HVAC installed by FisherAir in 2006. Discovered my ~20 year old air conditioner was leaking water. Called FisherAir. Made an appointment. Tim L. was my technician. Tim quickly diagnosed the drain line was clogged. So, as not to have this problem again, Tim recommended installing a Condensate Clean Out Device with Safety Shut Off. I have maintained a Residential Maintenance Service Agreement with FisherAir since 2006 (Jason L was my technician for many years). FisherAir comes out twice a year - in the late spring to perform preventative maintenance on the air conditioner; in late fall to perform preventative maintenance on the furnace. Over the years, the compressor has had a couple of components replaced. The preventative maintenance is a testament to the excellent performance of my HVAC. FisherAir office personnel and technicians are excellent, first-rate, superb! Keep up your good work, FisherAir ….. and a special thanks to Tim L!

I had concerns regarding high energy costs and wanted input on how I can save on energy. Living Air Design suggested installing a Mini-Split HVAC in a room (s) which we occupy mostly instead of running the central unit. I had LAD install a unit in my family room which saves me 220 KWs monthly. I am very satisfied with the unit.

I was referred to Living Air Design by a General Contractor who had recently completed a major home renovation. Project scope was the replacement of a thirty-five-year-old HVAC system with a high efficiency Heat Pump. Greg Shubin, Living Air Design’s owner, examined the existing A/C unit, air handler, ductwork and answered my questions. I was impressed by his technical knowledge and the fact he had been in the HVAC business for many years both in the USA and previously Australia. He followed up with an easy-to-understand project definition and reasonable cost estimate. Jacob Shubin (son) and one assistant did the removal of old equipment and installation of five-ton Samsung Heat pump, air handler, zone dampers and web enabled thermostats. All work was performed in a professional and timely manner. Living Air Design managed obtaining City Permits and required California State HERS test. I highly recommend Living Air Design.

My a/c stopped working on one of the hottest days. One of their techs came out, evaluated my system, quickly found the issue- bad capacitor. Had one on his truck and got us cool again. Will be using them for maintenance now on and in the future after remodel to install a more energy efficient system. Thanks for the to notch experience! Can’t wait for the finished project!

We use Living Air for both maintenance and repair. Always Johnny on the spot and very fair pricing. We have some older equipment and they come up with creative and realistic repairs to keep us running. Jacob is awesome! I would highly recommend.

Living Air Design came out assessed our needs, came up with a design and we in turn, put all our trust in them! We are 100 x 100 times happy with the 2 Samsung ductless a/c ~ heating units. The units cool down the rooms QUICKLY and heat up the rooms QUICKLY and QUIETLY. Their expert technician worked very efficiently and was in and out in a day. All the old ducts were removed and hauled away. We will use Living Air Design for our future heating and air conditioning installation and maintenance needs. Hands down THE BEST.

Had a really, really great experience with the guys here, including Greg and Jacob (who was our technician).

We had a SAMSUNG mini split that we really like, but has had some problems over the years with leaks and low freon. Very, very frustrating. These guys know all AC types and models, and one of the brands they are particularly expert in are Samsungs, which is one of the biggest reasons why I gave them a call.

I was hesitant because there was only just a few other reviews for them here, but figured they might be hungry to prove their value and boy, did they ever. I can definitely confirm that they are the real deal.

Jacob really knows his stuff (I had been hearing a few "different" things from different techs about what was causing our problems, and Jacob was the one who was ultimately "right" [and I also got the feeling from him that he knew he was right, if that makes sense] ... which also saves having to spend more time and money repairing and rediagnosing) and gave our system a clean bill of health for a much lower cost than we feared, told us some existing work was fine and didn't need replacing (when he could have pushed that), and actively at the end took a nice chunk off our final invoice for work that he didn't end up having to do.

Not to mention, they are EXTREMELY responsive, thorough, and attentive.

Whatever your AC need, PLEASE just do yourselves a favor and give Living Air a call first.
