard", but the actual
card I used was Discover. You might want to check to see if
your billing went through; I will also check with Discover.

The tech showed up with a bunch of tools like he was ready to do a lot of work to do the "winter service". All he did was use what looked like a $5 fan from Amazon to fan the dust off my furnace. He didn't look at the condenser because "that's the summer service". Then he took pictures of different parts of my unit and gave me a quote to buy a new unit for my home. This wasn't a service visit, this was getting charged to get a quote for a new unit that I don't need. DO NOT use their "service".

I was given Laverne and Sons name to me my friend. This is a true family business. They don’t just install and leave. They stay with you with any problem. Anytime everyone goes out of their way to be sure that if you do have a problem, it is solved. Don’t forget that only do they do Solar. They also do air conditioning

Rex was the technician and he was extremely helpful and educated me on the system I had which was nice. He was able to break down the issues and clearly explain them to me. Service impeccable. Thank you!

I just want to pass on how professional and experienced LaVerne and Son has been for us. I contacted them asking for a quote to install solar system for our house. After viewing the 3 different quotes from different contractors we chose to go with LaVerne. We scheduled a date and time when they would start. The job was COMPLETE in 2 days. LaVerne sent out 13 people to get it done in order not to drag the job out. This was a big job installing a 12kw system with 20 kw battery backup. Rex LaVerne (owner) was here start to finish ensuring the job was perfect and on schedule. His team did a great job and I would highly recommend them anytime.

Few things are as painful as coming home from a trip at 1:30 in the morning to discover the AC had gone out—and it was 105 degrees inside. They say not to make big decisions under duress, and this was exactly that.

In our search for a local authorized Trane dealer, we found that LaVerne & Sons was the only one in town. I can confidently say that’s not the only thing that sets them apart. They replied to our inquiry almost immediately, scheduled a visit, and gave us a thorough diagnosis and estimate. The price they quoted was the price we paid—no surprises.

They took the time to help us choose a system that fit both our needs and our budget. Since we needed to replace the entire unit, we also added an air purification filter to help with Bakersfield’s less-than-ideal air quality. Our home is 20 years old, and the primary bedroom gets the full blast of the 5 o’clock sun—but now, for the first time, our room actually stays cool.

Very professional service. Frank, the technician, was explaining everything clearly and we were able to get a good understanding of the HVAC manaintence and care from him.
