My water heater was leaking from the bottom and I thought I would need a new one. I called The Water Heater CO and Justin L. was our technician. Justin was friendly and professional, explaining our water system needs. He immediately diagnosed that our drain valve was the failure point and that a repair was possible. Our water heater is over 15 years old so I got a quote for a replacement. He worked with us to find a price that I was comfortable with. In the end I decided to repair the drain valve first to maximize the old unit but I will definitely give Justin L and the Water Heater Co my business in the future.

Experience with Water Heater company was great and technician Marc W. was professional, fast, and a joy to work with. I'd absolutely use them again even though I hope to not need to for a little while.

This company is awesome. Just had Mike P come by to install a new water heater and a pressure regulator. He was super nice and did an amazing job. We couldn’t be happier. I highly recommend these guys if you want someone trustworthy.

The Water Heater Company was courteous, straightforward, on the job quickly and did clean work. Mike and Ricky were conscientious and thorough. They also communicated well regarding the ‘why’s’ and ‘how’s’ of their scope and procedures. I would recommend them.

The Water Heater Company installed a new upstairs water heater plus an outside pressure valve/regulator in my Ventura home. Mike P was my technician. They were responsive, accurate estimate, and clean and tidy work. Mike was polite and helpful about what was needed. He addressed my concerns about the platform the heater sits on. Once I decided to go, the service was prompt. I have worked with them before and will do so again if needed.

If you don't have something, nice to say, you shouldn't say anything at all. But I can't help myself because my experience left such bad taste in my mouth. Our water heater was under warranty and we found this company on the equipment's website. We scheduled an appointment and we're given the same day service. The parts were covered under the warranty, yet, we still had to pay $635 for labor and I was told it was including $100 warranty processing fee. I was also quoted approximately $1,100 additionally, because my water heater was not up to code. I decided only to go with the repair because the warranty is up next year. When I replace the water heater I will make sure it is up to code next time. The salesperson/repairman stated that that was what he was going to suggest, which I don't believe or he would have not quoted me the $1,100. This water heater was installed in 2020 for $1,400 by my plumber who has retired. I asked the water heater company how much it would cost for a new water heater and I was quoted $3,500. My neighbor just replaced hers September 2025 for $1,900 with a very reputable local plumbing company. The Water Heater Company is too expensive, and I do not appreciate their sales tactics. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I thought it would be better to go with the specialized company rather than a plumbing company, but I was wrong.

He arrived on time, was incredibly professional, and took the time to explain the entire process before getting started. Wanted to replace a 15 year-old 50 gal. water heater in our Pasadena home with a tankless heater, as well as have some additional plumbing repairs done. I called The Water Heater Company, and they sent out Jared to give me an estimate. Jared put in all of the details for the tasks, and generated a detailed estimate with some additional options if I wanted. This is so much better than other plumbing companies l've used that eyeball things and give gut-feel pricing. The pricing was fair and reasonable.
On installation day, Jared and Jim arrived and did very high quality and meticulous work. Pipes were run neatly, sweat connections were soldered clean and tight with little excess, and gas connections were sealed tight and properly strapped. I've used many plumbers and have even done copper and pvc repairs myself over the years (I'm nearly 60 now). And l've found this company and crew did excellent, top-notch work at a great price. I have a peace of mind that this install is safe and set to last for many years into the future.

Made a same day appointment. Justin, the technician, arrived in the early afternoon and removed the old heater and replaced it with a nice new one in two hours. The instillation was done to code as opposed to the prior company I had used . After the setup everything was explained to me along with a couple plumbing issues that Justin noticed during the setup. I would consider this a perfect transaction. Everything was done perfect, everything was done quickly, and everyone I dealt with at the Water Heater Company were both very professional and really nice people. I would use this company's service again. Pro tip: make your appointment on line or call, the address on Google maps isn't setup as a showroom or for customers to drop by.

Extremely easy to schedule a visit for an assessment and quote. Kept me communicated via text and email. Technician Danny C. Showed up on time. Was professional, efficient, and really kind. He explained to me the problem very well. He was sweet to my elderly dog. He not only fix the issue but at a reasonable price. He knew that I knew nothing about water heaters and could have asked me to replace the whole thing but instead he was very honest and solve my problem. A happy customer with hot water!

They were very responsive to my call and had a service tech out to see me within the hour. Mike was my technician and he did a great job on the install and explained all the features and warranty options. They also installed a much needed pressure regulator.

I came back from a trip to find my water heater was leaking all over the place. I was referred to THE Water Heater Company by some friends, whose opinions I hold in high regard, and I was not disappointed. The company gave me straightforward options and said they could respond the next day and would likely be able to replace my water heater that same day. Marc was able to remove my old water heater and replace it with a great brand in the time he said it would take; moving everything up and down 3 flights of stairs and working in a small space.

A great experience from start to finish: thorough review of existing equipment and services; thorough explanation of available options and explained better versus worse options; they said what they were going to do and delivered on that. Everything was straightforward and handled efficiently. It was also great to have someone who takes pride and is enthusiastic about the work they do.
