We recently used Venables due wind storm damage to trees. Responsive, professional and quality service, in addition to reasonable prices. Highly recommended for all tree service needs.

Took them a few days to call back and the ballpark estimate they provided was pretty high. Didn't use them. I've seen their work at other homes and they seem to do a decent job. Although they left one yard pretty messy after trimming the trees there.

My experience with this company was barely acceptable, first they didn't come the day I had an appointment and I had to call them to find this out, then they arrive on my second scheduled appt., trimmed 3 trees 2 of which were quite large and left all the branches on the plants in my yard below for their clean-up guys to come and clear supposedly within the hour, they came 4 hours later. I had expressed my concern about the delay as I didn't want my bushes to be damaged, I was told not to worry that they, the bushes, would be fine....NOT!! There were several flattened bushes and the tree branches mutilated my rose tree! And one last thing, their clean-up was a joke, branches left in my plants, on the ground and in my planter. There was no sweeping or blowing either.....I called to complain but Shawn was never able to get back to me! Needless to say, I won't be back next year!!!!!

We recently posted about needing help with an overgrown bush in our backyard and received several quotes, some as high as $500 just for that shrub! Then Jeremiah reached out with a very fair quote. Not only did he expertly handle the bush, but he also took care of two additional trees at a fraction of the cost others quoted for just the one job. His professionalism and value are unmatched. Woke up this morning to half of my tree being took out during a recent rain /wind storm. I heard someone in my neighborhood having some tree work done so I researched the company who was there and gave Venables Tree Services a call,
They came quickly and gave a fair quote to remove the broken limbs and get the yard cleaned up . I'm super happy with their services, friendliness and prices . I would highly recommend them and will be using them again

A few months ago they were trimming all the trees in Rio bravo, when they got to the ones behind our house one of the trees they were cutting fell into our yard and broke some of our lights and had fallen on top of our boysenberry bush resulting in it dying. To get the tree out the workers were jumping in and out of our yard. They had moved some of our planters and pots into the actual golf course, which they left after getting the tree out. There was a huge mess left for us to clean up of twigs branches and leaves all over our yard. There was no apology or “our mistake” I had reached out to the owners of Rio bravo and they said they would reach out to them but of course nothing ever came about. The tree they cut that fell into our yard is dead also. I’m shocked by how unprofessional the whole situation was. I definitely would look elsewhere if you don’t want damage to your property.

After hiring a company to butchered my trees claiming to be an licensed arborists, I found Kern Tree Service through Michael Monji the tree doctor. Kern Tree Service knows tree species and will trim according. He cleans his equipment between trees so as not to spread disease.

were very affordable and cleaned up the property better than any other tree service we have ever used. I wish I would have taken before pictures to show the contrast. I am so happy we found this business.

Tyler was on time and polite. He made a suggestion that I’m glad we went with so that it didn’t leave a big gap. Didn’t take long and cleaned up after. Ended up charging less than the quote, which was nice. He also gave a little background on the tree and made some other suggestions for when we want to trim the whole thing. Will be calling back when we decide to do so.

I called, left a message. Tyler was prompt in calling me back. We set up a time for an estimate. He was on time and gave us a good quote. He was busy and asked if we could wait a week. I agreed and authorized him to put us on the schedule. Ten days later I called and left a message wondering where were were in the schedule and never got a response. I could have had my trees done a week ago! I had to go back to my 2nd bid and ask them to do the job. Very dissatisfied.

I am so thankful for Kern Tree Services. I will always recommend them. Tyler trimmed my neighbors palms a few months back and did a fantastic job.

I ended up needed my tree trimmed asap. I asked my neighbor for his number and Tyler, from Kern Tree Services contacted back immediately. I explained my needs and sent him a few photos to give him an idea of the trees needs. He was able to quote me out (don't hold me to him being able to do that with all service's, I'm sure each job differs and he might not be able to do the same for other jobs.)

He fit in the job with his tight schedule to help me out. He was great with communication and showed up on time.

Tyler did a fantastic job and cleaned every leaf, branch and twig that was cut down. He ensured my neighbors were not left with trimming on their side.

Tyler even was helpful with my potted plants and recommended some things to help them grow and receive the nutrients needed.

If your seeking an honest, trustworthy and respectful local trimmer, Tyler is your guy. Very pleased! You won't be disappointed.

Tyler at Kern Tree Service gave us a fair and accurate estimate. Was on time, and removed two African Sumacs whose time in our yard was through. He ground the stumps, and left the yard cleaner than when he arrived. Highly recommended, and a really cool guy, too.

Tyler from Kern Tree Service came out and removed a large redwood tree. He did an excellent job grinding down the stump and even cleaned the area to be highly presentable. The service was a great price without sacrificing competency or service. Was easy to work with to get a quote and did an excellent job, would 100% recommend them to anyone needing service.
