I've been going to F. Collins Supply for years. I purchase the majority of my consumables here.
Whether it be for printed aluminum tape,
    HVAC duct liner,
    50/50 tribar solder,
and/or any flat stock sheet metal that I need
    (e.g. bonderized, galvanized & 26 gauge-20 gauge);
    They've got it.

Their majority customer base however seems to me to be HVAC service and repairmen within Ventura County.

I called The Water Heater Co. On Saturday morning because my water heater was leaking. Within a few hours, a technician arrived. Tanner was great! Polite, informative, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything to me, and i never felt like he was trying to up sell me something I didn't need. He finished within a couple hours and explained all he had done and how to operate the equipment if necessary. Very happy with their service . Would definitely call again if necessary.

Zach R came over and explained all options for replacing my 20 year old gas tank water heater. He quoted a fair price and installed the new heater the same day. I'm very pleased with his work. Here's Zach next to the new heater.

The Water Heater Company: Where Service Makes All the Difference

Jake: Let me preface this by saying that finding a good service company can feel like striking gold these days. So, when I encountered The Water Heater Company, and specifically Jake, it was a breath of fresh air. My need wasn't simple – I wanted a specific gas water heater (Bradford White) to fit a specific space and budget. Not an easy task.
Enter Jake, the patient hero. From the get-go, he understood my requirements and the importance of finding the right solution. What unfolded was a testament to true customer service:
Countless calls back and forth: Jake never hesitated to answer my questions, no matter how small or repetitive. He patiently navigated my concerns and offered options.
Regular updates: I was never left in the dark. Jake kept me informed at every step, from exploring alternatives to confirming installation details.
Professionalism with a smile: Even when faced with challenges (like the incompatibility of my desired model with my space), Jake remained professional and friendly. He never lost his cool, even when explaining things, I might not have wanted to hear.
Honesty and transparency: Jake prioritized my needs, even if it meant suggesting a different (but ultimately better) solution. I appreciated his candor and commitment to finding the right fit.
Ultimately, due to space constraints, the 240T6N wasn't a possibility. However, thanks to Jake's dedication and expertise, we found a perfect alternative that fit both my needs and budget. His commitment to service and genuine care made all the difference.
In today's world, where customer service can often be impersonal and transactional, The Water Heater Company, and especially Jake, stand out. They truly embody the values of going the extra mile, prioritizing customer needs, and providing exceptional service. If you're looking for a company that treats you like a valued individual, not just a transaction, look no further. And if you're lucky enough to get Jake, consider yourself in good hands!

    Luke: Our Plumbing Superhero!
Hands down, the BEST experience I've ever had with a plumber! Luke went above and beyond to replace our water heater, and I don't know what we would have done without him. Here's why I'm singing his praises:
Sweet as can be: From the moment he arrived, Luke exuded a warmth and kindness that instantly put us at ease. He explained everything clearly, patiently answered our questions (no matter how silly!). It felt like having a friendly neighbor over to help, rather than a stranger working on our plumbing.
Patience of a saint: Our water heater replacement wasn't exactly straightforward. There were unforeseen complications, and Luke could have easily gotten frustrated. Instead, he remained calm, explained the options clearly, and worked collaboratively with us to find the best solution. His patience and understanding were truly remarkable.
Knowledge to the rescue: Luke's expertise was evident throughout the process. He diagnosed the problem quickly, explained the different water heater options in a way we could understand, and expertly handled the installation. He even shared some helpful tips on maintaining our new water heater, ensuring it lasts for years to come.
Professional perfectionist: Not only was Luke knowledgeable, but his work was meticulous and professional. He left the work area spotless, cleaned up any mess, and made sure everything was functioning perfectly before leaving. It's clear he takes pride in his work and ensures customer satisfaction.

Brittney: Won’t forget you either. She isn’t just the person who answers the phone, she too was professional and understanding and I didn’t want to feel like I was imposing, but she never gave that impression. Great front end and professional too!

Highly recommend without hesitation: If you're looking for a plumber who is skilled, kind, patient, and professional, look no further than this establishment! They are all true gems. Thanks, to all at this wonderful establishment, for being our plumbing superhero!

They responded quickly to my water heater failure and determined that it would not be cost effective to repair my 13 year old tankless water heater. Luke the technician and I discussed replacement options, the pros & cons of each as well as pricing.
Once we agreed on a placement Luke quickly removed the old unit allowing me to immediately start removing the wet moldy drywall and start the drying process. Luke arrived on time the following day to start installing the new tankless and was able to work around me finishing the repair of the drywall before mounting the new unit and finishing the copper connection. Luke was very professional and I would recommend him and The Water Heater Company to a friend if I were asked for a recommendation.

The Water Heater Company was excellent to work with. I needed to replace my old water heater and after reading this company’s wonderful reviews I decided to call them. The entire process from start to finish was as smooth as it can possibly be. My service tech, Brian, was very professional, informative, down to earth and just overall a great guy. He was able to provide great recommendations as well as give me reasonable estimates. He got the job done on a timely manner. Also, I want to point out that Brian nor The Water Hester Company, were NOT trying to up charge or recommend more expensive models to go with. They simply asked if there was a model I was already interested and what i specifically wanted and they were more than accommodating. I would be confident in recommending them as well as asking them for help if I ever need repairs in the future! Highly recommend!

My experience with The Water Heater Company was great. I got their name from the Rheem website, and searched and saw all their great reviews on google. They came out the same day I called. Edit: Zack was easy to work with (who also looked like my nephew travis) explained my options and did a fantastic job when I decided to replace my old unit. I am very satisfied with the results. I would highly recommend The Water Heater Company if you have annoying water heater problems preventing reliable hot water.

The noisy recalculator pump was troubleshooted with good results. The technician also advised tankless water heater maintenance which he accomplished in a thorough manner.

On the positive side the technicians arrived on time, were respectful, and cleaned things up before they left. On a negative side they did not do any real diagnosis, instead they called the mfg, Rheem, and followed their instructions to bring up diagnostic codes, something my adult daughter had already done and I gave to them when we set up the service. They did not open anything on the water heater to actually check any of the parts noted by the diagnostic codes. They then stated things that were not factual about details of the installation to try to upsell my daughter on things that had nothing to do with the problem and were not needed, such as stating the water heater enclosure we bought at Home Depot with the description “Water Heater enclosure” was not a water heater enclosure and we needed to have I’ve framed in with studs and finished with stucco! They also stated that the 65 gallon water heater should be replaced with a 50:gallon water heater even after my daughter told them she had a 80 gallon soaking tub. They were clearly more focused on upselling than repairing our water heater. Unfortunately, it seems that all of the other authorized repair companies in our area are also notorious aggressive upsell companies. I highly recommend avoiding The Water Heater Company as there are several trust worthy plumbers in the area, but none of them waste their money to be on the Rheem list, so I also recommend avoiding Rheem products unless you are a skilled plumber and want to practice repairing poorly made appliances!

Mitchell did a great job of evaluating our situation and making speedy and prompt appointment, repair and installation. Highly trusted and a great company to use for your water heating needs. We had a tankless water heater replaced and they did a complete job swapping out all the old parts, pipes and venting. Its all brand new and works great. Highly professional work.

Got a tankless water heater replaced and the service technician who installed it did an excellent job. If that was my only experience with this company, this review would have been a full five stars. My main issue in dealing with The Water Heater Company has to do with the questionable call service. The automated service that answers is dysfunctional and I ended my first call almost immediately. Had the customer service rep not called me back, I would have gone with another company to install the new water heater. Later, when I had to call to report an issue with the heater install, I hung up from frustration after dealing with the AI service for a few minutes. I was fortunate enough to get a follow-up call from an actual person and got the situation resolved immediately.

In short, the people and the workers at this company provide excellent service IF you can get over having to wrestle with an automated answering service that has a low chance of correctly interpreting what you have to say.

If you are looking for the top professional services and customer support, The Water Heater Company is the best choice.
I had contacted a few other companies prior to making my final decision. They had visited my property, seen the water heater, and made their proposals.

What immediately stood out with The Water Heater Company was the very first phone conversation when I was asked for details about my existing water heater, its capacity, condition, and the reasons for repair. It was very helpful because, for the first visit, they had already prepared a similar replacement if it was needed.
However, there wasn't any marketing pressure.

Unlike other companies, the first visit from The Water Heater Company was a free-of-charge technical inspection with special equipment to measure water pressure and gas, in order to make an objective conclusion about the current condition of my water heater.
My water heater was over 10 years old and started to leak.

The replacement was a challenging project for many reasons, and Jim R. demonstrated high professionalism throughout the entire process, starting with diagnostics to comprehensive instructions after the installation was complete. Everything was done according to the current regulations and with the best materials (copper pipes).
I received a warranty from the company and the water heater production.

With new water heater I got better water pressure and temperature as well as much better electricity saving!

I am very satisfied with the service, customer support (office), pricing and Jim.R performance and highly recommend this company to anyone.

We had a slow leak in our old water heater that left the garage floor soggy. The Water Heater Company popped up as a recommended option and they were absolutely stellar. Mike P. and his trainee, Jake, arrived at 8:30am sharp - right when they said they would and immediately diagnosed the problem. It was time for a new water heater and what really struck me was that Mike P. and Jake took the time to explain our options, walk us through each scenario, and help us make the best decision for a new unit. Not only that, but they also explained how our vent angle needed to be brought up to code and that new fixtures, earthquake straps, and a new pan would provide the most peace of mind. We went with these recommended options and the work was completed same-day and on-time. Afterward, Mike P. and Jake went over all the work that was done, how to turn on/off the pilot light, and then cleaned up all their gear (and hauled away the old unit) so the space was like new. Consummate professionals and we will be using The Water Heater Company again when the time comes.

My MIL recommended me this company as she’s used them in the past. They took out my old water heater and placed a new one in. They were very informational, fast, friendly and effective! Very fair in pricing as well. They even called me back on a Sunday to schedule something asap when my water heater broke. I will be recommending them in the future to anyone who needs. Thanks for your help! Nate specifically our onsite person was wonderful!
