I found Rose Oriental Rugs on Yelp a few years ago. They had very good reviews. Since then, I have used this place consistently over the past 2 to 3 years. In each instance, I've found him to be very conscientious and diligent in his work. Great workmanship. Their prices are very reasonable. His 5-star reviews are all very well earned. I have no reason to bother with any other rug cleaning place now. Its worth my drive from Alameda to Albany b/c I know my rug(s) will be in good hands and Rose Oriental will do a great job as always. I found Rose Oriental Rugs when I experienced an unfortunate series of pet accidents on my very large antique Persian (Tabriz) rug. I was looking for someone who knew how to properly respect and care for this rug and clean it the best way. Sam was so kind and helpful and personally came to pick up my rug and educate me about these rugs and explained their careful process -- one they do themselves from start to finish. The care he put into rolling up my rug and returning it and placing it just right was amazing. The smells were removed and it looked better than ever. When a visitor pet had a seizure and messed it up again, he graciously came back with the same kindness and repeated the whole process. They have been flexible with scheduling and always return calls. I could not recommend this business more! If I remember correctly this family has been in the business for a very long time so they can be trusted with the most confidence with your rugs. Don't hesitate to have them help you!

I’ve tried multiple rug cleaning services, but none compare to Tulanian Oriental Rugs. Sam personally ensured my handmade wool rug received specialized hand washing treatment, and the difference is night and day. I saved this beautiful antique rug from a home because it was going to be thrown away. It was so filthy and dogs had peed on it for years. It was disgusting!! Sam (extremely knowledgable and kind) picked it up (and returned!) in Alameda, repaired some frayed edging and thoroughly cleaned, sanitized and removed all pet odor. He completely restored it for its next 100 years. Absolutely amazing skill. Total pros and so kind.

I usually dont write reviews but I needed to for this. I had a rug that my cat sprayed and the smell was the worst! I tried to shampoo the rug myself and it just spread and drenched the entire rug with the smell. It was so bad I even considered dumping the carpet. However, after considering the value of the rug, I had to try and save it but I was really doubtful. I looked online and checked reviews and found Rose Oriental Rugs and Sam. I called Sam and he assured me that he would be able to take care of it. Rose Oriental Rugs is a family buisness and He noted they go back several generations. I still had my doubts because the smell was just that bad. Sam told me dont worry he will pick it up, wash it, and bring it back 100% smell free. After a couple of weeks, the carpet is back home and smell free. To me its a minor miracle because that smell was like a nightmare but now its gone! I would recommend them to anyone that needs a rug cleaned.

We never realize how dirty our windows are until they are clean - it is amazing. Super job by my team at A-1. They were very thorough, cleaning our gutters, solar cells and all the many windows (inside & outside). Very professional.

I was very pleased with the job that A1 did. The windows and screens are unbelievably clean and the cleaner was was careful not to leave any water at the bottom of the sills or on the wood floors. He worked independently and ensured that he had not missed any windows. He was punctual. This is the second time I have used A1 services and on both occasions the work was very professional.

Appointment was easy to make on-line, professional service person arrived on time and set to work cleaning all the outside windows, skylight, and solar panels. Then I asked him to clean the hard to reach indoor windows. They have never looked so good!Cleaned up after himself. Bill arrived within a week. Easy peasy!

I have a two-story redwood deck, which has lots of railing and, consequently, lots of little fence-like vertical posts that support the railing. A1 power-washed, sanded, re-stained and re-sealed everything except the little vertical posts for $5675, which was on par with what I was expecting to pay (other quotes I got 2-3 years ago from other businesses were in the $5-6K range. I didn’t actually hire anyone at that time because other expensive maintenance needs emerged so I had to postpone the deck). Everything went smoothly, which I really appreciate - no missed appointments, no late arrivals, no last-minute rescheduling, no mistakes or oversights on the written estimate. I called in early March 2021 to schedule an estimate. Stuart, the owner, met with me a few days later and delivered a written estimate within a day of our meeting. We scheduled the job to occur about six weeks later, and it went off exactly as I was told it would, thanks to Eliseo who actually did the work. I would highly recommend A1. They are skilled, reliable and fairly priced. I have worked with other businesses that don't have those qualities. It is such a relief to find a business like A1, and I would definitely recommend them.

A-1 Clear Choice did an excellent job today cleaning the gutters on our house and doing minor repairs on downspouts. Their two workers , Brian and Wilbert , were on time , friendly, efficient and thorough. Office staff was professional and friendly , maybe sometimes slow to respond to calls or email , but everything worked out to our satisfaction. We do highly recommend A-1.
