We called MaxSeal because we weren’t getting enough heat through the vent in our master bedroom. They are so professional and accommodating. We got an appointment almost immediately and when they arrived, they did a thorough investigation and testing of our heater and all the vent flows.
They actually suggested a minor solution that would not cost us anything. They gave us an estimate for providing their full Maxseal service. The estimate looked good, but we had to put off doing the full service until we can work it into our budget.
Nevertheless, their suggestions worked as a temporary solution, and we look forward to hiring them for the full service in the future.
I commend Alex and his staff for managing a business with integrity and honest professional service, which is becoming harder to find. Often, companies practice a marketing approach where they trick customers into buying or paying for services that are not needed. This is not the case with Maxseal. I completely trust them. They have gone above and beyond to prove themselves reliable, honest, and dependable.

Our utility bills had increased and the indoor air quality decreased over the past few years. I had our mechanical contractor inspect and clean the ductwork and he recommended MaxSeal as a follow up because the ductwork appeared to be in relatively good condition but the duct joints were suspect. MaxSeal responded quickly, tested and sealed the ductwork in one day. Initial test indicated significant air loss into the crawl space. Sealing the ductwork greatly reduced the losses to insignificant amounts. The indoor air quality is great and we expect the utility bill reduction to provide a one year payback. MaxSeal is highly recommended.

I couldn't be more impressed with the entire process. Professional service combined with technologically advanced equipment. The day went smooth, and the results were astounding. Over 90% of my duct leaks were sealed, which means my HVAC system runtime was nearly cut in half - plus, airflow at my registers improved over 20%. Before MaxSeal, if it was over 100 degrees outside the house never used to get below 80 degrees, with the unit running for 14 hours straight. Now it gets down to 78 degrees, and it only runs intermittently. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see a major improvement on the performance of their HVAC system. I can't wait to see how this summer's bills compare to last summer.

Living in a 30+ year old home, we knew we had leakage in our ducting because we could feel cold air in the winter and warm air in the summer coming through the registers. MaxSeal offered a solution at a fraction of the cost of replacing the ducting. Plus, MaxSeal repaired faulty ducting in the walls, without having to remove drywall.

The owner of MaxSeal, Alex, is a true professional. He provided a thorough explanation of how he will test our system to determine leaks, then while conducting the seal process he continued to explain what was occurring though real-time computer-generated graphs, and when completed, provided immediate results showing reduced leakage by 95.5 percent, and an increase of the CFM’s produced by our registers by 35%. That’s incredible!

What impressed me the most is, I realized this is not a cookie cutter business. Apparently, our house presented some new challenges, but never once did Alex or his team hesitate to make sure everything was done with excellence, whether it be crawling in the attic or below the house in the crawl space.

We do not have air conditioning, however, my home is noticeably more comfortable upstairs and downstairs this summer, than in previous summers. That is because there is no hot air leaking into the ducts and coming into the house via the registers. I’m expecting my system to run less in the winter and for my house to remain more comfortable, as well as the cost of my gas bill to go down.

Alex came to our jobsite, and provided a professional, viable solution to a complex problem. At first, we were skeptical about product "too good to be true", however Alex, his team, and product performed as promised. We wouldn't hesitate to utilize Alex, and MaxSeal again for duct sealing solution.

We had Alex at MaxSeal do an AreoSeal of our ducts. In short, it was an excellent service and product and I would recommend this service.

Our house was built in 1950 and I'm sure our ducts have been leaking a bit. They have been insulated and are in general good shape, but we wanted a tighter seal. We want to extend the life of our current furnace, have a more even distribution of heat (more comfort), and a cleaner system.

Alex and company came in, did a pre-seal analysis, revealed that our system was pulling in 256 CFM as dirty unconditioned (cold) air from the attic, it would then have to heat that air prior to blowing it into the supply ducts. We had 331 CFM leakage, resulting in 20.7% loss.

Alex and his team did the areoseal, which took a few hours. It was very interesting to watch in real time how the total loss continued to drop as the ducts were sealed from the inside.

The post analysis showed a total reduction to only 22 CFM, which was about 1.4% loss.. That is remarkable.

We have been living with the sealed ducts for about 4 months or so and we have noticed a few good things: the furnace is running less often. Also, the heat is much more evenly spread out throughout the house/ducts. Before, there were some rooms that were not getting enough air flow, but after sealing, all the rooms had an increase of supply, balancing out the system very nicely.

Instead of spending considerable more for new ducts, Alex and MaxSeal sealed our ducts from the inside for a lot less money. We feel we got great service and a superior product to give us more comfort and extend the life of our system.

It is a shame there are so few companies doing this work which made it a challenge to locate max seal but I am happy I was directed to Alex. My heater system is blowing more air than ever.

Our experience with Alex and Max seal was just amazing. I never realized the amount of work they do to seal your house. We were given initial data of the house leaks and data after sealing. Couldn't believe how inefficient our ducting system was. We were blowing over 75% of our heat into the attic and under the house. We watched as the sealing improved as the material was pumped into the vents. He even demonstrated how it sealed by cutting the input tube and we watched it seal its self.
Alex and his helper sealed every vent in the house carefully making sure nothing got damaged in the process. He crawled under the house in that spider factory to check and tape ducts that were open. He kept us completely informed throughout the time he was there. Cleanup was just as painstakingly done to make sure everything was clean and picked up.
I was completely impressed when I saw that there is a better than 35% improvement in flow through and a 97% seal of the vents. I had leakage of 641CFM reduced to 22CFM. Unbelievable. Alex with Maxseal was able to get a large custom home back on schedule. He and his crew were timely, efficient, and clean throughout the entire process.
