Journey builders has been one of the most professional courteous and well rounded companies I have ever worked with. Work was all completed within a timely manner and the actual workmanship itself was phenomenal. Pricing is also very competitive for everything the have to offer. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone needing work done

I recently hired this company to repair the roof of my home, and I am extremely dissatisfied with their work. From the initial consultation to the incompleteness of the project, their team demonstrated unprofessionalism and inexperience that didn't exceed my expectations.

The initial consultation was confusing and a waste of time. The representative didn't take the time to assess the damage to my roof or provide a detailed explanation of the work that needed to be done.

The crew didn't arrive on time nor did they complete the repairment of the roof. Their workmanship was inadequate in passion. I was unimpressed with the level of care and lack of attention to detail they exhibited

Not only was the quality of their work short of excellence, but their customer service was also terrible. I didn't appreciate their rudeness and hostility towards me and my family. They made the entire experience feel overwhelming and unbearable.

Overall, I highly recommend that NOBODY accepts services from this company. To anyone in need of roofing services. Do your research and find a more QUALIFIED business besides this one. Save yourselves the mental and financial trouble these people will bring you.

I called Journey Builders to come and insect my roof because I was having some major leaks. A very nice gentleman named Erik came and inspected my roof and gave me a thorough breakdown of what needed to be done. The job was completed in the time frame that I was given initially and everything went smooth as promised. I couldn't be more happier with how professional and reliable these guys were. I wish I could give zero stars
1. Said they would be replacing the bad and dry rotted wood. They have covered up several areas with bad wood.
2. They agreed to install sheet metal to prevent leakage at the point where the roof and patio meet. Half way through the process, Now they say they will only be spreading some black Mastic goo in the area.
3. Installing the tiles they used nails too long, driving them all the way through the roof into my entry ceiling, garage and attic. Ruining my nice finished boards.
4. Numerous small areas have wood dry rotted and Journey Builders just covered them up. They had agreed to replace bad wood.
5. Worst possible roof repair attempt ever.
NEVER HEARD ANYONE LIE LIKE THEIR GUY CHRIS. I seriously wish I had used a more professional company.

Steve came to our home prepared, knowledgeable & professional. He was here every step of the way for our brand new roof installation. He was very 'hands-on' and showed up on several occasions. We now have a top quality roof with top quality products at a competitive price.

Mark provided a great quote for our roof. He stayed on top of everything and walked us through the process in detail. This is our first home so it was very appreciated. NO cost overruns despite some challenging issues that were handled well. He kept his word and worked very hard. Very responsible and professional. Even provided us assistance during his vacation. Mark, the Roofing Specialist who spoke with us, spent a lot of time letting us know what we needed and showed the shingles samples and other materials they use for roofing. Also, they are fully insured. He also explained how the process works and only had to pay when the stage they worked on was done. Mark communicated with us every day. He told us what was going to happen that day. The workers cleaned up daily, and no debris was left in the yard. If you want something, ask them, and if the city allows, they will accommodate, we asked for extra went, and we got it.
The finished roof looks fantastic.

We chose Journey Builders because of Mark. We liked he was not pushy like the representatives from other companies.

Mark at Journey Builders could not have been nicer or more professional. He was also very respectful. And, miraculously, he was able to get the leak in my roof repaired in between storms. The best news is that the roof didn’t leak again during the next day’s pounding rain. In addition, he took photos of what he found during his inspection of my roof, and explained in detail how the repair would be done. He also showed me the materials he would use. Then after the repair he took photos to show exactly what had been done. I could not have been luckier in finding someone to repair my roof. I would definitely call Mark at Journey Builders for any future roof problems.

Journey did thorough evaluation of the roof’s condition not just replacing the shingles but also uncovering damage from rot in the wood framing underneath. Provided their own roof inspector after installation was complete. Extremely easy to work with and made ever request asked of them to our satisfaction. Always responsive in a quick manner in getting back to me. If you want a 50 yr guarantee on your roof, they’re the ones to call.

Had them come out for roof replacement estimate. I had did all my materials cost for whats needed before they came out for the estimate. So do some research first on what materials you want on your home investment. (I did) Material Price, warranty roof removal and dump. You will surprise on the cost. I got quoted slightly over 30 thousand this company. Was shocked. Everything was under 10 thousand for the research, I did. You be the judge. Just want you to beware of the outrageous prices this company gives. Showed the quote to another roofing company and they where shocked and quoted me 20 thousand for the same thing. So BEWARE. Get estimates and do your research so you don't get taken for your money. All my info and Material calculations came from Home depot. Have a great day.

We were shopping around for quotes for a roof repair. Mark was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. He explained the whole process as far as materials, the company, and how the job gets done. We decided to move forward with Journey Builders and the entire process was very hands on. I was able to communicate with Mark the whole time and his immediate responses made me feel at ease knowing he was on top of it all. Journey charged me over twice what I could have paid if I had just looked at other roofers. Do yourself a favor, save a lot of money and check out several companies. I will never use Journey again, too overpriced.

Erik from journey builders was an amazing Project manager he help me through out the process of my roofing job and Brad at the end helped me out with the final paper work and handed me the warranty I would highly recommend this team.

I went with journey builders for my roofing project and I met Erik the Project manager Erik was very Helpful and responsive throughout the whole project and answered to all my questions and concerns and also at the end Brad came and did the final paperwork and provided me my 50 years roof warranty I am very satisfied and I would highly recommend Journey builders.

We have our roof replaced with a 50 years warranty in the works and materials ( shingles) . Vee B of Journey Builders is trustworthy and reliable.
They took of the old shingles and replaced some of the woods, the next day the inspector from City of Los Angeles inspected the work gave them a permission to install new shingles and new vents.
3 days later another inspection needed to be done by the City of Los Angeles. He went up, looked around and said : They did a great job, and signed the inspection report. We are happy with their work too and agreed with the inspector. The next day another employee of Journey Builders came by, checked the roof and gave us a 50 years warranty on the roof. We recommend this company, they did a great job, great service, the price is right too.
