Roto router plumber Johnson, did an excellent job of clearing out a badly clogged line. Roto-Rooter itself was quick and efficient in Sending out a plumber. Mr. Johnson arrived in less than one hour! Plumbing prices are competitive.

DO NOT USE ROTO ROOTER - Caused More Damage Than They Fixed

I wish I could give zero stars. On September 5th, I paid Roto Rooter $795 to fix a toilet backing up into my shower. They removed the toilet, snaked the line, found nothing, and left. The problem came back 3 days later. They returned on September 8th at no charge but still couldn't fix it - the technician just guessed it might be a T-shaped pipe and quoted me $5,000, suggesting I find someone cheaper. (long story short: they misdiagnosed the problem twice).

Fast forward to September 29th: A different plumber discovered water leaking under my house from the hallway toilet. His assessment? Roto Rooter improperly reinstalled the toilet on September 8th, and it's been leaking for nearly a month.
When I called to ask them to fix THEIR mistake, they:

Hung up on me. THREE TIMES.
Finally scheduled someone for 1-3 PM that day - no one showed up
Claimed they had no record of the appointment when I called back
Rescheduled for the next day (Sept 30th)
Sent me a text confirmation - I confirmed within 2 minutes
No one showed up again
Called and they claimed I never confirmed (I have the texts proving otherwise)
Promised someone in 40 minutes - no one came

So now I've paid them $795, have water leaking under my house for 25+ days causing potential structural damage and mold, and they won't even show up to fix their own faulty work.

They didn't solve my original problem, created a NEW problem with their shoddy work, then refused to take responsibility. I've filed a BBB complaint and am considering small claims court.
Save yourself the money, stress, and property damage. Use literally ANY other plumber.

I called Roto Rooter for a tub drain install. They were able to come out right away. Wes, Joe, and Chris were friendly, professional, and did a great job. Highly recommend.

Plumbing issues are a legitimate nightmare, especially for someone with OCD. I could not have asked for two better technicians to arrive to my home and know exactly what they were doing and fix the issue so quickly.

Highly recommend! Efficient and quick service. We had another plumber come in without being able to resolve an issue, luckily decided to call someone else for quote. Raphael was quick and pleasant, explained the issue and resolved it in less than half an hour. Even went above and beyond and cleaned up the mess it was left there even before he came in. Christopher did an incredible job and ! There was human sewage and fecal matter that seeped into the walls, bathroom and floors of my apartment living room. He was efficient, extremely knowledgeable and assessed the levels of mold, and was honest with his recommendations as an expert because I’m asthmatic and immunocompromised.

I called Roto -rooter for a second opinion today, I used another provider yesterday who told me there wasn’t a clog, they said the issue was because of narrowing of the copper pipe. The technician from the other company used a camera and spent a long time snaking it twice, and was not able to clear the clog in the line.
Today, Johnston my Rotor-rooter service technician arrived quickly, he was very professional and explained to me the issue and what my options were and approximately how much each option would cost.
When we agreed on an option and price, he was able to clear the clog within 2-3 minutes!!! I couldn’t believe it when I saw the drain emptying!!!! He was so quick and efficient, I was so impressed, I was speechless!!
If I have any future plumbing issues I’m definitely going to call Roto-Rooter and ask for Johnston!!! I also provided his info to my landlord to put on his list, for possible future service!!!
